Horrible service but I assume no one cares. Had an original install date of 12/15/20 for a tow hitch install. Was called on 12/12/20 and was told part was delayed and installed postponed till 1/4/21. Received another call on 1/2/20 that they would need to reschedule as the person doing the install would not be in. Soonest available to reschedule was 1/7/21. Already aggravated as I needed the hitch installed I agreed to the 1/7/21 date at 12:30pm. I drove 40 minutes there as I live in San Francisco for the scheduled install. I arrive on time and was immediately told that they would have to reschedule as their tow hitch install employee was not in. Already upset that I drove out and wasted my time and didnt receive any call/notification to reschedule the attendant told me to come back Saturday 1/9/20 at 1:30pm. He guaranteed me he would do it himself if he had to. Then offered a discount for my troubles. Already annoyed I just agreed since I had no other option as my move date was nearing soon and was out of options. The final straw was I showed up on 1/9/20 at 1:30pm as instructed, handed my keys over and was told it would be about 2.5hours as the installer was finishing up another install. With nowhere to go I walked around town for a few hours since I had no other means of transportation then figured I would make my way back. I show up at 5:30pm. 3 hours later and my vehicle was still untouched. Hadnt even been moved into the install area. Upset already of the huge waste of my time and level of unprofessionalism of the employees there, I immediately demanded my keys and full refund as I was done. The employee at the desk then had the nerves to acuse me of being disrespectful for being upset at the situation. Hello?! Wasting my time 3 different times and not completing the service isnt disrespectful to the customer? Even though I didnt raise my voice, just demanded my keys and my money back. The most horrible experience I can think of. How can you run a business like that? Oh and on top of that just me trying to go the extra mile as the customer trying to call ahead to verify if the appointment is still on or check on any delays is useless. They do not answer the phone at all!

Extra Space Storage

I came to this location Extra Space Storage on Meeker Richmond California from online servicing. Shortly after the purchase I received the phone call from the manager her name is Chris, she was giving me a welcome call instructions and the layout of the property because there are tracks that runs in between the office and the storage containers. She was very warm and friendly and there was almost like I had met her before. The following day my husband and I arrived only to meet a second manager. Which turned out to be Chriss husband Andre. Immediately there was an aura of comfort inside the office for a lack of a better word. Andre was very handy and helpful when it came to stacking my storage unit to keep the rate that I had from online. Because once I drove up to the unit I purchased I saw that it was three times smaller than what I needed. Andre came to my U-Haul Van looked inside and immediately said yes you can fit these things inside he was more like looking out for my economics my budget and I agreed! Of course I had to run this by my husband so he came inside, met Andre and you might as well say I was not there!! They were like two brothers that hadnt seen each other in years!! It was really nice!! Long story short, my husband was tired, so we opted for a larger unit. I was paying pretty close to double at another storage. I am a winner!! I would advise anyone looking for a storage unit and in the area of Meeker Avenue Richmond California please stop by and meet Mr and Mrs Andre and Chris they are awesome!!! I thank you guys so very much for all your help all your warmth and your welcoming. Thee place is immaculate!! I am an OCD type of person, I have no qualms about the cleanliness of this storage location. Very welI organized with great pricing of all your packing needs and more. Costco Wholesale

BLANCA, THE WHITE LATINA WHO WAS WORKING SELF CHECKOUT ON SUNDAY, March 19, BETWEEN 11:00 AM AND 11:15 AM, IS RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, PROBABLY RACIST, NEEDS MORE TRAINING AND SHOULD HONESTLY BE FIRED. ITS 2023, AND PEOPLE LIKE HER SHOULD NOT HAVE A JOB IF THEY FEEL THEY NEED TO ACT LIKE THAT.I have been to this Costco many times and have never had an issue, making this situation much more unfortunate. I was waived to use one of the self-checkout stations by Blanca, who worked the section on Sunday morning, March 19. It is important to note that before me completing my transactions, Blanca did not ask me anything about being an Instacart Shopper. Also, please note that all Instacrat Shoppers pay with the same united states treasury notes as anyone else shopping in that store. After successfully completing two transactions, including scanning the membership card for both, I find Blanca now aggressively standing behind me. In front of many other patrons, Blanca loudly states, You know you are not supposed to do Instacart at self-check-out!I respond, No, I did not know that actually, nor do I see any signage stating that.I am telling you! Blanca exclaims.I have supplemented my income through Instacart shopping for over ten years, perhaps almost as long as self-check-out has existed. I have shopped in multiple cities throughout California, many stores that use self-checkout, and I can absolutely declare that there are ZERO other stores on Instacarts platform that have ever tried to enforce a silly policy like this. I can check out at self-checkout as an Instacart Shopper at literally any other store on Instacart, so for Blanca to suggest that I cannot at this store screams racism. A racist policy enforced by racist individuals, likely created by the same racist. To have a policy like that and to have someone like Blanca aggressively trying to implement it AFTER I have already finished my transaction screams racism.Like, why else tell an Instacart shopper we cant use self-checkout? I asked Blanca very calmly, and she kept yelling, You can talk to the supervisor! Even though I completed my transactions successfully and had finished. Blanca made me feel like I had committed a crime, and being spoken to like that in front of hella people was embarrassing. And for no reason.Im sure the supervisor has better things to do than explain to shoppers a stupid, baseless rule about why they cant do Instacart at self-checkout as if the money I spend as an Instacart shopper spends any differently than anyone else with a debit card.If the policy exists, its dumb and should not. Also, Blanca should be fired because she is clearly a racist and lacks customer service skills. Just because I am Black and shop for Instacart does not make me any less of a customer, Blanca.
Hilltop Kia

I recently purchased a 2020 Telluride. I spoke with several local Bay Area dealers and all of them were marking up MSRP anywhere from $3k-$7K due to the level of demand.I was ready to put down a deposit with a dealer when I received an email from Moe at Hilltop Kia which clearly stated in the subject line No mark up. I have one available.I reached out to Moe but thought this was going to be some kind of bait-and-switch approach. But Moe was no nonsense over the phone. He described to me the two Tellurides that were being delivered to the dealership within the next few weeks. He quickly followed up by emailing me the window stickers for each vehicle. Again, I questioned him about the dealer mark-up above MSRP. He assured me that there was no mark-up. I came down later that day to put down a $1000 deposit. That process took 10-15 minutes. It gave me the opportunity to meet Moe and one of the dealers Finance Managers, Noel Ong, in person. They were both friendly and straightforward. It was refreshing. As I waited for my Telluride to arrive at Hilltop Kia, I went back to the previous dealers I spoke with and shared that Moe was not marking up the MSRP. They were in disbelief and they refused to come down to the MSRP. Further, they emphasized that I would likely pay for it on the back end via warranties, maintenance plans, upsells, etc.Less than two weeks later, I received a text from Moe with a photo of my Telluride sitting on the dealer lot. I went down to pick it up and fully expected Moe to upsell me on an extended warranty plan or a maintenance package. None of that. He just asked me the following:1) Are you leasing or purchasing?2) How long of a term?3) How much are you putting down?3) Do you want to take a cash rebate or go with a lower interest rate?4) Are you interested in an extended warranty or maintenance package? If so, which one? There was no pressure from Moe or his team to steer me into a specific product. I think it helped that I basically knew how I wanted to structure the deal beforehand. Moe respected that. He didnt push it and he didnt waste my time. We got through that portion in less than 30 min. From there I just had to complete the title, transfer & registration paperwork with the Finance team. This process was really the only negative part of my experience. Unfortunately, there was only one finance person working that day and there were four other buyers in front of me. I waited a LONG TIME just waiting to get the paperwork completed. While Moe could have gone home, he stuck around through the completion of the paperwork to thank me and send me off.Despite that, I still had a great experience with Moe at Hilltop Kia. He was professional, straightforward, not pushy, and he respected my time (and my preferences). I would highly recommend Moe to my friends & family and I would certainly do business with him again. He stood out in comparison to the other dealers I was speaking with. Highly recommended!
Susanville Ford
704-485 Richmond Rd E, Susanville, CA 96130, United States
Horrible buying experience. Shane Barnes was completely inept and made my buying process from out of state a nightmare.Shane Barnes had the truck shipped to my state without temp tags so I can't drive it legally to get a state inspection. He also didn't mail me my buyers paperwork which is needed to register the truck in my state.I contacted Shane Barnes for the paperwork and he spent a full day giving me the run around and did not send the paperwork until I finally had to send a rude message. He finally sent the paperwork and told me, LOL, as a response.I'd like the owner of this dealership to contact me and explain why this is the way your dealership does business. I've bought multiple out of state vehicles and all were delivered with temp tags. This is the most cumbersome purchase I have ever been through. So buyer beware. If you want to be treated as an afterthought and as a person who has to handle things that should be handled don't buy from this dealership. Absolutely unprofessional and trashy behavior.Shane Barnes is extremely unprofessional and someone who does not take doing his job seriously. Don't buy from him.I literally sent like 10 messages to buy a car from out of state. The most hassle free customer you could wish for. And the way I was treated was unacceptable. Thanks Shane Barnes for your unprofessional behavior and absolute incompetence.
Hanlees Hilltop GMC

I called to get estimates for some work on my 2005 GMC Yukon. I was given a appointment and no quote for the estimates. I expressed I wanted estimates only. I arrived on Friday April 12.2019 at 1030. I was told that they would need to keep my car all day, Joe Perry the service worker would call me when they had the estimates. He handed me a paper and said sign there.. I said what is this permission to look at the car? he said yes and walked off.. I signed it under the impression that it was a work order to authorize them to just look at the car. Joe Perry called me at about 1:45 with estimates that were extremely high. He said over 2 grand for breaks and roters, and several hundred dollars for the rest including a Belt that would cost me 300.00...I told him I needed to talk to my husband and would like to pick up the car. He said to give him an hour and he would have it put back together. I asked him what the charges were for the estimates/diagnostic ..He said 437.50..I arrived with my husband shocked at this price. My husband asked Joe several times For what work? there was no work done to our car. Joe responded by telling him I signed an agreement to pay between $400-$700.00 I should be lucky he didnt charge us the $700.00!. At no time what so ever did anyone go over the possible charges with me before I left my car there. Nobody told me verbally that I could be responsible for fees between 400 and 700 dollars. Nobody went over the work order and discussed the charges for the estimates. It was very unprofessional of him to tell us he could of charged us more ! and we should be glad he didnt. We had to pay to get our car back but felt strongly that we were taken advantage of and greatly over charged. We would like to receive some kind of refund on the charges.Any other car dealership would give you an estimate up front to do the work.. most dealerships have a flat rate to get estimates. Also looking on your web site I see you also have specials on breaks and rotters which was never discussed with us or did anyone inform us about this. We will be following up with a more formal complaint and take appropriate steps in this matter. There is clearly some shady and unprofessional business being done here. There is no way I can with good conscious recommend this dealership to anyone.
