El Monte RV Rentals
565 E Redlands Blvd, San Bernardino, CA 92408, United States
LONG REVIEW- TL;DR - Customer service didnt feel customer oriented, had problems with RV. But if we *had* to rent from here again, we might. We were comped for some items for inconvenience. Continue for details:We were first-time RV renters. When we first called to ask about rentals, the woman who answered spoke so fast we couldnt even process what she was saying and when we would ask her to clarify, it seemed like we were bothering her. Still, we reserved a rental.Upon being contacted for rental pickup, again - fast speaking woman was the one who called us. She gave us the time we needed to go pick up, but no other information.I had a short list of questions but only got to ask one because as soon as she gave me the answer and I said thank you (for the answer), she ended the call and hung up.I brought my dad along to the rental pick-up so our car could be driven back by someone. The same woman from the calls was the same to service us at the counter. She had us sign off rental info then asked for the authorized drivers to sign the paper. I signed, my dad signed, then I told her that my husband was at work and therefore not present to sign. Then he cant drive. Mind you, we werent told that all drivers would have to be present (again, first time renters so we had no idea what to expect). So that was a wouldve-been-nice-to-know moment. We inspected the RV interior on our own because of COVID guidelines and was shown existing minor exterior bumps and dings that we were not responsible for. Then, we just kind of stood there outside. Finally someone came out to give us the last of our paperwork and we were like, ..so, do we just leave now? We just didnt really feel very well informed on whats supposed to happen and when.Got home with the RV and cleaned the interior myself (not sure if they also clean it, but it still needed some attention). Also, good thing I tested and checked all storage areas because the storage key actually cracked (rusted). That wouldve been a nightmare on the road. So I drove back to the rental place to get a replacement. We learned on our first night out that one of the hoses underneath the RV wasnt properly connected/glued to the drainage (? - I dont know anything about how it worked. I just know our fresh water drainage was leaking everywhere at the RV site and my husband had to do a quick fix to remedy it). Also, electrical outlets in the kitchen and dining area did not work so we were hooking up our small appliances into the bedroom outlets or overhead compartments. For these things, our additional mileage was waived which was I think about $80.When we returned the RV, the fast-speaking woman seemed much nicer than our initial interactions with her. However, while she was nice with us this time, there was a man who came in looking to ask questions about his upcoming rental and she told him repeatedly she didnt have time to answer anything and shed have to call him which, to me, seemed unprofessional because she couldve asked either my family or the man to hang on a bit while she addressed one or the other.Ill add that the rest of the staff (young man and young woman) though nice, seem unknowledgeable. I think if they had the skillset to address some of the concerns then it would make for a smoother process for all parties because the woman seems stressed out and the younger employees seem like they want to help, but cant.

I picked up a trailer on Saturday at 10:45a. The mgr Angel N. handle my rental. He ask what time I would return the trailer. I said before 9p he said their store closes at 7p but that I could drop it off under the awning out front without extra charge. I thank him and went out to have the tech hook up my trailer to my truck. I asked and he confirmed where to drop off the trailer after hours. At 8:50p I return the trailer to the location under their awning. Later I see a double charge was applied to my Credit Card I have called them 6 times to discuss twice i talked to Michael who took all my info and said he would have Angel call me back that did not happen either time. After you wait on hold for more that like 15 minutes it transfers you to a rental person who is not on site and really cant help. They do instant message Angel but still no response. So providing my experience on yelp to alter others and contacting corporate customer service and filling a CAF report are my only options.

Everything with my truck rental went fine. Its what happened afterwards that leads me to write this review. My card number was charged with my rental, they also used my card to charge someone elses rental. After two dead end phone calls to this location I called corporate uhaul customer service. That customer service rep confirmed for me that my card was used on another contract number, and that persons contract already had a card number associated with it but somehow my card became the second card on file for that contract, and lucky me, my card was the one charged. She assured me she had spoken to the GM of that location (while I was on hold) and that he would look into it and call me back himself. After two business days of hearing nothing, I went to the location myself to confront the issue. I was told that sometimes there are glitches and the GM wasnt currently there. All my information was taken and I was assured it would be passed on to the GM and I would receive a call. It has been another 2 business days so as you can tell I am not pleased. I had to claim a fraudulent charge with my bank and cancel my card in order to get my money back even though Uhaul CONFIRMED the charge was not mine. Now I get weeks of fun dealing with the fact I have to update all other payments with a new card number that I have to wait a week to receive because of the fact this happened while I was in the middle of changing addresses. Very displeased to be treated like this when I am a repeat Uhaul customer (I move nearly every year for the past 13 years). I did everything in my power to chase this down and be patient and I was met with no consideration or care.

I'd I could give no stars I would. When I got to the office, I waited almost 40- 45 mins before anyone helped me. I got there before 7:30am & didn't leave till almost 9am. Everyone looked at me like I was in the wrong place assuming because I'm a female and I went without my husband. The men working in the front literally would walk right past me without asking if I needed help. Very unprofessional. Anyways, I rented a generator on a Saturday morning and due to them being closed on Sundays I had to return on Monday morning. The men working in the front reassured me that as long as I turn it in before 8am I will get my full deposit back, I turned it in as soon as they opened at 7am & still didn't receive the deposit, If you're a women and thinking of going alone? Do not go. Send someone else because I feel like they're antifeminist & took advantage. I will not be returning.

Allied Heavy Duty Towing

Right after calling AAA I received a phone call within 10 minutes from Allied Trucking Company asking about my Tow. The guy on the phone was very professional and understanding. He asked what was the reason for my tow today. I told him my brakes were really low and didn't feel comfortable driving my car down to the auto mechanic shop. He understood the situation and told me that my driver would be out within in 10-15 minutes. I'm thinking to myself…10-15 minutes that's quick..most drivers usually come in 30-45 or an hour from the time you called for a tow. So that's what I was expecting. Well, I was wrong…I herd his truck coming down my street within time frame…I was definitely shocked..I was not expecting them to stand on that time frame. My driver Julio gets out and greets me and immediately confirms my drop location and drives my car up to the his flatbed truck. He got right to business. Very professional…good guy.He definitely knew what he was doing when it came to hooking the car up and putting all the belts on each tire making sure each tire was tight and secured. I like that! I'm definitely one of those better get this right the first time people lol. But, Julio didn't disappoint. He told me he will text me to let me know that my car was dropped off safely to my auto mechanic shop.. which he did…and of course I had to double check and yeah it was there. I gotta say this company was the best tow company I've had so far; towing my car safely and staying professional all the way through hands down. I've never had any tow company arrive on time and meant it. Allied Trucking please stay like this don't ever say something and don't mean it. We customs like honesty and honesty goes along way. Thanks again for all your help!
Extra Space Storage
875 E Mill St, San Bernardino, CA 92408, United States
What a scam, I rented a unit online from this facility, now i admit that I didn't notice the unit was upstairs. When i went into the facility two days later to finish whatever needed to be done, Kenny advised it was an upstairs unit. Now Kenny was helpful as he could be, but obviously his hands are tied. I cancelled the unit, i was refunded a portion of my money but not the service fee, even though i never moved into the unit. I was then told i would receive a call from someone to discuss the matter, at I still haven't received a call. So at the end of the day i am out the $30 even though i never moved in. I will never use an extra space storage facility knowing this is how business is done.UPDATE 10/7/22What a joke, spoke to three different people today in regards to this issue, all three people gave me 3 different answers. Basically the last thing said was that the fee is non refundable. Even though i never moved into the unit. Lesson learned, I will never rent a unit from extra space ever again, and i will make sure to spread the word of this poor business tactic that they employ to make money. WHAT A Scam!!
E Street Self Storage

Avoid if you want your stuff dry and not stolen.I understand accidents happen, but this company has inconvenienced us, lied to us, and been absolutely awful to work with regarding insurance.First we had to move our entire unit to a different unit because the roof was leaking. I asked for a discount due to the inconvenience (we were up late the night before a cross-country move, with my toddler children up past bedtime screaming in my car for hours because I couldnt get a sitter.) Was told they couldnt comp anything without an insurance claim. Fine, Im understanding, we moved on. Then a week or two after we left the state, we were told that our units latch was damaged from someone running into it with equipment. There was nothing we could do from out of state. When we returned, the latch had obviously been cut and our unit was destroyed and all our valuables stolen. Again, not their fault but anyone could tell the latch was cut and they never disclosed that so we could file a police report. They also apparently have no video surveillance of indoor storage areas. Of course, even if they do, how would I know to ask them to review it since they didnt report an obvious break-in to me? Finally, we have been waiting on our insurance check for the stolen items to be mailed for months now. This experience has been a disaster, and Ill never get my sentimental guitar back. I wish I had never heard of this place. Its really clean though
