Had a terrible experience with Road Bear and feel very taken advantage of..Would definitely not recommend Road Bear San Leandro .Biggest collection of gangsters I would describe them as.On collection of the Vehicle everything seemed formal and professional, experience soon changed when we realised the Rv had many issues that had never been brought to our attention.Trip itinerary involved going south to LA and as far as Palm Springs for a birthday celebration but soon changed when the it was discovered the sewage tank has had a hole in it and there also had been a sort of cheap cowboy attempt at repairing it on the DL.We know this because we brought it to a Rv mechanic near us in the hope gaining of a bit of advice.When we eventually got in touch with their non existent customer service they requested we bring the vehicle to a service centre of theirs miles out of our way.This resulted in us cancelling plans.Vehicle smell was getting worse so we obliged . Had to book into a hotel for a few nights till Van got replaced. (No reimbursement)All this I could accept or at least get around until it came time to return the Rv. Immediately on arrival in the gate there was this sense of try and catch us out demeanour about them . The Road Bear Representative who had been very nice and formal turned into a different person altogether .They quickly drafted up a contract and had no intention on telling us that we were not getting our deposit back.At that point was very tired Uber was our side and had our flight to get so had to leave. Will be disputing our contract with them. Very disapointed

I have two U-Haul stores closer to my residence, but keep coming back here because of the great service. With the exception of the young man who hold up the trailers, I have had different employees assist me each time, and each experience has been smooth and hassle free. The trailer guy has gone above and beyond to make sure that the right is hooked up properly, and actually asked me to wait while he sources s better electrical connector. Someone else would have sent me it without the extra effort.You may come here for your rental needs, but as far as I am concerned, this is MY store ?!!!

Customer Service chatI stayed in this hotel one day under a one night reservation and then asked to extend it another day, at the end of my trip when checking out I asked about the security deposit which was charged twice one for each day because I chose to extend it,, which was fine.. but when asking about its refund I was told to hold tight a minute while the room was checked.....please note I had the room half way cleaned the first day, because I needed back in it I asked that they just change the bedding and leave clean towels, the maid did so quickly and I gave her a tip, nothing was said along the lines of any other cleaning. And they did not vacuum or clean anything else which I was OK with because the room was clean.after waiting for a maid to look over the room, I was told I would see the deposit or charge for incidentals back into my account, simply that it may take a day or two to show in my account, totally fine with me and Normal. So I was assuming I would see a refund for $200. However,much to my DiaDismay, 3 days later a $247.00 charge hits my account. No refund for the $100 (x2 for two nights) ever showed. Called hotel assuming it was a simple mistake. Which was not an easy task in itself, took me numerous inquiry calls, on the 4th one almost 2 full weeks after the stay, I asked for a management employee and was shocked to hear them tell me They charged my room a deep cleaning fee no other explanation at all, so I had to again wait for another manager to get back to me with any kind of actual info on this, when I do they said my room needed carpets shampood and deep cleaned because of its condition it was bad enough that they couldnt rent it out that day I checked out so they charged me what they lost out on the room (the rooms are not over 200 a night!) Now, dont get me wrong The carpets being clean is important yes, but should not have been done on my dime! I was walking around barefoot, my room was clean. I dont do anything but sleep and shower in hotels, I stay in numerous a month, and have never experienced this, I clean the room up for the maids before I check out and am a respectful guest, 90% of the time I am alone. Im not some teen having a party or a slob. I dont agree with this hotels choice and its actually insulting and obserd really. They didnt need to shampoo carpets or do anything out of the normal and if they did its because it was part of Normal room maintenance and shouldnt be at my expense because they decided to do it after my stay, I feel used, insulted and lied to, and have already put much more time then I have to deal with this. The staff has been rude, snappy and unhelpful. Very disappointed as this was not my first stay, Ive stayed here numerous times in the past, but with the staff changes apparently customer service is no longer a priority. I have been ripped off to put it plain and its not OK!

First off the staff at this place. They are not only down to earth, but also very accountable, very lenient, very friendly, and cool as eff. They are always willing to work with you, work with your schedule, work with your timeline, and willing to work around your schedule to accommodate your needs. Their prices are very reasonable and theyre almost always willing to work something out with you if you have a pay issue. Overall I believe their staff alone makes this place five stars.They also have a moving truck at your disposal if you need your furniture moved from your place to there or there to your place. Obviously there is a charge for that, and I dont know the rates because Ive never used that moving truck other than using it when I moved in which was free at that time which was 2 years back approximately.Now this place is a gated storage facility. You have the option to have your storage inside the building or outside. The price is depend on obviously the size and width of your storage also the price also depends whether if you wanted inside the building or out. And theyre always willing to show you the unit but taking a quick tour in their golf cart. It may not be grand and luxurious but for the price that you pay per month, it fits right in your budget, well for me anyways. I just hope they dont go out of business because I dont want to pay high prices for different storage facility where this place offers the same for low prices. So if you need a storage unit I do recommend this place.

As you can see below I was initially very upset with my experience. I received a phone call from the manager of this location and he was very understanding of my frustration. The manager took the time to explain to me that it was not the front desk representative fault that I was offered the wrong oil which was very understandable. The manager offered his sincerest apologies and even offered to replace my hub cap to my vehicle. I was informed that the staff at this location has been properly trained on what to do when a situation like mine comes about. I would like to thank the manager for resolving my issue in a timely and professional matter. I do understand that mistakes happen and I am willing to give a good company a second chance!!!!If I could give 0 stars I would.FIRT IT STARTED GREAT. I CALLED TO SEE IF I COULD DROP MU CAR OFF FOR AN OIL CHANGE I GET THERE THEY TAKE MY INFO AND GIVE ME THE SHEET OF PAPER WITH A QUOTE OF $29.99 mind you I had already asked the rep how much it would be when I called knowing my car can only take synthetic oil I know the price is higher than the tycal $30.00. I asked the woman at the desk is this price correct for synthetic oil of course she says no . SO IM THINKING IF I WOULD HAVE NOT CAUGHT THIS THEY WOULD HAVE USED THE WRONG OIL AND POTENTIALLY RUINED MY ENGINE. I LEAVE COME BACK PAY AND BY THE TIME I STOP LITERALLY 3 BLOCKS AWAY I NOTICE MY HUB CAPS ARE MISSING OFF OF MY TIRES. IMMEDIATELY I KNOW THEY WERE NOT PUT BACK ON CORRECTLY BY GOOD YEAR WHEN THEY INSPECTED MY BREAKS AND HAD FALLED OFF. I THEN DRIVE BACK DOWN THE STRRET LOOKING FOR MY CAPS DIDNT SEE THEM SO I PULL UP BACK TO GOODYEAR. I WALK IN AND TELL THE WOMAN AT THE DESK ABOUT THE CAPS AND THE GUY NEXT TO HER AT THE DESK SAYS LOOKING FOR YOUR HUB CAPS THEY ARE ACCROSS THE STREET NEAR THE SIDEWALK. AT THIS TIME IM PISTTT BECAUSE OBVIOULSY YOU KNEW THEY CAME OFF AND WERENT PUT BACK ON CORRECTLY BUT DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL AND INFORM ME THEY DID NOT OFFER TO GO GET THEM I HAD TO WALK ACCROSS TRAFFIC TO GET MY CAPS AND ASK THEM TO PUT THEM BACK ON. TURNS OUT THEY BROKE THEM AND TELL ME BECAUSE THEY ARE OLD THEY WONT STAY ON PRPOPERLY THE REP SHOWED ME HOW LOOSE ONE WAS WHEN HE ATTEMPETED TO PUT IT BACK ON MY RESPONSE WAS WELL IT NEVER CAME OFF BEFORE SO OBVIOUSLY YOU GUYS BROKED IT AND COULD HAVE SIMPLY TOLD ME NOT TO PUT THEM BACK ON INSTEAD OF JUST DOING IT ANYWAY KNOWING THEY WOULD FALL OFF AS SOON AS I STARED DRIVING ONE REP OFFERED TO PUT ZIP TIES ON THEM VERY UPSETING AND HORRIBLE CUST SERVICE

Your San Francisco (San Leandro, CA) terminal is a lousy joke and no one there can do their job correctly. I would assume when your terminal receives the truck load from the original location, if the BOL supposedly has a call to schedule appointment noted, wouldnt you think itll be the right thing to do is to have someone call the consignee to set that up? Your dispatcher/worker sure as hell does not from this location. I called Friday to ask for delivery time with disclosing my PRO #, the customer service rep sounded confused and said I never setup an appointment. Funny, I never had to setup an appointment, ALL of my shipments have time crucial so it would go out ASAP. The CS said she will remove the appointment needed and itll go out on Monday. Monday comes around, no shipment again. I called and the person said the same thing, the shipment needed an appointment. I asked why do I need to setup an appointment when it has been there since Friday and NO ONE has called me? This is unacceptable and ESTES is at fault. Within the past few months to year, my company has received 50-60 pallets from you guys, NONE required an appointment, and all of a sudden the one pallet STILL at your guys terminal does, but no one has the audacity to call us to schedule said appointment. By the way, thank you for regularly sending the wrong size truck (or truck without lift gate) to my facility, despite the BOL always being correct 100% saying liftgate and 27 or less is needed for delivery to this address. You guys just lost another customer as I have told the shipper to not use you guys anymore.
