U-Haul Moving & Storage at Anaheim Blvd
626 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805, United States
Had to get road side assistance. I explained that I was in an area that had very poor reception so I made sure to give my exact location and reminded them they I might now get a call if they tried to reach me if they were to call before showing up. I told the dispatcher that I was also not in much of a hurry so we scheduled a service provider to show up at 8am. The driver apparently tried to reach me then didnt show up cause I wasnt contacted. So I had to call roadside and have someone else dispatched to my location. This required me going to a place that was not close to where I needed to be for the day to make the call. Again I was told someone would come out. Finally I got someone to check the trailer out and ultimately tow it away with the understanding that Id be getting one returned. Later I received a call from the person who picked up that trailer who I formed me that he would only be dropping the trailer off and was told that I would have to drive more than an hour from where I was spending the weekend with friends and family to sign a new contract and get a different to pull back with me. I spent the next 6 hours dealing with dropped calls, being transfered all over, and missing out on time with my family and friends because I had to stay in a spot when I had phone service. Now dealing with a battery on my phone that was about to die Im sitting there waiting for a call back to confirm a trailer being delivered to my location would be successfully dropped off. Since there were no trailers in the area that fit my needs and U-Hauls availability I had to settle for a smaller trailer when meant I had to then load a lot more things in the bed of my truck than I wanted to in order to feel safe. Lastly after I finally drop the trailer off I then get a call from the dealership asking me where their trailer was. Contact your roadside team. This completely ruined my planned vacation and turned the majority of my time into work. I want my time back. I want my money back. This entire experience was terrible.

Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot
1095 Pullman St, Anaheim, CA 92807, United States
I really liked the experience of renting equipment. I found out there are more options for the same equipment than than advertised online via home Depot online. The store has all the equipment organized to make tools easy to find.I rented a cordless hedge trimmer and was worried about status of the battery charge. Michael L. (staff) informed me that all batteries are charged prior to rentals. I was quite pleased with condition of the equipment and relieved the battery life never was an issue. The only draw back was there seemed to be no proration on the rental fees. I only need the equipment for an hour and was told by the staff they would prorate the fee. Unfortunately, I was not give the prorated charge of use of only an 1 hr 16min. The minimum rental fee is 4 hrs. Service was helpful and friendly.

Anaheim Postal Place
532 N Magnolia Ave Suite 2068, Anaheim, CA 92801, United States
I go here quite often to fax, print or make copies. I usually deal with the owner. Hes a quiet man & some might say rude...I guess I choose to view his personality in a different way! The owner has always been very kind to me & has always treated me with respect. There has been a couple occassions where Ive been in to fax or to make copies for urgent matters & didnt have the exact dollar amount to pay. Both these times the owner either put in the money for me or he just overlooked it and said not to worry about it. To me, thats a man with a kind heart despite everyone elses bad comments! The owner went out of his way to accomadate me when he didnt have to. Im a true believer of treating others the way youd like to be treated! I will continue to use this location for all my postal needs and despite the bad reviews Ive had nothing but help from this place!

Javier Misiego - State Farm Insurance Agent
1661 Raymond Ave Ste 102, Anaheim, CA 92801, United States
Like all Californians, we are hyper focused on our insurance and the uncertainties it brings. Here in SoCal you can find yourself literally priced out of protecting yourself, family and your high value assets. Oh you may bounce around chasing that golden egg every year or so, switching companies and policies for that ever so slight discount…but at what cost, what true cost to you? Its true that the insurance industry is very competitive, but what you discover is that yes you may attain that shimmering egg that's cheaper, but in fact the egg is smaller than what you had before. Your coverage continues to decline as they promise you that lower rate. Its all well and good until you need it. Then you become aware that your deductible is in the stratosphere, if you are even covered at all. This is how we found Javier. We first had Geico years if not decades ago. We were never involved in a claim, but when we had questions about changing our policy the phone would only work in one direction. As we got older we switched to Allstate and it was meh at best. It was insanely expensive and their customer service was pitiful. They seemed more proud that they could pronounce my last name than give me a decent quote that I didn't feel gouged over. Even after a solid decade of maximum coverage with not a single claim filed, we were treated with indifference. So we went to Farmers to see if in fact the grass was greener. Safe to say, the customer service was actually worse. They were always “out of the office at the moment”, emails went unanswered and left voicemails were never returned promptly or if at all. A quick Google search brought up Javier at State Farm with his over 200 5 star reviews. Honest to God, I can't believe that over 200 people felt compelled to write a review over his service. As comparison, my Allstate guy has 11, my Farmers agent had 4 total reviews. After an afternoon phone call to get the ball rolling it was evident why he earned that amount of 5 stars. He was engaging, personable and extremely quick to give us a stellar quote. His initial quote was $1200 cheaper a year with more coverage and lower deductible than we have ever had with 18 years of living in California. We even inquired about playing with the numbers to see if we could go even lower without sacrificing coverage. He was understanding and quickly responded with comparison pricing. We ended up taking his initial quote with the full coverage cause it just made sense in every form and fashion.Javier personally walked us through the entire process. He notified Farmers to cancel our current coverage on our behalf and we were fully insured with him within two weeks of the first phone call, all the while he was updating us on our three cars and various home and personal policies were being finalized. It really just boils down to this simple fact. You need insurance, you're going to get insurance, isn't it better to work with someone that treats and respects you like his family? I don't know about you, but when bad luck forces me to file a claim, I'd rather have an insurance agent on the other end of the line that honestly cares about me and my family. Thank you so much Javier!!

Anaheim Hills Auto Body
3500 E La Palma Ave, Anaheim Hills, CA 92806, United States
Repair shops and insurance are usually a pain to deal with. This place honestly surprised me in a very good way.My adjuster was being a pain since I could never reach her, so I was already not too happy with my car situation.I brought my car into this shop due to its proximity to my home and was pleasantly treated throughout the whole process:-My calls were always picked up pretty fast, I had no issues waiting or reaching voice mails. The receptionist, (didnt get her name) always took my messages or did her best effort to reach out the person handling my case asap, even if he was busy.-Francisco J, was the person in charge of my car and was spectacular when doing his job. He explained every single thing he would do to my car and gave me realistic timelines as to how long it would take and which steps depended on other people. The minute he found something else wrong with my car, he called and explained the extra parts, costs, and process that would be required. In my particular case, he had to get approval for one extra part and I was really expecting the worst since my Adjuster was not reachable; however, Francisco got a quick hold of her and got the approval on a very timely manner.-The car was delivered to me one day after the estimated completion, and that not a problem due to the transparent communication. It was very clean (just washed) and the pieces and paint job were done perfectly.-Also, I needed a rental car and this shop manages to coordinate perfectly with the car rental so that you get picked up and even return the car in their premises. It really is an experience where you dont have to worry at all.In summary: Staff is courteous and fast; the actual repairs were done incredibly well and in a reasonable time. The shop looks professional.

Caliber Collision
2541 W La Palma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801, United States
Have you ever felt like you were getting screwed over, but helpless to stop it? That was my interaction with Caliber. Ill start with the good points: 1. The manager was helpful after I expressed my frustrations. 2. I think the car repair was pretty well doneI got in an accident at the beginning of November, got my car in maybe a week or two before Thanksgiving. I actually had them pre-order parts (only for the visible parts) ahead of time so I could cut on time in the shop. Insurance only covers rental for 20 days and after that its out of pocket. Well my estimator, Isaac, told me at one point that he was sick for a week and so my car wasnt even being worked on. (Remember, only max 20 days covered, then Im screwed). There were some internal damage that they needed to order parts for so it took longer. I knew it wouldnt be finished before the holidays and it could take longer because of that. However, they told me they would be finished with my car by Jan. 5th. Cool. At this point, my estimator switched from Isaac to Jason (when? I dont know. this was not communicated to me.) and Jason is just... the worst at communication. I got a text saying my car would be ready for pickup on Jan. 5th Friday afternoon. I called around 3pm that day since I didnt receive any further notice. Jason told me that the technician lost a part of my car and discovered it during the reassembly stage and they would need to re-order the part asap. He didnt have a timeline for me and that hed call me on Monday. The way he talked, I felt like I was inconveniencing him and he was almost.. annoyed by my call.Ok... well Monday rolls around. I have a dinner appointment by 4:30pm in LA that I couldnt miss. No contact by 1pm so I called them. Jason told me that itll be ready by 4pm, but since I had to be in LA I told him Id pick it up on Tuesday. He said ok, itll be ready by then. REMEMBER, he said ok. Well Tuesday rolls around and I return my rental & get to Caliber right before it closes, rushing down from LA (cutting my business day early). Then the lady at the front desk tells me that my car isnt ready. Excuse me? Apparently, they didnt finish the re-assembly and I couldnt pick up my car that day. I was furious to say the least... You had all day to let me know my car wasnt ready. This is the second day I cleared my afternoon/evening to pick up the car.. the second time Im waiting around for some form of communication. At this point the GM steps in and apologizes. He has one of the employees take me home and sets me up with a rental car (I didnt have the energy to tell him this should have been done since Friday since thats when it was the start of their problem). The next morning Jason calls me to apologize and to let me know THAT MY CAR IS GOING TO BE READY BY THIS AFTERNOON. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I dont believe him, but I also make sure my afternoon is flexible still just in case. Well, 3pm rolls around and I get a call from him informing me that my car isnt ready by today. At this point Im fed up and tell him to stop calling me unless my car is finished and ready to be picked up. He replied, Well, I just wanted to let you know so the same mistake doesnt happen again. No. You know whats a mistake? Constantly telling me my car is going to be ready and then letting me know at the end of the day that its not. I started to see him as untrustworthyI texted the GM asking that I no longer interact with Jason and the GM said hell take over. Jason shouldnt have been allowed to continue in the first placeWhen picking up my car, I find out that there was no internal damage, just external damage to the inside part of my car. I wouldnt have been suspicious if it wasnt for everything else which eroded my trust in themI start leaving the facility and wouldnt you know it, they didnt even refill my gas (I came in with a full tank and Isaac made a note of the gas during the initial inspection) and I left with only 3/4 gas. They took 1/4 gas and didnt fill up.

One Stop Mobility
1520 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
My husband and I have returned from Disneyland with our daughters family and our grandchildren and I just have to say that One Stop Mobility saved the day!! My husband probably will be needing a hip replacement. HIs pain had come on rather quickly and we had this vacation to Disneyland planned for a long time. He had decided to still go but if he was in pain, he would return to the Disneyland Hotel. After arriving at the Disneyland Hotel the first evening and walking Downtown Disney to dinner, he had significant enough pain to have to sit down twice before making it back to the hotel. Even though he said he would never use a scooter, I promptly called One Stop Mobility as soon as we arrived back in the room. I called almost as they closed on a Sunday. The employee was very nice and I asked her how soon we could get the scooter, seeing that we would only be there for a couple of days. She said to call at 8:00 the next morning. She took my credit card info and sent me a link for the contract. Easy! I did just that and the scooter was delivered to the hotel at approx. 8:30. The scooter allowed my husband to participate in the long, hot, trek that is Disneyland for grandparents, but we wouldnt have missed it for the world. One Stop Mobility allowed him to participate fully on each day. He is very grateful. When it was time to pick up, the employee was very sweet and stayed a bit later to pick it up since we were in the middle of a birthday celebration. The rental from One Stop Mobility was easy, seamless, affordable, and the employees were very nice and accommodating. Thank you for saving our trip to Disneyland with our grandchildren!!

Fairfield Anaheim Resort
1460 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
We stayed for 3 nights Oct. 17th, 18th, & 19th. We were on the 5th floor and had a great experience. The staff were very polite our entire visit. It is very close to the Disney park entrance, maybe a 7 minute walk to the stoplight and we felt very safe. We were very happy with the location. Our room was very nice and clean with laminate floors that had just been washed (nice because we could see the floor was clean vs. carpeted floors), quality linens, and plenty of towels. Most importantly, the bed was absolutely wonderful. We loved it!I dont know what mattresses they use, but it was firm, yet soft enough that you didnt feel like you were sleeping on a board, but also, neither of us spent the night rolling back and forth. Literally, we were nestled into bed. We loved it and want that mattress for our queen bed at home! And the hotel was quiet! We didnt hear noise at all.Our next happy surprise was the shower head! Holy cow, if you want a good shower this shower head most certainly didnt scrimp on the water. The flow was amazing, the water pressure was great, the hot water was plentiful! There was also an ice machine in the corridor which somehow was always full and we filled our water bottles with ice before and after Disney. In addition, the lobby kept ice water to fill your bottles with water or to get a quick drink if needed. They also have a beautiful gift shop in the lobby which had all kinds of cute souvenirs and things you may need during your stay like snacks or forgotten toiletries. There was a Panera and McDonalds flanking the hotel parking lot and a Mimis Cafe very close by.There were only two things we would say were somewhat lackluster but not at all dealbreakers for us. #1. If you have a serious knee or hip problem, the toilets were a bit lower to the ground. I was recovering from a pretty serious knee injury and noticed this right away. It doesnt change my 5 star rating in the least, just something to note.#2. They do have a nice, clean pool area. Its a pool. Its rectangular and plain but very clean with nice seating. Its fine if you just need a place to swim or decompress, or, if you are traveling with kids that you are planning on taking to Disney parks and just need to have a place to give them some additional recreation or cooling off.I will say that if you are traveling with kids and maybe grandparents who would be watching them while you adults head over to the Disney parks, you may want to consider staying at the hotel next door which is the Courtyard Marriott.I only say this because our room was on the side that faced their water playground and I can say the Courtyard Marriott pool is meant for kids and serious water playtime. Its a pool and playground in one, with slides, water spouts, and all the bells and whistles you can think of for kids.I called my daughter and said if she ever goes to Disney with her young kids, well fly in and babysit them at the pool while she and her hubby go enjoy some fun without the kids. Just something to think about. For us, we spent so much time at the parks from morning until late at night that the pool was only something we walked by.For us, if we travelled to Disney again, we would be very happy to stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort. It was a great start to our 14 day California vacation!

The Paramount Platinum Triangle
1781 S Campton Ave, Anaheim, CA 92805, United States
I woke up this morning, opened my blind to find 3 fresh cigarette butts on my awning, thrown over the side from the apartment above me. What made me become so agitated was the proximity of my patio furniture from the cigarette butts. if a fire is started on my patio from someone throwing still lit cigarette butts onto my furniture, guess who is left trying to defend themselves from a possible lawsuit? Jefferson Platinum Triangle has a strict policy regarding smoking on the property and claims it will be enforced. Im not sure who is enforcing anything on this property because theyre are smokers everywhere on this property smoking, on their balconies and outside my window on the sidewalk, at all hours of the day and night. The hallways, stairways, and elevators consistently smell like cigarette or marijuana smoke. Multiple times I have complained to management about the guy above me stomping around the house from 2am and throughout. I had to go and speak to him about it myself. Thats not my job. I am a TENANT. Thats what is states in the lease. I literately must run the A/C at night just to drown out the noise. I now must spend extra on the electric bill because of this guy. Talked to the leasing office, multiple times, and they said they would call him. Nothing changed. Talked to the office again. They said they talked to him, but hate calling him because hes mean and rude? Talked with Elaine, Raline, Sasha, and the Office Mgr. James. More waking up in the middle of the night from this constant ruckus going on above me. Was told he has been warned and will be evicted if it continues to persist. Showed James video of water pouring onto my balcony and patio furniture, from the upstairs apartment like it was raining more than once. Went to the office again on May 1st, 2018 and was given the number to on-property security. I was told to call them, and they would handle it. I did, and Im still running the A/C at night. There are some minor things that you would think maintenance personnel could easily fix, but its been well over a month for the door on the trash chute, located on the 2nd floor to be fixed? Some people just drop their trash outside the chute. How hard can the handle be to fix? Its like they would rather pay the salaried cleaning crew to take out the trash versus calling in someone to fix it. On the second floor of my building, there are multiple doorbells that are lit, and others that are not. The cover of an emergency strobe light has been broken off and not replaced for months now. Had to put in a work-order to get the shower handle replaced because of a defective seal. Bear in mind, this is a brand new and never lived in apartment. So, in comes the maintenance, takes things apart, cant fix or put it back together, and gets grease all over my brand-new bath rugs. They had to call in a plumber. Plumber gets here, determines he will need to come back the next day. Plumber returns the next day, fixes the issue. This takes about month ladies and gentlemen, from beginning to end. Thats from work-order request to final repair. In short, was told by Sasha Id receive a $75.00 gift card for the damage. That was in January of 2018, its now May 25, 2018, and still no gift card. Whats interesting are the number of renters here listing their apartments on AirBnB. We are not allowed to sublease our apartments out, which it states in the lease, people are still doing it, and Jefferson Platinum Triangle Management turns a blind eye to it. This becomes a problem when AirBnB renters do not actually know what the terms of the lease are. Its not that uncommon to see different out-of-state plated vehicles without the JPT parking sticker, in the same designated TENANT parking spot. Its not really their fault. They think they are at a hotel on a Disney Vacation, and just booked an apartment for a great deal. No one should have to go through these ordeals. Jefferson Platinum is one, if not, the highest rent in this area. There are brand new apartments being built around Jefferson Platinum, with much cheaper rents.
