They do their rentals remotely on the weekend. Their app does not work properly. They immediately charge your card, but after loading and reloading our information into their app, we still can not get the truck released. Have been at it now for an hour and 45 minutes and no success. The people on the phone can not help as they say they have no ability to interface with the app. They refer you to utube video links that are no help. . We need the truck and they have taken our money. Never rent from these people, the last time we called they hung up saying they can't help.
Rent-It Truck Rentals Simi Valley
(Easy and, E Easy St, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
I rented a truck to move a piano and with the liftgate the move went easy and quick. Pricing was competitive until I realized I was hit for a deposit that was 6x more than the final rental price. And this deposit didnt clear until 6 days later. Good trucks, terrible business practices.

Koning Insurance agency
45 W Easy St Ste 8, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
Josh Koning at Farmers has been fabulous to work with over the past several years. We have a few policies through Josh and whenever someone is looking for referrals for an agent I always recommend Josh. He is prompt to reply and never makes me feel bad when I call with questions or to assist me while I was overseas making policy payments. Truly top notch customer service, super friendly, always upbeat and willing to help however he can. If he doesn't have an immediate answer he always gets back to me in less than 24 hours which is so appreciated when it comes to insurance. He has a variety of options available and always finds the best pricing while making sure all of my bases are covered. He is very thorough, patient, and extremely professional. Can't recommend Josh and Tim enough! Thank you for everything!
Rancho Simi Insurance Agency
1611 E Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
I am pleased to call Rancho Insurance my insurance company for 15 years now. I've been dealing with Beverly Bramson for the last four months regarding my 20 year old college student being taken off our insurance and then putting her back on. Because our circumstances have changed back a forth (like 5 times, take her off; no wait put her back on). She was courteous, calm and professional throughout the entire process. If it was me, I think there would've been somewhat frustration that this customer couldn't make up their minds. To top it off, I was on a lot of vacations this summer, so I would have her send me emails of reminders and every time she completed these enormous emails promptly and never gave me an attitude that I was inconveniencing her. This is refreshing! Thank you Beverly and Rancho Insurance. Kathy Marquette
CARSTAR City Auto Body
2150 Agate Ct, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
I am so pleased with the two separate repairs on my 2008 Highlander. One repair was to replace and paint the lift gate which looks good as new now after the work was done. The other repair was to repaint my hood that had become pitted causing the paint to start chipping off. One local shop highly recommeded to have the fenders repainted to color match the hood to the fenders. Anthony at CarStar City Auto Body said yes the factory paint is from 2008 and wont be the same as a new paint job today but will be very close. CarStar City Auto Bodys cost was about a third of what the other shop quoted. So I elected to just have just the hood sanded and repainted. (Not the fenders.)When I picked up my car I was thinking the worst...but was so impressed with the hood especially the color match to the fenders (that were not repainted). I see no difference in the paint on the hood and fenders. And to top off the repairs, they detailed my car. I keep my car relatively clean inside but it looks like the inside was detailed too. The added cool bottle of water left inside was a refreshing touch on a very hot summer day.
WM - Simi Valley Transfer Station
2801 Madera Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
Until this last move, Ive always had a positive experience w/ WM. I cannot say that anymore. I signed up for service again w/ WM after my last move about a week and a half ago. They said the earliest they could have waste containers to my house was in 7 days. 7 days later and a weeks worth of trash after a move, I still have yet to receive the waste containers. I called the following Monday hoping the containers would be delivered that day. They were not. It is now Tuesday and Im not all that sanguine that I will be receiving my waste containers today. Number of questions. 1. Why even take the containers at all from the house after people move out? The next occupant has no choice but to sign up since WM is the only refuse removal in the city. 2. After missing the initial drop off why not make the extra effort to get containers to the resident immediately. If my containers are not delivered today, I have half a mind to take the immense amount of trash in my garage and drop it off in front of my WMs local office.Follow up: After calling them today, they said they had been delivered yesterday. I assured them they were not and then they said that theyd be delivered tomorrow which is Wednesday. I talked to a supervisor named Leslie who told me they do not have inventory to deliver today. So either I was being lied to previously, or Leslie is lying to me now. Am I to believe that there is not a single bin they can deliver to my house to remedy the situation.
First Kia Simi Valley
2081 First St, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
*DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE AND IF YOU CAN HELP IT, DO NOT BUY A KIA*If I could give negative stars I would.TL;DR: My mom serviced her car here, received it with missing paint. Doug and his manager, Guy gave us awful customer service. Still not resolved and we are frustrated.I took my mom to get her 2013 Kia Sorento (~64,000 miles) serviced in the afternoon of Feb 21. Her car was to have an oil change, brakes replaced and tire rotation. Doug Mcintosh was our service attendant and seemed nice enough. His pre-inspection check consisted of him walking around the car. He didnt point out anything out of the ordinary. He said to be back in a few hours and we did. We went to watch a movie to escape the rain while we waited. It wasnt until the next day that we noticed that the A pillar of the windshield was completely missing about a foot long piece of paint. I immediately called Doug and he said he had noted the missing paint during pre-inspection and that he would send me a copy of that paperwork. He never did. My mom spoke to the service manager, Guy. Over the phone, Guy claimed that the car was like that before the service and had pictures to prove it.Meanwhile, I called Doug and he claimed that peeling paint is COMMON on Kias and that he didnt know how the paint just went missing. He literally told me that maybe someone spilled acid on my moms car! What?!!! Lol! I asked him if they used a pressure hose on the vehicle to wash it. If they used too much pressure then its a plausible reason for the missing paint. He said the car wasnt washed and that he didnt authorize any wash. I know for a fact that the car was washed because it had been raining that day and the streaks from the windshield wipers were gone. It was at this point that said he was new to the business and if the car was washed, he didnt know what kind of hose they had in the back. Finally, he said he didnt want to get in the middle of everything and that my mom was already talking with Guy and that it was out of his hands. So back to Guy... when my mom went to meet him, he apparently didnt have any pictures after all. He couldnt supply us with ANY proof that the car was already missing this paint before the service. He said that he had left a voice message to a male (me) on Tuesday, Feb 19 to tell me about the missing paint. I never spoke to Guy. I never received a message from Guy. Since, of course, the car was serviced on THURSDAY, Feb 21 and at that time Kia didnt have my phone number! Oh, did I also mention I was out of the state on Tuesday?!! For completeness, I did give Doug my phone number for that service paperwork he never gave me.At this point my mom was frustrated and left. I called Guy myself on Friday, Feb 22, asking him to call me to talk about all this. No response, so I left him a message. I called again on Saturday, Feb 23. No response again and another message. It is clear that the service department at Kia does not want to claim responsibility, but whats even worse is their customer service. As I reflect on our experience here, I have had other vehicles serviced at Toyota and Chrysler dealerships and during pre-inspection Im always told of the damage thats on my car prior to service. Furthermore, I expected at least a phone call from their service manager to least discuss the situation. Every contact weve had with this dealership about this issue has been awful. If Doug and Guy are representative of the entire staff at this Kia then I can only conclude that this Kia dealership is inept, doesnt care about their customers, and flat out likes to cover up their mistakes. My mom has had a Kia for the better part of 12 years, after this experience I am doubtful her next car will be a Kia.
The Home Depot

DELIVERY PROCESS NEEDS REVAMPINGI was supposed to have a refrigerator delivered last Tuesday. I called around noon to report that I had not received any notification about the delivery. The person I spoke to looked up my info and told me it was in transit and should be delivered by 8:00 PM.At 8:00 PM no delivery had been made. I called and spoke to a different person who told me there was a glitch in the system and my refrigerator was supposed to be on the box truck but that did not happen. She said she would try to get my delivery scheduled for the following Tuesday, today.Yesterday I called to make sure it would be delivered today. Nobody could tell me. Late in the evening a nice man called and told me it was supposed to have been delivered last week, but something happened. He didnt know what happened,, but he would try to locate my refrigerator and get it on the truck for the following day. He suggested I call back in the morning.I just called, at 9:30AM. I was told THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW IF MY REFRIGERATOR IS GOING TO BE DELIVERED TODAY. Apparently a box truck comes whenever it feels like, takes some delivery items and leaves. NO ONE IN THE STORE KNOWS WHAT IS ON THE TRUCK.This is beyond ridiculous. Im supposed to spend another day waiting for an item that may or may not be delivered and NO ONE AT HOME DEPOT CAN TELL ME. BTW, the delivery window is 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.Cmon---- you should be better than this!!UPDATEA male called me to verify my address for delivery. He told me that they would not bring the refrigerator into the house. I told them Home Depot had said that the refrigerator would be brought over the threshold into the first room. He asked if there were stairs. I told him two steps as I was on a raised foundation. When they arrived, he told me they would leave the refrigerator at the bottom of my front porch steps. I told them Home Depot said they would bring it inside. He told me that he didnt work for Home Depot and that Home Depot shouldnt tell people we are going to do things we arent going to do. He said they couldnt bring it up the two steps because the dolley was broken. I said, you should have a dolley that works. He replied, We should but we dont, in a really snarky tone. I had a guy at my house doing some painting. He got his hammer and helped them repair their dolley. They literally crossed the threshold then took the refrigerator off the dolley. I think they only put it back on the dolley and moved it further into the house when they realized they had blocked their exit.To top it off, the refrigerator had 3 dents and a huge scratch. I was pleased with the original price but its not worth the aggravation. I am returning the dang refrigerator. Ugh.I kind of like Home Depot--- I have spent a ton of money I the last few weeks. But they have GOT to get this subcontractor delivery thing under control. ?
