Discount Rental Car Burbank-
10852 Burbank Blvd A, Burbank, CA 91601, United States
I felt very mislead by my interactions with this company. I made a reservation for a car online, and when I called to confirm, the man on the line insisted that the rate online was wrong and it was actually some other rate. The rate still seemed reasonable, and the website had been fairly professional, so I still went through with the reservation. When I showed up for the pick up, I was shocked by the state of the office in comparison to their website. I had gotten the impression that the process would be more like renting a car from a larger dealership, but this was far more casual. I was given a single key to the one car they seemed to have on the lot. It was well over 20 years old and the odometer was broken at 299,999. The car had hand crank windows but decent AC. However when I turned the car on the check engine light was on, as was the light indicating that the driver side airbag was not functional. I confirmed these lights with the office, and was told it was just the lights, nothing was actually wrong. The car drove well, but left a large puddle of oil behind when parked. All together, I was very frustrated with the interactions I had with this company and I felt very tricked and misled by their website.EDIT: This business must have only recently seen my review, because I am now receiving calls from them. They have called me 4 times today. They sent me a text just saying to call them. When they called a third time, I answered because I was very confused why they would be calling me now. I asked if he was trying to harass me to change or remove my review, which he denied, but he called again even after I hung up. This is aggressive and the wrong way to handle business reviews you dont like. This gives you no grounds to harass me for accurately describing my experience with you.
Zeeba Vans
2500 N Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505, United States
My family needed a van to travel over the holidays and none of the offerings from the regular commercial car rental agencies were able to guarantee what type of van I would get or what price. Furthermore, it seemed that I would have to get to the airport to pick up a van from the rental agencies. I googled around and found Zeeba. I was weary of the recent reviews but the price was great and I knew Id be getting something other than a Dodge Caravan, which has a lower safety rating than the average van.Our Zeeba experience was great from start to finish. The van was top of the line and in tip top shape. The communication with the agents was excellent. Lauren and Niko were clear with their instructions and accommodating to our late night pick up and return schedules. I look forward to renting with them again.
Trailer Rental at U-Haul
7721 N Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505, United States
I appreciated that I could drop off my uhaul early and not be charged an extra day I did not need. It was cheaper than they quoted! The 15 ft truck did not burn as much gas as I thought it would and it's pretty easy to drive as a female. Only thing I didn't like about driving the uhaul truck is that it has no backup camera and it's a complete blind spot directly behind the truck. Also remember to grab a dolly or whatever you ordered because the staff didn't remember to give it to me and I had to come back to the location to pick up. Great experience overall.
Geronimo Creek Lighting - Grip and Electric Ren...
2920 N Naomi St, Burbank, CA 91504, United States
I have been renting from Geronimo Creek for years. They are a great option for all sizes of productions I do. Sometimes I need a van. Sometimes I need a full truck. Sometimes I need two trucks. They work for all of those projects. I call them a lot for that reason. They also keep good quality gear. A lot of other places are cheaper but most of them have gear thats been thrown around the back of some LA Film School kids Prius. Spend the money on good quality. Have no problems on set. Make your clients and directors happy.
U-Haul of Burbank
924 S Victory Blvd, Burbank, CA 91506, United States
I rented a 10-foot truck to move from San Jose to Burbank, California, and paid $520 for mileage and equipment. After returning the vehicle in 35 hours when I had 96 hours to keep it. The guy reversed the fuel credit that they gave me in San Jose location for no reason I knew of because I returned it at the exact level I picked up. They left me with the impression that they were doing to help, but when in fact, they charge me three times the price of the fuel at the end when I cant go in to pick up the truck to refuel it and return to them. I couldve pumped gas myself at a fraction of the price. Im familiar with these industries the deception not so much. The customer service gal Mackenzie argued for 15 minutes the contract said the truth, not the guy who handed the truck in San Jose. I let them take the money anyway, but there is a story to be heard for others to avoid this unsatisfying and disappointing story. Why did they bother giving a fuel credit in the first place anyway, so they take it away?
U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sun Valley
7721 N Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505, United States
On Friday 2/5/21 I rented a 15' moving truck from the U-Haul location in Sun Valley, CA. The experience was a slightly different with COVID-19 restrictions, but it was quick and easy to get the truck. I took it back to my old apartment I was moving out of so I could get moving first thing in the morning. When I was ready to move, I noticed someone had spray painted graffiti on the side of the truck overnight while parked. I was angry that someone had vandalized the truck, but I was glad I had purchased U-Hauls safe move protection (since it was sold as protection against damage to the vehicle) I used the truck for 30 miles and returned it less than 24 hours later. Upon returning the truck, I notified the attendant at the Sun Valley, CA location that someone had unfortunately spray painted on the truck. He looked concerned, but told me not to “worry about it, it wasn't my fault.” I asked if there is anything else, I should be concerned with and asked how I would receive the final charges. He responded no and I will get my receipt by email. On Monday February 8th I received my email receipt with a “cleaning fee” of $150.00, to my surprise. I called the Sun Valley U-Haul to see what the fee was for, but they told me they had no idea and did not have notes, so they told me to call customer service. I called customer service and they said the same thing and that I would have to call the Sun Valley U-Haul. I called back again and said the call the manager who goes by “TJ” directly. I called twice and left a message. I called customer service once more to see what my options are since I am not getting any answers; at that point, they told me to file a customer action form. All these calls took about an hour out of my day and delayed my organization duties at home, the last thing I needed while moving was to deal with this.On Tuesday February 9th I received a call from TJ the manager, he told me the “cleaning fee” was for the graffiti. I was surprised since his attendant when I dropped off the truck told me “not to worry about it” and I assumed since I purchased “Safe Move Protection” from U-Haul I was covered. He proceeded to tell me I still owe the fee and that his weekend employee is not trained to take in trucks so he doesn't know better and should of not said “don't worry about it” and that the Safe Move Protection from U-Haul does not cover the graffiti. I told him I wasn't angry about the money, but the fact that they weren't transparent and it shouldn't of took six calls, an hour of my time and a customer action form to get my answer, which then he became flustered and condescending. He told me I should of called him directly, which I did and he proceeded to say he did not get a call. (I have phone records showing I did) Then he said I should not make assumptions about U-Haul's safe move protection product and that I was not covered against graffiti and that owe the fee.I read the contract and could not find anything saying I was not covered for vandalism.I write this to let you know the horrible experience I had with U-Haul, U-Haul's Safe Move Protection and its employees. I have used U-Haul many times in the past, but this will be the last time. I hope that anyone reading this takes into account that they sell their “Safe Move Protection” with many promises, but it fails to deliver. I'm disappointed that the manager or U-Haul did not even try to remedy the situation especially when there were so many flaws in their operation. From the poorly trained and misinformed employee who checked in my truck and did not inform me of the fee or that “Safe Move” would not cover vandalism. To the customer service reps who had me waste my time on Monday calling so many different places and finally to the condescending manager who could not even attempt to rectify the situation. I'm highly disappointed U-Haul

The Brad Korb Real Estate Group
3813 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505, United States
We sold our house with Brad eight years ago, but our relationship with him started years before that.A few years after we bought the house, Brad called and got my wife. He said that the market had improved a bit and asked if we were interested in selling. My wife said no. Brad asked if he could check back with us, and my wife said, Sure, call in a year.A year later, Brad called and said, You said to check back in a year, so Im just checking to see if youre ready to sell. My wife again said no, and to check back in a year. This went on for ten years. It was never a bother, just a quick call. So of course, when we actually did decide to sell, we called Brad. When we met, we knew there were several things that needed to be done around the house: painting, minor repairs, etc. Wed been putting off selling for some time because we hadnt worked up the gumption to get those things done. I said to Brad, What Im hoping youll say is that you can take care of everything, and all we have to do is say, Go.Brad smiled and said, Geoff, Katerina, I can take care of everything. All you have to do is say, Go. We did, and the process started. We got a call from one of Brads people. She said, Brad gave me a list of the things that need to be done. We have people for each of those things. You dont have to use them, but if you want to, theyll call, and all you have to do is say yes and theyll do the work. We even had the option to pay out of the sales revenue, although we didnt.Over the next few weeks, people called. A handyman. A painter. A landscaper. Each said, Im with the Brad Korb team, and told us what needed to be done and how much it would cost. We said yes to each, and the work was done.Once it was all done, Brad sold our house, just like that. We wanted everything to be handled, and Brad did exactly that. It was perfect. From start to finish the process took only a month or two, and we got just what Brad had predicted. We couldnt be happier with the outcome, and even now we recommend Brad to anyone we know whos selling their house, or even people who just need advice. Hes always been available and helpful.
Victory Auto Body
4220 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505, United States
I had the strangest and weirdly most pleasant experience with victory auto body. I took my car in for windshield and roof repairs at the recommendation of my insurance company. It took a while for them to replace the roof and windshield, but they were really kind every step of the way, from communication to scheduling to answering any questions I had (Jonathan is a great guy!). The two brothers helping me out, Harut & Karo, were also awesome. When I got my car back, I noticed there was other cosmetic damage to completly different parts of the car. Needless to say I was furious, but I contacted my Insurance and brought it back to Victory autobody the following week. One of the two amazing brothers that works there, Karo, was really upset and super apologetic. He said this wasnt the kind of work they do, which my insurance agent had also said. He said theyd take care of it and to not worry at all. After about a week they replaced a window, inner panels, buffed out scuffs, and touched up everything. At no extra cost, and with nothing but smiles. This place is really fantastic and while I had a bit of a weird experience up front Id definitely recommend them to anyone. They stand by their work and its no wonder they have such a high customer rating.
The Home Depot
1200 Flower St, Burbank, CA 91502, United States
My home was built in the 60s. A fact Home Dept didnt bother to ask about until after they charged me $50 and sent someone to do the measurement. He wrote down - clear as day on the report submitted for an estimate - that due to the age of the place, there could be asbestos. He assured me that if so, the installers would only charge about $100 extra and handle it.After literally hours and hours of endless discussions and verifications on phones and in person, I was given the greenlight and an estimate. I purchased all the materials and the installation. I paid someone to bring the heavy load from the store to my home - Home Depot would only deliver either to the store, or to the curb. I also had to free up my schedule, empty the kitchen and the fridge, and get up at an ungodly hour.THEN the installer informed me, on arrival, that I needed to hire a special company to check for asbestos before he could proceed! I also discovered that if there was any, I would be charged thousands of dollars to handle it.I managed to get Home Depot to pick up the materials cluttering my living room. When I didnt hear back from them, I filed disputes with the two credit card companies I used. One of them re-credited me right away, the other is still waiting for Home Depot to refund it on their own volition before they intervene. Almost 3 weeks later, Home Depot has not yet refunded the money. My credit card company would handle this part. But I am out $160 ($50 for useless measuring that is unrefundable because of the service I supposedly received, and $110 for someone to carry the materials). Not to mention all the time I wasted and the aggravation.Home Depot refuses to take responsibility for any part of this fiasco. I will NEVER hire them for any job and highly suggest you dont either. Interestingly enough, they practically flood the web with scores of their own websites showing mostly positive reviews. I suppose they are trying to bury the real ones.Whether dishonest or incompetent, I would never use Home Depot again for any installation project I might have.
