Trailer Rental at U-Haul
99 N 4th Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91910, United States
Fill up your trucks and clean them. My truck was only a 1/4 tank. I was charged for not refilling when the needle didn't move. Also the sun visor on the truck was ripped off and missing. Very sub par customer service, there was no walk around and no one to go over the return with me. I was advised to just leave it and I'll get an email. As a result I was charged way more than my estimate. I worked for U-Haul for 3 years, and in that time I never was as lack luster as this location.
U-Haul Moving & Storage of Chula Vista
99 N 4th Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91910, United States
Everything went well in the beginning until returning our truck . Employee stated we drove it 40 miles when it reality drove it less than 20 and even filled it with $25. Our charges went from 40 to 100 because of the suppose miles we drove it . The morning in which I was assisting my disabled and elderly dad move led to a negative experience . The manager stated they could not do anything about it . The miles listed on the contract match when we first got the truck . Again what didn't match was the Milage indicated on the odometer when we returned the truck . We had the truck form 8 to 11 am and even returned it at 9:30am . I do admit I should've second guessed getting the keys to the truck we were given since the manager stated to another employee that it recently had maintenance work done which leads me to believe issues with the truck was one for sure the odometer. (Corporate please feel free to check your indoor cameras for the managers words to another employee regarding the recent maintenance to the truck ) I will be making a formal complaint because it is a rip off to charge a costumer for something we honestly did not do. I have been a loyal customer for years and thankfully have had no issues prior to this but when you take my hard earned money for an injustice reason then we have a problem . I will look for another moving company in the future if my money is not refunded .
Men In Black Transportation
3278 Main St, Chula Vista, CA 91911, United States
Absolute Nightmare. We had the misfortune of using MIB transportation services for our wedding day. We spent more than $4,000 on several shuttles and were incredibly disappointed... Never, ever again.... 1) HASSLES: We explained the details of our rehearsal & wedding day shuttles, more than 6 times over the phone, and when we requested them to send it to us in writing, it was incorrect 2 more times, adding so many more hassles to our wedding before it even began, 2) LATENESS: on our big day, they had some kind of inspection which made them 25 minutes late for the groom and groomsmen bus. Not only were we not notified, but the groom called at least 12 times on his wedding day and they were unable to tell him if, or when it would arrive. Then they proceeded to take the route with a road closure, resulting in half of the guests being over an hour late. There is an alternate route. (They deny the tardiness of our guests, however I have proof of this and would never make something like this up). Due to the lateness of the groom bus, my bridesmaid called MIB and was assured that they would dispatch another bus for us so the guests would not be late. This never happened.... 3)PENNY-PINCHING: When our bridal shuttle was 15 minutes late to leave they charged us an additional hour: a $130 fee, but did nothing for us when they made the groom and guests an hour late to our wedding. We had to postpone the ceremony and this substantially impacted our big day and itinerary. After all of this when we contacted management and discussed our concerns they simply did nothing to ensure our satisfaction. The owner was rude to my husband and told us to take him to small claims court. Unless you would like to have to deal with small claims court, I strongly urge you to work with a company that cares about your satisfaction and takes ownership of their mistakes.

Hoffman Hanono Insurance
2090 Otay Lakes Rd #102, Chula Vista, CA 91913, United States
We are involved in commercial real estate both here in California and out of state. We have been working with Hoffman Hanono for over 15 years on all of our insurance needs, business and personal. We have on occasion contacted other brokers to compare pricing and we always wind up staying with Hoffman Hanono because other brokers have not been able to beat their coverages and pricing. Over the years we have also had many claims arise, ranging from very minor slip and falls to catastrophic roof damage from thunderstorms. While these claims can be very stressful situations, the strongest aspect of working with Hoffman Hanono was knowing they were there on our side to advocate for our interests and obtain the best resolution possible for us on these claims and complex issues. I would highly recommend Hoffman Hanono to anyone regarding all insurance questions and issues.
AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care
1415 Broadway #103, Chula Vista, CA 91911, United States
Long story short, they screwed up on so many levels, I cant believe they can get away with this. I got my car back in worse condition than when I brought it to them. They cant even put a tire on correctly.I first brought my car in due to noises and acceleration issues it made when the transmission was engaging or shifting gears. They did a full inspection and told me the noises and acceleration issues are from worn u-joints and support bearings that needed to be replaced, and that they couldnt find anything else wrong. I was quoted with a $1300 repair that would only take a day.I agreed to it, and somehow it took over a week. I called every couple days and each time, the excuse was that their parts supplier kept bringing wrong or defective parts... When it was finally done over a week later, I went to pick it up and there was a puddle of fluid under my car in the parking lot. I assumed it was from some other car that might have been parked there before... I also noticed one of the plastic panels from under my car was sticking out a bit, but I figured theres no need to bring up a small issue like that...I pay and get in my car to leave and notice that the clock was way off and my radio station presests were all gone (that means they disconnected the battery at some point, and didnt bother to set anything back).Right when I leave and get into the street, the car starts making a weird whining noise. But because it was a busy street, I had to turn and go elsewhere to make sure the sound wasnt from one of the other cars around me. It WAS coming from my car, but it went away after a couple minutes. Also, they were closing so I couldnt go back to get it checked that day, plus, i had to catch up on a lot of errands. While running errands, the plastic panel that they didnt properly screw back under my car partially came off and started scraping loudly on the road. I had to stop somewhere to get zip ties and temporarily put it back and away from the ground (so now the panel is ripped, scraped up, and zip tied in a weird position). While zip tying the panel underneath the bumper, I noticed another puddle that looked like oil. It turned out to be transfer case fluid, you can tell because it smells like rotten eggs.I brought it back the next morning, and they tell me theyd have to keep it for a day to look into the leak and that new odd whining noise coming from my car. They determined the problems have nothing to do with the work they did. They said the new noise and leak is coming from the transfer case, which just happens to connect directly to the parts they replaced... They said they didnt touch it, yet somehow inspected it the first time without touching it, and there was nothing wrong with it... they later admitted to opening it up to top off the fluid, but still claim nothing they did caused it to start leaking or making new noises...So, they have a shitty supplier of parts... But also, they cant diagnose the problem on inspection, they just throw parts at the problem (guess who pays for that?). Then, they refuse to take responsibility or even acknowledge when the work they fucked up on creates more problems... And thats not even the end of it.I get home and discover later the next day that one of the lug nuts on my front right tire was so loose, it came off with 3 turns by hand, no tools. WTF!?!Also, the initial issues that I brought it in for never went away. Also, theres grease stains on the edge of the carpet and doorsill (I just had my carpet cleaned and shampooed less than 2 weeks 2 before taking it to them).
Chula Vista Ford
560 Auto Park Dr, Chula Vista, CA 91911, United States
I bought my 2020 F150 on October 2020, when it was Penske Ford. My experience was pleasant with the sales person. My experience from picking the truck to driving of the lot took approximately four hours. What took the longest, was waiting for the finance guy, which they only had one. I was the last customer at the dealer when I drove of the lot. My case was very easy. Excellent credit, I took the first offer they gave me, and I did not negotiate the price. I was pretty much an easy sell, I said yes to everything. For a sale like that, I should have been in and out in an hour max. The time it took to complete the process, is the reason why I am giving it a three star. Since I was the last customer, by the time I got with the finance guy, he seemed quiet, and just wanted to get through the process as fast as possible, I dont blame him, I wanted to get out of there quickly also. However, I will say that the finance person briefed me on everything I signed, and told me my APR when I asked him. Sometime in the middle of signing papers I asked what about extended warranty? He seemed asthinished that I asked about extended warranty. I pretty much told him I wanted and extended warranty that would cover everything, I dont want to pay anything when I come to the dealer for service or repairs. Essentially pre-pay everything. He told me to get a highest warranty and pre-pay maintenance they have, and I did. I have been pretty happy with the truck. On the service part of the house. Service always takes forever. Be prepared to wait 2-3 hours on a simple oil change, and inspection, even with an appointment. Since 2021, for all my services I have not paid, looks like my pre-pay works so far. However, my last service, which was about two weeks ago, I asked to have a brake fluid flush in accordance with my F150 owners manual. In my manual it states that a brake fluid replacement is recommended every three years. When I asked for the flush, I was surprised that I had to pay for that. No big deal, Ill pay for that service. Overall 3 stars for service department due to the amount of time it takes to service your vehicle for a simple oil change, even with an appointment.I cant remember the name of my last service rep, two week ago. But he gets 5 stars overall for customer service! I showed up to my service appointment early, in military uniform because I was in transit to work and decided to wait for my vehicle. He greeted me friendly, asked me what I wanted to get done, and kindly informed me I had to pay for the brake flush. Upon completion of my service, my service rep took the time to help me out in off setting some of the cost of the brake flush. He informed me I had 40,000 ford point that I had never used. I baleieve I got the point when I purchased the vehicle. He asked me if I wanted to use my points towards the service and I agreed. I ended up not paying anything! I would have never known if my service rep had not taken the time to look into it. He decided to take the time without me asking him. That is 100% customer service at its finest. If Chula Vista Ford management reads this review, I have some feedback that help out internal proceeses in ensuring better customer satisfaction.-There are customers, like myself, who dont care about pricing, have excellent credit, and the funds (cash, pre approval, or finance through dealer) to purchase a vehcile. These type of people know exactly what they want and time is valuable. I would recommend this dealer implements a speedy buying process for this type of people.-Invest in adding two drive-thru lanes for vehicles only requiring oil changes, and tire rotation. Something similar to those 15 minutes drive-thru services that are all around town. I have seen drive-thru oil changes at other dealers in San Diego. This add-on would aleviate a lot of waitting time for customers and would greatly improve customer satisfaction.
Aqua Clean Car Wash
1435 Ridgeback Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91910, United States
I used to go to the La Mesa Aqua Clean Car Wash when I lived there. I moved to Eastlake and have brought my car to the Chula Vista location twice. First time I got the blue atlantic package and asked the guy up front if they wiped down the center console, and he informed me they do. When the car was returned, they did not and I had some dried up water spots on the front bumper which I let slide.Today was my second trip here. I got the tidal wave package this time and the photos attached are the aftermath of their service (or lack thereof). The front bumper and center console were not cleaned and to top it all off, the conveyor belt snapped the stem off one of my tires instantly deflating my driverside front. The employee who finished cleaning up my car informed me that my tire was flat, and it certainly was not on my way over. I immediately noticed the snapped stem, flagged down the closest worker (who turned out to be the manager) and told him what happened. He immediately took an accusatory tone saying that the cameras do not lie and said that I was being difficult despite giving me options. The options he provided me were to move my car about 15-20 feet on a complete flat, risking damaging my sidewall so I could change into the spare. I never once raised my voice or anything and had witnesses to prove it.The manager got an employee to change into my spare so another employee could take the damaged tire to first Pep Boys, then decided Costco was the more viable solution. After the employee jacked my car up, put the spare on, and hand tightened the lug nuts, I asked if he torqued the lug nuts to which he responded, yes. I was holding the lug nut wrench the entire time, so he lied.I waited 2.5 hours while waiting for that to be fixed. The tire was brought back fixed, the manager offered to run it through the wash again and detail it again, which I fully appreciated, however the center console was still dirty and the front bumper was still the same. When all was said and done, the manager never apologized for the accusatory tone he took with me, called it a misunderstanding, and that his machinery or employees would have never caused the damage. They had two opportunities to properly clean my vehicle to the standards which I paid for and failed. The acknowledgement of fault was in his actions to me but I will not be returning.
