If you don't have time to read, go ahead and book with Hertz or Enterprise instead!It was rather a horrible decision when I decided to do business with FOX Rent A Car for the first time, and it was certainly my last time. I booked a full-size SUV to pick up from LAX (Los Angeles) for a week, April 8 to April 15.Before booking, I ensured that the car I was booking was 7 seats, Dodge Durango or similar.Upon pick up, I was informed that my car will be a 7 seat Toyota 4 Runner. When I picked it up, I was told that the third row seat is located in the trunk, under the second row seat, but that was not there. Moreover, the car they gave my was very unstable on high speeds, and would violently shake every time I would hit the brakes. I get it that my mistake was that I never double checked if my 4 runner had the 3rd row seats, but the car felt unsafe to drive on highways anyways.Regardless, when I realized these issues, I contacted FOX via phone and spoke with Traci from sales, and asked to have my car swapped to a well-maintained, 7 seat SUV at the nearest location, which she suggested was Ontario International Airport. Traci confirmed with me over the phone that the Ontario location will provide me with a much better car, and that it will be a safer 7 seats Pacifica van. I asked if there will be in additional surcharges, and was told by Traci that there WONT be any additional charges, due to the inconvenience. When I arrived at the Ontario airport (after leaving my friends and family waiting for me to go to San Diego), I was told that they won't swap my car at Ontario, despite the fact that it was ((((((((((APPORVED)))))))))) by FOX central reservations office.The Ontario branch was full of rude, brilliantly dysfunctional and incapable “employees”, who informed me that they don't have any minivans (and i could see 5 of them outside), and asked me to go to LAX to swap their broken toy car that I paid for. How bold of them!!!At that point, I didn't argue at all, as they ALMOST ruined my trip to San Diego, simply due to their debilitating lack managerial skills, coordination incompetencies, and pathetic business model, where a company that is “supposed to respect itself” decides to put their customers last, and focuses on developing an undervalued mindset towards its customer.I begged them very politely once and twice and offered to pay a premium rate to just get my car swapped to a working 7 seats vehicle, which is what I paid for, but no luck! They decided to rely on their undertrained and devastatingly low-paid branch manager to represent their brand image, which simply centralize about being complete, utter, indigestible garbage.Luckily, their big competitor, Hertz at Ontario was there to save the day. They managed to secure me 2024 Black Cadillac Escalade, fully loaded with seven seats, and with a rate that beats Fox's toy car. I parked Fox's toy car by the house's dumpster until the end of my vacation and indulged myself with the lovely Escalade. Oh, and Hertz sent someone to pick it back up from my vacation home when I was done.The moral of the story here is that my review will always pop up among the top ones first because they have upset the wrong Google local guide. Aside from the fact that I will dispute the transaction through my Credit Card, for not receiving the promised goods and services, I hope that a manager from the LA area would reach out to me to make it right, otherwise, you are just better off with a company that is willing to provide you with the customer service you are paying for, like Hertz or Enterprise.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car

They are not honest here even though that is supposed to be one of their values. We reserved a rental car online through a 3rd party and bought insurance through them as well. Upon arrival the employee said it wouldnt cover the car and that their coverage was what we would need. We showed them the coverage paperwork and explained what other insurances we have and they kept ignoring it saying it doesnt cover the car and we would have to buy theirs if we wanted coverage. We added it and I called the other company to ask why their coverage didnt work at Enterprise but they said it does. They suggested canceling the Enterprise insurance since it was 3 times as expensive!I called Enterprise, and it was very hard to get a hold of them. There are long waits and they hang up on you if youre waiting for representative too long.Finally I got through and explained the insurance we have. This employee said it does cover their cars. I asked why I would need their insurance then and why they didnt accept it before. He just repeating that it was optional and they offer it to everyone. I asked if they could refund the insurance and he said yes if we bring the car back in for inspection. We did but they would only refund part of it which is not what they told me on the phone.I did not feel like they care about their customers nor did they want to make it right. They dont seem to care about being dishonest if it will make them more money. This was our first experience with Enterprise, and unless they can make it right, we will never use them again. Weve had no issues with multiple other car rental companies.------Update: sent an email to Enterprise customer care a week ago and was directed to the regional manager. Still waiting to hear from them. 2/29/2020-----Update: months later Ive sent multiple emails and was told someone would get back to me. They never did. Sent more emails asking the issue to be escalated which after a few more attempts it finally was. Finally received a phone call and the person said theyd refund the one day of insurance I paid for because I wasnt aware of the policy that they wont refund it if it is past the first day. No mention of the LIES the employee told me about the insurance I previously purchased not working. They played it off as the employees was just telling me about the insurance I had the option to buy. Very dishonest company that takes forever to get back to you and doesnt care about wasting your time.

I have used this particular U-Haul facility and business for the last 9 years that Ive lived in Ontario, California. As of February 1st I was evicted from my home and needed to get a truck to go ahead and move my items into storage as me and my family were becoming homeless. Due to the horrible weather that we had at the beginning of February I unfortunately was not able to bring the van back at its scheduled time I called the I called the building spoke with an associate and they told me that I should be able to have the van picked up if it was necessary to and when said called corporate and then regional I was then told that that was a lie and I also expressed that I wasnt able to afford to pay for the other days that would be charged because again Im a single mom about to be homeless they still charged me $160 plus $108. That is two nights worth of motels for me and my boys. And I have been in dispute with my bank and have now going to be in dispute with U-Haul Im not happy with my experience I feel that I was completely taken advantage of when I was already going through a really tough time in my life that yes poor decisions were made unfortunately I trusted people that I thought I could trust that were not able to have my back in order to get the van back at the appropriate time as promised but when the U-Haul came to pick up the van I didnt sign anything they didnt go over pricing with me they didnt go over anything. I did not even receive a follow-up call from the store manager who is adamant about not wanting to pick up the vehicle from me and wanting to call the police because I still had the vehicle and nothing I just get double charged and because the card went through thats it. Unfortunately after the situation I will never use U-Haul again I cannot believe the unbelievable amount of distrust that I have within a company that Ive used for so long that was always so accommodating to the fact that again being a single parent Im only one human with two hands. I understand that as a human I have to make the I have to make the moves on my end to make it work in order to use U-Haul or any type of truck facility cuz I am only one person but at the same time work with your customers. And so I wont be happy until I get my money back and even then I may never use U-Haul again especially U-Haul of Ontario off of hole boulevard.

The best part is that I now have first hand experience of her professionalism, trust, and strong work ethic that comes with so much love and care when I refer her to my friends! Been appx 3 months since I got my vehicle serviced here.I had my Windshield replaced as well as chips and the grill of my bumper replaced from rock damage on the freeway. Everything was covered since I had to go through my insurance and pay my deductible but the work done was subpar.I believe I wouldve been better off not having it done at all. I traded chips for an incorrectly installed bumper that was a different color as well as the hood.After receiving my vehicle the first time I noticed numerous things. For instance the windshield weather stripping was not installed correctly and the clips had been broken off, an area of overspray of clear coat, my headlights not aligned properly as before and the paint color differing from the original.I took it back to have the overspray and windshield weather stripping fixed which it was. I was told that they had a different company install the windshields and that is why it hadnt been done correctly.5 days after these corrections my brand new Windshield cracked from the corner starting where the weather stripping was across to the passenger side.I was driving home from the store in my other vehicle and noticed it when I went to get the mail. The car had been parked for 2 days and just moved to clean the yard.I had gotten a flat tire on the front drivers side from a nail on the road. After checking the rest of the tires I noticed inside the wheel well that my bumper had not been installed correctly on the passenger side. It was apparently forced into place and bent to put in the screws which might explain the increase in wind noise when driving with my windows down.After checking the bumper further I noticed that the signal light clips that connect to the bumper were also broken and just put in place. These clips hold the light to the bumper and prevent a gap from showing.All in all that is what I have discovered as of yet after about 3 months. I will update this post when/if I discover more.I strongly suggest going somewhere with a better service history and experienced employees that will service your vehicle with the professionalism that you deserve.Rather than receiving a repaired vehicle, I received a vehicle with different flaws and types of damage.I will not be taking my business here ever again and will refer anyone who I meet or know to go elsewhere.I paid my deductible for my vehicle to be fixed, not to purchase a different set of problems and damage.If you take your vehicle here you are taking a chance, hopefully for you they do a perfect job but as you have read, that was far from what I received.

Whenever I have family come in, I make sure they fly into Ontario. The reason being is that it so close to Corona and there is never the same amount of traffic as there is when coming back from Orange County or LAX. With that being said, I wasnt able to pick them up on their recent visit last week and had to set them up with a car rental service close to the airport. After a few hours of searching for an auto service that was nearby (and oh boy were there a lot of them to choose from!), I came across United Auto Rental off Airport Dr. This location was pretty ideal being so near to the airport but what really made me choose them was their customer service. Oh and their ridiculously good rates!I talked to the woman a few days before and she set me up with reserving a simple economic car for my family. She stated that they would just need the reservation form printed out and I would be able to pay for it with my credit card. This was ideal as I didnt want to make my family pay for it on the fact that I wasnt able to pick them up. So for that alone, THANK YOU! Really saved my butt from being a flaky niece!In addition, their rates are the best in town! I mean it, if you happen to read this while shopping around for a car, give them a call first! They have super cheap cars just to get the job done and they even have some pretty classy cars.Great staff. Great service. Great prices. Use them and come back and thank me later.

Local dealership with good descriptions on there vehicles and professionalism.I arrived and was greeted by Curtis and after telling him my needs and future concerns I decided on a land rover discovery.The test drive went well and I purchased the car, they worked the paperwork out fast and offered a warranty at low monthly cost,Curtis clearly explained it and all the advantages, he didnt act like it was just a extra spiff to make money on but being a usedcar I seen it as wise advice in which I purchased.Upon my second day of driving the car it locked up from one of its safety features, police arrived rapidly from the car calling them thinking it was in a accident (awesome feature). I then contacted prestige and had the car towed back to the dealer in which they paid. The Car was then sent to the land rover and repairs began. At this point I understood that theres no way of knowing there was a problem like this and remained calm with Curtis, he said they will take care of it and will contact me later.In the end and about 20 phone calls later and Through all of this sometimes Curtis would answer other times he was way to busy with keeping the business moving forward and im sure he was scratching his head on what to do for me, they could have just gave the problem back to me but they didnt. Its easy to get mad but how would that help the issue.I expressed allot of stress upon Curtis and totally lost the excitement of getting a new car, but he keep expressing that theyare working on it so please be patient, at times I did feel ignored but again he did say hes working on the issue.I then started to really worry since I was starting a new job soon and couldnt use the loaner car they had assigned to me.Prestige continued to work on repairs and at this point land rover said they would have to order the next set of parts from outof country and it could be weeks till it arrives, which I had no time for, so I went back to prestige unannounced to see if wecould change the contract and get a different vehicle for me to be back to work this week. I was then greeted by Henry whowalked me through a few vehicles and low and behold Curtis drives up with a different discovery, so I walk up to him and hesays I got you a new car so you can make it to work, I was totally lost for words at this point and have never imagined a dealershipwould go so far out of there way for just a regular person like myself, (thats business dignity and integrity). We then tookit for a test drive, I called land rover for a service report and everything was just perfect. So we rewrote the contract and Iheaded home in my new car.Im sure its rare for them to have to deal with a car that broke down the way it did even after the rigorous inspection that prestige performs on there vehicles but sometimes you cant see everything and even land rover was at a loss of what was really going on with the vehicle so there was no point to get mad, or curse Ect; at the prestige team since that only makes things worse while the guys were working with me and did provide me with a loaner car during the process, and Im thankful I took the advice to get the warranty even though I ended up with a different vehicle in the end.Through the stressful process I give 7 stars even though usually there is 5 only. The guys will go above and beyond if you only listen and express yourself patiently as it should be done in business. From this experience, I will continue to purchase vehicles here since they have high end cars and the professionalism you just dont get at other dealers. Thanks Prestige.
