Budget Car Rental
2889 W 5th St, Oxnard, CA 93030, United States
I will try to avoid this location in the future. My reservation was for 11:30 AM and I arrived around 12:20 PM. I waited in line for about 10 minutes and the rental agent informed me there were no cars available. He told me he was expecting some cars to be returned soon. After I left the counter a few other customers were rented cars. I inquired again at 1:00 PM and still no car available. Concerned about the time as the location was closing at 2:00 PM I inquired again and the agent checked his computer and verified my reservation details which included a one way drop off at Burbank Airport. He then offered me an SUV for an upgrade fee. I accepted a reduced upgrade fee and was soon on my way though late to my destination. I will say the SUV I received was very nice and drove great but had I not agreed to the upgrade fee, it was looking most likely that I would not have had a car to drive and would have been stuck. As far as the agent, he was very overwelmed that day, and seemed to have had a very rough morning.

Avis Car Rental
2889 W 5th St, Oxnard, CA 93030, United States
I was very unhappy with my rental experience. I rented a car online and then was notified it was unavailable. I specifically chose AVIS because this car was available (convertible Mustang). A few hours before I was going to pick up the car I was notified it was unavailable. I dont understand how you have such poor knowledge of your inventory that this would happen. Then, the car I chose was dirty--windows were dirty, the car inside was dirty. In the time of Covid I was appalled to find the car was in such poor condition. It looked as if the inside had been hastily cleaned awhile ago (poorly done with garbage in the cup holder, etc.) and the outside had been washed and then the car had sat idle for awhile. It was dusty and dirty. I had to wash the inside completely when I got the car home before I could let me family in the car. You need to get your act together at the AVIS rental office at the airport.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!FROM THE MANAGER BAILEY TO REGIONAL MANAGER TIM-reported.Twitter/instagram/yelp1991 Ventura Bl. Suite B Oxnard, Ca 93036 I booked online and was having trouble with date selection therefore I contacted the Oxnard branch directly to assist. A woman answered the call & verified my rental which is through my insurance department under a car manufacturer warranty. I specifically requested if Enterprise Oxnard was available to pick me up about 2 miles away or if I should contact a Lyft/Uber. The representative said she would send someone to pick me up from the mechanic and took the pick up location address & asked if she could place me on a brief hold. I waited 19 minutes on hold before Bailey-a Manager got on the line. By this point I was in the Lyft that I paid for and enroute. Once I arrived, Bailey was rude, condescending and had an uncomfortable attitude while explaining she couldn't rent to me using the insurance claim & needed several hundred dollars for a 2 day rental, despite the online quoted price being $86.00. She then went on to pressure me for additional information and further inconsistencies, inconvenienced my entire evening. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her level of customer service and irritability after waiting for over 20 minutes on hold only to be told of a policy that was unfamiliar to me as I rented using my corporate account before at the other branch that was 10 minutes away without issue. She didn't like my response and handed me my card refusing to rent to me but offered to give me a ride to my next destination. I asked that she take me to the other branch where I was able to rent without issue. I returned to the Oxnard location to speak with a different manager as I felt discriminated against and dissatisfied with the service I had received from Bailey at the Oxnard location. As I walked in the door before I could make my request, another employee whom wasn't present previously notified me he was on the phone with the police department as I was trespassing. I asked how that was the case when I am a customer and drove there in the car I rented from the location they sent me to. He went on to say after I returned this rental I'd never be able to rent for any Enterprise ever stating “ I have my staff back!” This employee was posturing towards me in an aggressive manor and threatening to call law enforcement on me as if I was a criminal. I left feeling very insulted, discriminated against and ended up missing my flight to a very important engagement. I've never felt so undervalued as a paying customer. I would like to file a discrimination complaint against the manager and the regional manger who were covert racist and used bullying tactics to force me into an uncomfortable position. They added that they do not provide pick ups in the area they left me stranded and waiting despite telling me over the phone they were going to be picking me up. I've received rides before from this location so I know this isn't the case.I spoke to the Regional Manager and he made matters worse and wanted me to walk to Hertz rental car after business hours in a sketchy neighborhood instead of helping. I requested to speak to who is over Regional at the corporate level or higher & was re- routed to Tim who was the worst!I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN!!!FROM THE MULTIPLE NEGATIVE REVIEWS PLUS THE UBER DRIVER STATEMENT OF PRIOR CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS ITS OBVIOUS ENTERPRISE IS NOT WORRH IT.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The very worse Rent a Car employees. Do not get victimize, stay away from this place. This happened on Thanksgiving weekend. I rented a car on this place because my car was in the service center. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, I arrived at Enterprise Rent a Car around 3:45 pm to get the Car, a Chevy Spark 2021 model gray color. The Enterprise Employee walked me through the vehicle to inspect it, and I saw a Small Chip in the bumper on the drivers side and a couple of scratches and I showed it to the employee of Enterprise, and that employee told me that if it is a small chip and small scratches, Enterprise covers that and no need to record that and you do not need to worry about it, a doubt came to my mind, so I took some pictures of the car. And I asked this employee, if they had insurance that covers everything and he replied “NO and he read to me several insurance option, which if I get all of it, then the car would be fully covered, but the cost is very expensive per day, so I decided not to use the Enterprise insurance, and I used my own car insurance.Saturday, November 25, 2023, around 9:30 am, When I arrived at Enterprise Rent a Car to return the rented Car, a Very Young Lady that looks like a High School, Maybe a New Employee who wants to impress her manager, took a picture of the same small chip in the bumper on the drivers side and she said that they would file a claim in my insurance. Arguments happened, the enterprise male employee who did the walk-through inspection with me, the same employee who told me that those small damages were NO need to be recorded, does not want to comment and he moved away from the conversation.I did NOT sign any documents that I admit that it was my fault. After couple of days, I received an email from Enterprise that I need to pay $600+ for that same small chip in the bumper of the rented car which was there already when I rented it, and there was a document saying that it was my fault with a signature that looks like a line which is NOT my signature.Read this, lots of times, Me, my friends and my co-leagues uses enterprise rent a car if we are vacationing out of town and we recently used Enterprise Rent A Car in San Antonio, TX, and there was no problem, smooth system, professional employees, great insurance coverage for rental cars. The Enterprise Rent a Car location between Van Nuys Blvd and Oxnard St. have the worse customer service, very unprofessional and inexperience employees.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of North Oxnard

We came in Tuesday to pick up a TV box in our Forte and as we were getting ready to ring up, Justin was kind enough to let us know that that box would not fit in our car! haha We had scheduled a truck pick up at another location the next day, but Justin helped us get our reservation switched to this location so that we could use our uhaul to bring the tv box with us the next day. It was super easy to get everything set up and driving the truck was a breeze. The store is very clean and well stocked. Even overheard another employee being very professional and kind with a customer that was being a little difficult, haha. Definitely coming back here next time we need. Thank you so much you guys!!! We appreciate it!!!

Rented a furniture dolly on Saturday evening. Went in to return it on Sunday. There were 5 people in line waiting for service. A guy installing a hitch, asked for me name and told me that I could leave it by him and he would check it in when he was done. Monday morning I was charged $15.08. I called and was told someone would call me back. Then at 5:14 pm on Monday I was charged another $7.54. So I called again. I spoke with Candy in a call center. I was upset but not rude. I explained the situation to Candy. Candy replied sarcastically with an attitude that I should have gotten a return receipt. I asked her why she seemed irritated when the money is coming out of my account. As I am talking she is talking over me. When I reminded her that it is rude to talk over someone... she states she does not have to listen to me and she IS allowed to talk over me and then she hung up. ALL THIS OVER A $7.55 DOLLY RENTAL?! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE U-HAUL AND CANDY FROM U-HAUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is by far the worst company weve ever hired to come work on our home. We had an emergency plumbing situation and were bound by the fact that this company was the only one we could find to come out. We called and spoke with someone at 6:30 and were told that Jesus would be at our house by 9:30. At 9:30 he told us he wouldnt be here til 10. At 10 he said he was 15 minutes away. At 10:30 he said he would be here at 11. Finally, after 11 he showed up and claimed there was a traffic accident. He took a look at our plumbing and just gave us an estimate.Afterward, we set up an appointment for the following Tuesday to fix everything. I work from home and my husband works out of town so we trusted that Jesus would be by the estimated window of 11am-1pm. From 1-4 we began to receive the exact text we had received the first night. Im 15 away. Im 10 away with a new excuse oh my car battery died. by 4:30 we were forced to cancel the appointment and requested that for the next day we would need a new technician since we no longer felt comfortable having Jesus come to our home. The following day arrive and 2 hours before our window we were told by management that Jesus was the only technician available despite the promises that they made. Did they not know that no one else was available on our previous call just 16 hours prior? They didnt have a schedule in front of them when they guaranteed us a new technician? We did not feel comfortable with this tech but felt like we were in between a rock and hard place since we hadnt had hot water in 4 days.Jesus arrived while my husband wasnt home. He was smirking as he arrived and got out of his car he asked me what are you mad at me? and proceeded to laugh when I said we just need to get this job done and we have waited a long time. I felt immediately uncomfortable, something that I had wanted to avoid.Overall, just a terrible experience we were forced into due to the unfortunate circumstances. Do not go with this company unless you want to have multiple missed appointments and creepy people at your house.

Town Square at Wagon Wheel
2650 Wagon Wheel Rd, Oxnard, CA 93036, United States
Overpriced and not worth it. Granted it's a newly built complex, you're looking at roughly $2600/mo for a 1br 1ba. They do not come furnished. After fees for utilities, pet(s), extra parking, it'll be well over $3000 a month. If you ever need rent assistance for circumstances out of your control multiple agencies have said this is way above their maximum threshold for even a 2br 2ba in the county. If you have any issues they are corporate based and won't do anything. They charge $100 extra a month if you want an extra parking spot (not guaranteed to be behind the gate either). They have cameras and parking patrol but if you're parked below the security gate you're still risking it. “Pet friendly” if you include a $500 deposit & $50/mo per pet on top of your rent, with breed restrictions. If you need to book the rental center it is ridiculously priced. Limit you to 2 guests if you want to use the pool & you need to get a wristband for them in the front office. Appliances aside from the fridge were the cheapest you could get and poorly installed. It is a “no smoking” complex but the halls would smell like cheap weed all the time. I guess on the bright side their fire alarms work great.
