We were visiting from out of town and were eager to participate in this activity because the webpage looked good.Im giving this a 3.5/5 because we experienced a couple difficulties on our outing. We were instructed to start our buggies during instruction, but the engines were so loud that it was difficult to hear the person explaining to us the rules and how to use the buggies. When we first started, everything seemed fine; my husband stated that as he tried to speed up, he could sense something was wrong, but we didnt believe it would be a problem because we were still practicing on small roads. We intend to follow their tourist map, which they recommended, which will take about an hour at full pace.As we exited the small streets, and began to make our way towards Garden Street, we became aware that the buggy we were riding in did not seem right. We hardly exceeded 10 mph, and as we descended, it continued tugging us to the right. We didnt feel safe, so we returned within 20 minutes and informed them of the problem. We even switched drivers to ensure we werent going insane. Our friend who tried our buggy stated that something was wrong and that it did not feel the same as it did with his; he even sped up and was terrified.As we returned all buggies, the person who was there was understanding and kind; he offered a small refund and only charged us for one hour (we paid for two hours); we advised him that it didnt feel safe and that something was wrong with one of the vehicles; he advised that he just updated the suspension on the car, but didnt seem to want to test ride it himself to see if there was truly an issue - pretty sure it wasnt a suspension issue. Aside from that, if the buggy didn't feel sketchy, this would have been a fairly enjoyable experience.

Without hesitation, Dale swiftly addressed the issue, providing him with a new bike, ensuring that we didnt miss a beat. This level of customer care was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated.What truly sets Dale apart is his extensive knowledge of Santa Barbara and its hidden gems. He guided us to various exciting and beautiful spots that we would have never discovered on our own. His passion for the city and its history shone through, making our tour not only enjoyable but also educational.Our e-bike tour with Dale was nothing short of unforgettable. While Im certain that all the guides at Cal Coast Adventures are exceptional, Dale left an indelible impression on our family. First a disclaimer: The dive company is awesome. They are separate companies but the same name so easily confused. Our dive boat and crew were great, the boat, crew and food were top notch.The dive shop however was a different story. First, the man helping us shouldnt be in customer relations. He was unfriendly and rude. Maybe just a bad day but he acted like we were a burden when we were trying to give him hundreds of dollars for dive gear and rental equipment for a four-day boat dive trip. While he was helping us, others came in and he blew them off like they were also a burden to him. It started with my brother forgetting his C-card and when we tried to make something work with him he had no interest in helping. I completely understand his concern regarding liability, but his lack of interest in trying to make something work was mind blowing from a customer service standpoint. We couldnt reach NAUI because it was too late at night. We ended up having the instructor on our boat rent the tank, then validated my brothers cert on the boat in the morning and it worked great.The second frustration was upon returning we got our 10# of soft weights mixed up with another divers soft weights. Both were lead bead but the ones we were trying to return were made of a different fabric. Instead of working with us they billed us for the rental of the 10# that were missing, then ALSO made us buy the 10# for an additional cost of $53.I run a customer service company and if I treated my customers this way I would be out of business. However with SEA Landing they seem to be just fine with this level of customer disservice. Next year we will take our business elsewhere for rental.

Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach

Actually this is Tracy Miller... :) I decided on renting from Cal Coast Adventures yesterday 11/29/2020 primarily for where they are situated - right on the beach. I am not a fan of having to use a dock to get in and out of a kayak. Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach turned out to be even better than expected. Great customer service on the phone and AWESOME customer service from ANDRE right there on the beach. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Great kayaks and paddle boards that are in very good condition. Loved the high back seats for the kayaks. Looks like they were brand new. I highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach for kayaking and sup fun. Just be sure to find parking off the main drag as it is only 90 mins and trust me you will want to spend more than 90 mins out on the water there in Santa Barbara! I will be back soon!

My husband and I booked DJ Curly and the Photobooth through AMS and i have to say everything was simply perfect. From initial emails with Claire to going over our vision with Curly, everything ran like a well oiled machine. Ill admit i was a bit of a nervous bride that everything would play out the way i imagined it - but i have to say those worries were quickly squished the moment i stepped into ceremony and heard the music we had spoken about. everything was perfect and Curly did a phenomenal job of reading the room and playing the best song that would really hit with the crowd. I cant tell you how many times i heard from people how good they thought the DJ was.We also booked the photobooth and had an equally amazing experience there. We went a bit non tradition and did not hire a photographer for the big day because we felt the fun candid photoshoot strips are what people tend to enjoy more from weddings, and boy were we right! All night long groups were hooting and hollering, just having a ball.These folks are the perfect mixture of professional and fun. Highly recommend.

Spencer and Brandon were our crew members who delivered impeccable service, attentive care, and made our experience wildly enjoyable for just their conversations alone! Mix their great energy and presence with pristine views of the Santa Barbara Harbor and Channel Islands ...and you'll surely start to understand my enthusiasm for the Double Dolphin sailing cruise! I would recommend purchasing their beverages ( they sell beer and wine! ) as they offer these and wonderful snacks as well that you can buy on board. Also, sailing by the sea lions on the buoy is always fun to watch ( for any age!).My only suggestion is that you try and get to know the Double Dolphin fellas that are sailing your boat and helping you have an enjoyable experience; they have astounding knowledge in marine type fields and truly love what they do! Get to know their story and make plenty of new friends on the boat as well— it's one hell of an experience to take for such a reasonable price overall. Cheers and enjoy your time there!

My wife and I were disappointed in our stay here due to general lack of cleanliness and hosts who were defensive and unresponsive. The hosts are pleasant unless/until you raise issues about the stay. They were away for the weekend, leaving the premises in the hands of a housesitter who left the screen door open allowing a chicken to walk into the house (see photo), which guests access for its bathroom. When we alerted the hosts to various issues, including a moldy smell in the cactus cottage, a clogged bathroom sink, uncleaned chicken feces in the living room, dog feces in the yard, and meat on the kitchen floor, Megan was defensive and retaliated by saying that I had violated house rules by wearing flipflops inside (understandable considering what was on the floor). I then asked Megans husband whether there were security cameras inside the house and he said there were and that these secret cameras were required by the rental agency (in fact the opposite is true). Eventually, Megan wrote a much more apologetic note and offered a small discount. When we asked for a larger discount and said that we would be prepared to write a positive review in return for addressing the issues adequately, the hosts refused and then publicly accused us of violating the booking agencys policies by asking for the discount in exchange for a less negative review.*** Edited to respond to reply post below ***Honestly, I dont like writing a critical review and never would have if you accepted responsibility for your guests experience like a true and gracious superhost. Your calling me lovely and Gillian challenging on Air BnB while simultaneously trying to block her review also left left a bad taste in my mouth. Rather than just fixing the issues we raised, you reviewed footage from your creepy hidden cameras to brandish house rule violations in order to ward off accountability. On Sunday of grad weekend, when you came home to clean up after the mess caused by your unqualified and poorly trained housesitter, you tried to make it right, but then you doubled down on the defensive behavior by desperately trying to block Gillians review. AirBnb found your ridiculous extortion claim to be without merit and therefore has published her review . Yes, you also deserved a nice weekend with your family, but you still get one star from me for the multiple ways that you tried to avoid taking responsibility for our unfortunate experience. ***
