U-Haul Moving & Storage at Anaheim Blvd
626 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805, United States
Had to get road side assistance. I explained that I was in an area that had very poor reception so I made sure to give my exact location and reminded them they I might now get a call if they tried to reach me if they were to call before showing up. I told the dispatcher that I was also not in much of a hurry so we scheduled a service provider to show up at 8am. The driver apparently tried to reach me then didnt show up cause I wasnt contacted. So I had to call roadside and have someone else dispatched to my location. This required me going to a place that was not close to where I needed to be for the day to make the call. Again I was told someone would come out. Finally I got someone to check the trailer out and ultimately tow it away with the understanding that Id be getting one returned. Later I received a call from the person who picked up that trailer who I formed me that he would only be dropping the trailer off and was told that I would have to drive more than an hour from where I was spending the weekend with friends and family to sign a new contract and get a different to pull back with me. I spent the next 6 hours dealing with dropped calls, being transfered all over, and missing out on time with my family and friends because I had to stay in a spot when I had phone service. Now dealing with a battery on my phone that was about to die Im sitting there waiting for a call back to confirm a trailer being delivered to my location would be successfully dropped off. Since there were no trailers in the area that fit my needs and U-Hauls availability I had to settle for a smaller trailer when meant I had to then load a lot more things in the bed of my truck than I wanted to in order to feel safe. Lastly after I finally drop the trailer off I then get a call from the dealership asking me where their trailer was. Contact your roadside team. This completely ruined my planned vacation and turned the majority of my time into work. I want my time back. I want my money back. This entire experience was terrible.

This has been the absolute worst storage renting experience. After our unit was broken into and burglarized a month ago, only the hatch was broken so they told us to just put our lock back on it and use the same lock/key with new hatch. 3 other surrounding units were broken into also. The insurance company they provide they we paid for also has not responded to our claim filed back in February for our burglarized belongings. I called both the manager Angie and on site person Dora to confirm last week that we were moving out this Saturday and paid our final balance and confirmed gate/key/lock would work. We arrive today with our movers and our lock is gone and has been replaced with a new lock/key without our knowledge or without us having a key. We are locked out of our unit, no one has answered phones or emails and they don't even get in until 9 and we are paying our movers who are here. It is so frustrating to have both an unsafe storage facility and extremely unorganized employees. Would not recommend this facility to anyone.
Extra Space Storage
1761 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804, United States
I had to come here and rate this place because its already 3 strikes. First strike, the site says that office hours are 6am to 8pm, but after arriving 8am and waiting 20 min and it was raining and seeing that nobody was there yet, I called the number and they said that office hours are 930am to 6pm. I had to walk on the rain twice. I already had a very difficult day and this added to the stress.Second strike, Jason is always has a long face when I go to the storage. Its like he doesnt like seeing me there. I try to say hello but he just seems moody all the time. I feel like I am not welcome to go there. Its upsetting.Third strike, I arrived 5:55pm and the restrooms were closed. I go to the office and there were 2 employees and Jason says bathroom closes at 6pm. I tell him its still not 6pm it was 5:58pm, and I really needed to use the bathroom. He said that he couldnt open it anymore. He is always so unfriendly to me. It was inhumane. Employees should notify us since the beginning that bathroom closes at 6pm or put a notice in the door. (I wonder at what time they even open it or if they close it during their lunch time too, I have never used it). I almost had an accident there. I am so unlucky that the only time I really need it, it was closed!
Fix Auto Anaheim North
320 N Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805, United States
I am posting this on the Anaheim and Santa Ana locations since they sent my car back and forth between the two and blamed each other when things were not fixed correctly.Dont be fooled by the star ratings and look at the most recent reviews for this body shop. I drive a Mercedes G63 AMG. I have listed the series of events that happened from 7/20/23, when I dropped off my car, to current. In total, it took almost 5 months to get my car back from this body shop. The work they do is terrible, messy and poor quality. They will skip as many corners as possible. If you care at all about your car, take it somewhere else. I am still dealing with the aftermath of their poor worksmanship almost a year later.7/15/23 Car accident - I was hit from behind on the freeway. Damage: corner, tail lights, bumper, wheel well area.7/20/23 I dropped off my car at Fix Auto in Anaheim. They call me and let me know that Fix Auto in Santa Ana will be doing the paint job because the manager, Gilbert has years of experience with Mercedes. For about two weeks, I received auto text messages saying that my car is being worked on and then the messages stop. I call consistently to ask for updates to which they say someone will call me back or that they are still working on it.9/22/23 They let me know my car is ready & I pick it up. The next day I notice: overspray, sloppy paint job. New scratches and chips on the doors. The trunk door won't close. They did not screw the bolt in. The hinge scratched and dented the trim. Door seal is broken.10/3/23 Fix auto again - Dropped off car again10/21/23 They let me know my car is ready. I drive there and the issues arent resolved so I leave it there.11/6/23 - They let me know my car is ready and I go to pick it up. There was overspray on the rear drivers side door. The trim is messed. They added adhesive onto the existing adhesive and the trim stick outs.11/30/23 - Went to Santa Ana to pick up my car. My car is matte but on drivers door there is now a shiny area right below the window about the size of a grapefruit. The workers try to wipe it off. It doesn't come off. They need to repaint.12/7/23 I finally pick up my carI notice that the trunk door isn't as easy to close. A month later, I take it into Mercedes and they say it was not put on correctly and that they can adjust it for me but the problem may come back. $3007/10/24 I take my car to Mercedes because rear drivers side door isn't opening from the outside. 7/12/24 They say that an after market screw was incorrectly installed which voids the warranty. $900It has almost been a year since the accident and I am still dealing with the shody work that Fit Auto did on my vehicle.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.They have yet to reach out to offer compensation or apologies for the massive amount of inconveniences they have caused. I live about an hour away (each way, with traffic) and having to go there and point out what is very visibly wrong with the car each time was ridiculous.
Pho & Chinese Food
e 90744, 445 E Anaheim St, Wilmington, CA 90744, United States
I've go to this restaurant at least once a month. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is the brisket Pho, pork egg rolls, shrimp rice wraps, chowmein and the hot jasmine tea. The hot tea is loose leaf, served in a lil tea pot. So you may pour yourself as you go. They will give you a to go cup for what's left as well. All the condiments are on the tables already included the chop sticks and straws. They have fountain drinks and drinks in the refrigerator for you to choose. My favorite is the jarrito guava or the parrot guava. They also have glass bottles YooHoo and snacks like chips and chocolate bars at the front. The place is good for kids. My daughter enjoys the quiet ambience and the seating fits your party comfortably. The owner Steve and his wife are amazing nice people. The parking is ample as well. My favorite restaurant overall especially for taking my toddler.
Canyon RV Park
24001 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd, Anaheim, CA 92808, United States
Been going to this park for 20 plus years and will NEVER return. My family and I return every year on the same weekend with the Canyon Cruisers for their annual car show. Every year we reserve the same camp spot #102 for the following year. We have noticed that the office staff was getting more and more customer unfriendly with each visit but you only have to deal with them upon checking in then its away from them and camping with the family. Well thats when this story changes everything forever. We arrive on a Friday afternoon to check in along with many other folks checking in for the weekend, the office was busy and hectic . I pay and move to our spot #102. We set up and have a great evening. We have guests coming for a Pre car show BBQ on Saturday evening. At about 2:30 pm on Saturday one of the office staff (male 40, Light hair, beard and glasss) shows up yelling at me while I was asleep under a shade tree that I was in the wrong spot. I was shocked at the way this guy approached me and his level of voice. I told him he was the one who booked me last year for this year for this spot, He shrugged his shoulders and said to check my paperwork. I retrieved my paperwork from the RV and it had #106 on it. I went to ask him what happened and he was gone. There were an elderly couple waiting for our spot and I did not feel like dragging them into it. I went and looked at spot #106. It was the last spot in the park all dirt no shad, in other words the worst they had to offer. WHY would we book this spot? My wife went to the office and spoke to a young lady who said the manager was not there. She was able to confirm that in fact we have stayed in this spot for at least three consecutive years thus supporting what we were telling them. I got mad packed up and left the park.Today 6/6/17 my wife called and spoke to the same guy who made the reservation last year and rudely came into our camp site to kick us out. He checked their records and confirmed we had in fact reserved that spot for several years running and would NOT confirm the reservation for this year. He said the park has the right to change your spot with out notice. Then WHY make a reservation? He said he would NOT credit us back the $75.00 for the night we did not stay there. He would not use it towards next years reservation, he was VERY rude and had zero customer service. When we asked if they were willing to loose a returning customer over this he said its no big deal. Not only do I want to return and have some words with this guy!!!!! I feel like I entered the twilight zone. He made it very clear that the have enough customers coming they just dont care if you are happy or not. I will pass this experience on to all my car show friends, all my camping friends and anyone else that I think may want to camp there in the future. Has customer service gone by the wayside completely in California? I use to look forward to this family car show weekend.
Pep Boys
8205 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd, Anaheim, CA 92808, United States
After the repair, we drove off and the same warning indicator came on. We returned and the service advisor and the technician indicated it was the cleaning agent in the fuel lines. I confirmed with that the car was safe to drive. 2-hours later the car stopped moving on a very busy freeway (91), The car was leaking gas. After waiting 2-hours for a tow truck on the shoulder of the freeway, we had the car towed at my expense back to Pep Boys at 10:00 PM. I arrived at 7:50 AM and waited at the door to speak with the service advisor. Although the service advisor recognized me, he waited to exactly 8:00 AM to let me in. I explained that the car stalled on the freeway and gas was leaking. The service advisor stated that they would immediately look at the car. Around 1:00 PM I was notified by the technician that the car was ready and that the fuel line was not properly attached, and the car was now fine. I inquired if the car was safe to drive, or did the fuel line needed to be replaced.. the technician stated if I wanted to be positive that I should replace the line. I asked why this issue was not brought to my attention earlier, the technician stated that it was not an issue before. I inquired why is it an issue now, and he stated its not, but if I want to be 100% sure, to replace the line. When I returned to pick up the car, the technician admitted that he did not connect the fuel line. This is completely unacceptable. This is a flammable substance, and it's my son's car. Getting stranded on a very busy freeway at night put my sons life at risk for something that would seem very obvious to check.
CubeSmart Self Storage
1628 S Anaheim Way, Anaheim, CA 92805, United States
The decision for my departure started when my old credit card expired in January of 2023 and they couldn't resolve it over the phone or by mail. The old owners could resolve it by form mailed to them. It was stated by the person answering the phone that you couldn't update the credit card information over the phone or allow me to mail/email in a signed form and the update had to be completed in person. The person then directed me to an app that I could visit every month to enter my credit card information and make payment remotely. This allowed me to resolve the credit card issue each month so that I wouldnt be late. This was a temporary band-aid since I now live 350 miles away. Doesn't make much sense to say you can't resolve the card issue without a personal visit to the location, but you gave an option to perform a credit card transaction through an app, remotely out of state. When I tried to visit your facility to correct the card information during one afternoon, you were closed… The facility took a stance that they wouldn't open on some days (non holidays). It was a long drive in from out of state to learn you took some days off. Comparing to the previous owner, I could resolve it by fax or email and they were open 7 days a week.Luckily, I've never been late during my 26 years at that unit.I became more dissatisfied when this location raised the rent on my tiny unit by more than 100 dollars in less than a calendar year. Majority of the increase was right after CubeSmart bought the facility from Storage West. The overall facility conditions went from a great location during my original move in date during 1998, to a complete broken down dump at my recent departure in 2024. Both elevators were broken during my recent visit and the office didn't know when the parts would be in. It's an ADA lawsuit ready to happen, or at bare minimal, a complaint to the California State ADA Compliance office. The rent was extortion for the condition of the faculty. The facility doors at each building entrance went from a double wide door during Storage Wests ownership to a sealed up one half door and a single door that worked. The office condition looks like you ripped up the carpet and haven't afforded the replacement, the lighting was poor and the outside of the buildings look really run down.Overall, I went from a 230 a month for an 8 x 10, poor condition location, plus storage insurance, to a new facility charging me 121 for a state of the art 10 x 15. The new location allowed me to use my home owner's insurance to cover the storage unit… something that your facility wouldn't allow or didn't offer, or your staff wasn't trained on. So thats even more savings each month. Plus, the new facility has Bluetooth connected to my phone, so the entrance, facility doors and even the unit locks are operated from my phone when on the premises. It's light years ahead of the Anaheim location, for half the price. The only great compliment is to the staff member cleaning the facility and in the corridors. She was very helpful with helping us sweep and gave us a trash bag from the office. Everything else would be an embarrassment to recommend.
