U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sun Valley
7721 N Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505, United States
On Friday 2/5/21 I rented a 15' moving truck from the U-Haul location in Sun Valley, CA. The experience was a slightly different with COVID-19 restrictions, but it was quick and easy to get the truck. I took it back to my old apartment I was moving out of so I could get moving first thing in the morning. When I was ready to move, I noticed someone had spray painted graffiti on the side of the truck overnight while parked. I was angry that someone had vandalized the truck, but I was glad I had purchased U-Hauls safe move protection (since it was sold as protection against damage to the vehicle) I used the truck for 30 miles and returned it less than 24 hours later. Upon returning the truck, I notified the attendant at the Sun Valley, CA location that someone had unfortunately spray painted on the truck. He looked concerned, but told me not to “worry about it, it wasn't my fault.” I asked if there is anything else, I should be concerned with and asked how I would receive the final charges. He responded no and I will get my receipt by email. On Monday February 8th I received my email receipt with a “cleaning fee” of $150.00, to my surprise. I called the Sun Valley U-Haul to see what the fee was for, but they told me they had no idea and did not have notes, so they told me to call customer service. I called customer service and they said the same thing and that I would have to call the Sun Valley U-Haul. I called back again and said the call the manager who goes by “TJ” directly. I called twice and left a message. I called customer service once more to see what my options are since I am not getting any answers; at that point, they told me to file a customer action form. All these calls took about an hour out of my day and delayed my organization duties at home, the last thing I needed while moving was to deal with this.On Tuesday February 9th I received a call from TJ the manager, he told me the “cleaning fee” was for the graffiti. I was surprised since his attendant when I dropped off the truck told me “not to worry about it” and I assumed since I purchased “Safe Move Protection” from U-Haul I was covered. He proceeded to tell me I still owe the fee and that his weekend employee is not trained to take in trucks so he doesn't know better and should of not said “don't worry about it” and that the Safe Move Protection from U-Haul does not cover the graffiti. I told him I wasn't angry about the money, but the fact that they weren't transparent and it shouldn't of took six calls, an hour of my time and a customer action form to get my answer, which then he became flustered and condescending. He told me I should of called him directly, which I did and he proceeded to say he did not get a call. (I have phone records showing I did) Then he said I should not make assumptions about U-Haul's safe move protection product and that I was not covered against graffiti and that owe the fee.I read the contract and could not find anything saying I was not covered for vandalism.I write this to let you know the horrible experience I had with U-Haul, U-Haul's Safe Move Protection and its employees. I have used U-Haul many times in the past, but this will be the last time. I hope that anyone reading this takes into account that they sell their “Safe Move Protection” with many promises, but it fails to deliver. I'm disappointed that the manager or U-Haul did not even try to remedy the situation especially when there were so many flaws in their operation. From the poorly trained and misinformed employee who checked in my truck and did not inform me of the fee or that “Safe Move” would not cover vandalism. To the customer service reps who had me waste my time on Monday calling so many different places and finally to the condescending manager who could not even attempt to rectify the situation. I'm highly disappointed U-Haul

I rented a 10-foot truck to move from San Jose to Burbank, California, and paid $520 for mileage and equipment. After returning the vehicle in 35 hours when I had 96 hours to keep it. The guy reversed the fuel credit that they gave me in San Jose location for no reason I knew of because I returned it at the exact level I picked up. They left me with the impression that they were doing to help, but when in fact, they charge me three times the price of the fuel at the end when I cant go in to pick up the truck to refuel it and return to them. I couldve pumped gas myself at a fraction of the price. Im familiar with these industries the deception not so much. The customer service gal Mackenzie argued for 15 minutes the contract said the truth, not the guy who handed the truck in San Jose. I let them take the money anyway, but there is a story to be heard for others to avoid this unsatisfying and disappointing story. Why did they bother giving a fuel credit in the first place anyway, so they take it away?

Trailer Rental at U-Haul

I appreciated that I could drop off my uhaul early and not be charged an extra day I did not need. It was cheaper than they quoted! The 15 ft truck did not burn as much gas as I thought it would and it's pretty easy to drive as a female. Only thing I didn't like about driving the uhaul truck is that it has no backup camera and it's a complete blind spot directly behind the truck. Also remember to grab a dolly or whatever you ordered because the staff didn't remember to give it to me and I had to come back to the location to pick up. Great experience overall.

Go Green Bicycles

After 4 months and $400 to Tune up my bike and fix my brakes, I was left with the wrong brake levers that don't fit and a rear derailleur that's not working properly. The pic shows how far my rear derailleur goes. When I told them that the brakes were not acceptable, the owner became disrespectful and it just got worse from there. After waiting another month, I was informed that the right fitting break was on back order and I would have to pay even more for them. After 4 months, I told them I couldn't wait anymore. They told me to go find the proper brake lever on my own, at my own expense on eBay.When I picked up my bike and pointed out that they didn't even bother to fix my derailleur, the mechanic offered to fix it but I didn't want them anywhere near my bike anymore. At no point did the owner show any signs of doing the right thing so I'm out $400 and will be out even more to fix the problems they caused.Update: in her sad yelp response. She lied ... a lot. If she was really trying to call me as I was out of town, please provide the call log. Also, when she said my bike was in pieces, the wheels and seat were off and yes, of course it needed a tuneup. Thats why I mistakenly took it there. As I mentioned before. Totally Disrespectful

Los Angeles Equestrian Center
480 Riverside Dr, Burbank, CA 91506, United States
I don't think you can find a better place than this. This is like an oasis in the city. Everyone can have fun here. Learning how to ride a horse and seeing beautiful animals while your own kids are getting better on the horse back. This is place is huge. With 3 equestrian schools, I believe. You can find instructors that is right for your level and you can also make friends here. Most of the places here have no shades and it is hot in the summer, or most of the time. Sunblock is recommended as well as mask to block the dusk in case you are sensitive to dust.If you don't ride horses or you don't have anything to do here, walking around here is also a good option to exercise and to keep you healthy. Most people here are nice. The manager, Dale, showed me around on his golf cart and chatted with me. He said he could help with any questions and he's lived on the premises for years.Love this place, but please drive carefully as the animals are easily scared and they can be seen walking on the streets around here as well.

All Year Roofing Burbank
2516 Empire Ave, Burbank, CA 91504, United States
Jeffery did a phenomenal job assisting us in determining the roofing options that best suited our needs, and then ensured everything was carried out as planned, right on schedule. The value for money was evident. Weve had two roofing projects completed with this team, one for our commercial property and another for a rental trailer home, both executed with utmost professionalism. A minor installation issue cropped up a few weeks post-installation, but Jeffery promptly came out to Burbank and resolved it. Im very satisfied with both the appearance and performance of the roofs theyve installed.

I made an appointment for 10am online. I dropped off my car 10 minutes before 10am for brake service. I was told they would look at my car soon and give me a call with an estimate. Nearly 2 hours later I finally got a call with them asking me what was wrong with my car... absurd. I explained the problem in more detail. They said they would look again and give me another call soon. They finally call again to give me an estimate, which was way more than expected but fine, whatever. Ive been more upset by their timeliness and miscommunication. Anyway, I was told that my car would be ready around 1pm. 2:45pm rolls around so I call to ask what the problem is. They say the car will be ready in 15 minutes; by the time I get there. I pay for an uber back from my husbands office after waiting there nearly all day, cancelling any plans I had because ubering all over town is costly. My car is still in pieces so I sit in their freezing waiting room for an explanation. Im told an incorrect part was put on my car and theyre waiting for a new part to be delivered in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later Im told it will be another 10 minutes. Finally around 4pm I get my car back (an hour after I first arrived to pick it up). So Ive essentially wasted 6 hours or more of my day even after making an appointment ahead of time. Im incredibly frustrated and disappointed with the disrespect for my time. I was given a small discount for the wait, but that doesnt do much for me in the face of cancelled meetings and a wasted day. I wont be returning.
