This was only a drop off for me on April 6th of a 20 ft truck. Was very easy All steps along the way were surprisingly easy. I pre-rented the truck or I guess reserved it you would say I picked it up we filled it up and we I drove it out here to Antelope valley no problems. When we were done I dropped it off a mile from my house after filling the gas tank and it was smooth. Just dropped it off showed him the paper I think he signed something and that was it. I really liked the convenience.

We found ourselves in a situation where we had a vehicle transport scheduled for our military move across country and they failed to arrive or even inform us of their cancellation, leaving us in the lurch trying to find a way to haul our additional vehicle at the 11th hour. Although I never set foot in the store and ultimately wasn't able to rent equipment from this location, Itaska went above and beyond trying to find a solution for us even if it meant she would not get our business. I am grateful for people like Itaska that puts people and their well fair above making a sale. Thank you Itaska for paying it forward and I will look for the opportunity to do the same for someone else in the future.

This is my go to place for truck or moving van rental.First time I've ever had to use the roadside assistance but glad I got it and the safe trip insurance.Ever see a Silverado take a dump in a toilet? See pic. The safe trip covered it.Had to wait over 2 hours for roadside assistance but Jose was awesome. Had me back on the road in no time.

I called you guys to have my house inspected for how the rats were getting in. Instead of an inspection, he just said you're doing what I would do and if you caught one, then that's it he also said since there's no trees, and the roof is a long climb that somebody had to leave the door open So, instead of doing the inspection to see if there were other avenues for rats to get in the house, he just shook my hand and left, even after I asked him to do inspection. I just smiled and nodded and just simply agreed with him even though I was disappointed that he didn't even do his job and inspect the house he didn't even inspect the attic nothing not the garage nothing he just made baseless assumptions, gave me his business card and left. I will be working with another company that's more professional because at the least, he should've done his inspection to confirm that there were no other ways. Rats could get in the house but that's not what he did. He just did in my kitchen chatted with me and then left disappointed in this company.

I am a bit late on posting my review but I have nothing but good things to say about Extra Space Storage! More specifically I want to thank Tanisha the store manager who helped us with the entire process! Moving can be pretty stressful and has been in the past for my family. But I must say upon meeting with Tanisha, she made this entire process of moving our items into storage hassle free! Before choosing Extra Space, I searched a few other places and let me tell you, the prices that they were offering and for the amount of space we needed was insanely overpriced! That is why I'm so happy to have spoken with Tanisha! When I first called ES, I believe I spoke with a representative and she quoted me with the prices online. We then decided to visit our nearest location and was given the correct information thanks to Tanisha! She actually helped us figure out the correct space we needed and during the time we inquired about the space, there was an amazing deal that could not be beat! Soon after we seen the amount of space we would have to store our items and how much we would be paying monthly-we had to lock it in! What made the experience for me was really the customer service that was provided throughout our time with Tanisha! She was amazing! Well informed, personable, and just overall a pleasure to have been able to be helped by! I would definitely recommend Extra Space Storage and if by chance you are in the area and choose this location, I can bet you'll be glad you chose it! Absolutely amazing experience!

Our heating and air conditioning unit went out just after the recent holidays. We had a home warranty company that we thought had our back. Turned out they really didn't. After a frustrating 2 week back and forth with them, they finally had a HVAC technician come out to diagnose what the problem might be. We bought our home in July of 2001. It had just been built. For over 20 years we never had a problem until now. Our heating and air conditioning unit was over 20 years old. The HVAC technician said it could be repaired with some new parts, but he said the parts were very expensive and there was no guarantee that down the line in the future they wouldn't fail. His suggestion was to replace the unit with a new one. The cost would be between eight and twelve thousand dollars. Just what I didn't want to hear. After the frustration with the home warranty company, I really didn't trust them or him. We decided to get a second opinion. Our contractor who remolded our home called Johnnie from Pennies HVAC company and they sent a representative out that same day. He basically told us the same thing, but he quoted us a much better cost that was within our budget and that he could start replacing the old unit with the new unit the very next day, which I might add was a Sunday and it was raining.The guys showed up about 9:30 Sunday morning, worked all day until 5:30pm and got most of the heavy work done. Mind you, like I said, it was raining, rained all day. Didn't stop them though.We knew that it was going to rain that Monday and possibly Tuesday, so they returned Wednesday morning at 9am and by 2:30pm we had a new very efficient heating and air conditioning unit with an outstanding warranty.We are very pleased and would recommend Pennies Heating and Air Conditioning Company to anyone that has a heating and air conditioning problem.You can't and won't go wrong in my humble opinion.Thanks PenniesJ. If you want to rent a storage space where your belongings are subjected to deer mice poop (and pee as well because our stuff stunk like it) and the likelihood of potential harmful HANTIVIRUS and have it all over your belongings when you go to get them out then be my guest. Rented here for 2 months and went to pick up my stuff to move into our new home and discovered that I had deer mice poop in my brand new refrigerator, all over my new couches, my new Cal-King Bed, our childrens bed, on top of my microwave, my washing machine, my dryer, in my bag of bath towels, in bags of our kids clothes, all over our Christmas light and ornaments box, ALL OVER THE PLACE. As a matter of fact my last comment to the manager before I left was I am not responsible for cleaning up all this mice crap in the unit right? He answered No. He did explain that there were other instances of this and they were going to call their rodent/pest control out and let all the tenants know that they would need to access their units (after the fact). Keep in mind my stuff was in there for 2 months. On top of this all I am required to carry their insurance and (this is the best part) was told to contact the Premium Insurance that I purchased from them about my Deer Mice poop infestation problem. I contact the insurance company and they said sorry we dont cover rodent damage. They cover everything else shy of a Nuclear Missile Strike or crap that clearly wont or is on the High Probability list of not happening EVER in the city of Lancaster California (I.e. Tidal Waves, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Tsunamis, etc.) but not the obvious rodent infestation and damage. I spoke with management again and said this was unacceptable as I have 2 small children and my cancer stricken mother that will be in the house using the couches, the beds, towels, you know EVERYTHING I had stored in this unit. Their response was that this had to go up to corporate and someone would contact me in 48 hours. Keep in mind I asked to have the cleaning costs covered as I contacted a company (CHEM-DRY) and they gave me a quote to CLEAN and SANITIZE my belongings for $2,000.00! I didnt ask for BRAND NEW furniture, beds, fridge, washer, dryer, clothes, towels, etc! I asked for the cleaning costs to be covered so that I felt safe knowing that my belongings would be sanitized and habitable for use by my family. That was on Monday April 18th 2016 so I should have received a call on Wednesday April 20th, 2016 right? I had to call them today (Thursday April 28th, 2016, 10 days LATER!) just to get an update and be told that sorry nobody called you back. We can do our best to make sure it doesnt happen again in the future but we are not responsible for rodent damage (or health issues that could arise from breathing in mouse crap and pee i.e. HANTIVIRUS) and this is why we require you to have insurance (insurance that doesnt cover against rodent damage). If you are looking into getting a storage I would not recommend getting one at this location or any other extra space storage locations. For a company to place their bottom dollar over the health of a family and their young children is absolutely uncalled for and to not even consider working with the tenant on the cleaning costs to ensure that their belongings are SANITIZED is just beyond me. I cant afford the cleaning costs and had to wipe down and attempt to sanitize EVERYTHING. My mother cannot come into our home now. NEVER AGAIN!Let me make one thing abundantly clear. This is not a reflect on the assistant store managers (Cody) ability to perform his job as he followed every procedure that he could for me. This is a direct reflect on the Corporate office and their disregard for health issues/concerns that arise (rodent poop and urine) from storing belongings at their facility when rodents infest the spaces and shear lack of customer service in communicating with the customer when an issue like this arises.
