U-Haul Moving & Storage of Ontario
831 E Holt Blvd, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
I have used this particular U-Haul facility and business for the last 9 years that Ive lived in Ontario, California. As of February 1st I was evicted from my home and needed to get a truck to go ahead and move my items into storage as me and my family were becoming homeless. Due to the horrible weather that we had at the beginning of February I unfortunately was not able to bring the van back at its scheduled time I called the I called the building spoke with an associate and they told me that I should be able to have the van picked up if it was necessary to and when said called corporate and then regional I was then told that that was a lie and I also expressed that I wasnt able to afford to pay for the other days that would be charged because again Im a single mom about to be homeless they still charged me $160 plus $108. That is two nights worth of motels for me and my boys. And I have been in dispute with my bank and have now going to be in dispute with U-Haul Im not happy with my experience I feel that I was completely taken advantage of when I was already going through a really tough time in my life that yes poor decisions were made unfortunately I trusted people that I thought I could trust that were not able to have my back in order to get the van back at the appropriate time as promised but when the U-Haul came to pick up the van I didnt sign anything they didnt go over pricing with me they didnt go over anything. I did not even receive a follow-up call from the store manager who is adamant about not wanting to pick up the vehicle from me and wanting to call the police because I still had the vehicle and nothing I just get double charged and because the card went through thats it. Unfortunately after the situation I will never use U-Haul again I cannot believe the unbelievable amount of distrust that I have within a company that Ive used for so long that was always so accommodating to the fact that again being a single parent Im only one human with two hands. I understand that as a human I have to make the I have to make the moves on my end to make it work in order to use U-Haul or any type of truck facility cuz I am only one person but at the same time work with your customers. And so I wont be happy until I get my money back and even then I may never use U-Haul again especially U-Haul of Ontario off of hole boulevard.

Onsite Truck & Equipment Repair
1060 E Ontario Blvd, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
Very bad experience with this place, this place nearly put me out of business. 60 day warranty has no value when mechanics are incompetent.I went in for my freightliner shaking and tire wear, along with other problems that needed to be addressed.1)air leak on trailer brake chamber. replaced brake chamber but left the threaded hooked rod in brake chamber that keeps spring compressed while installing . i still had brake chamber air leak as well. i fixed myself and put dust cap on.2) replaced carrier bearing and they suggested i balance my driveshaft. Ok. paperwork says driveshaft came back with no issues and truck was test drove running smooth. This is on my paperwork!!! Truck shook so bad it was barely drivable. It was flat worn out due to truck having so many miles and Onsite making it worse and i do mean worse. truck was jacked up at another shop, run through a few gears and i saw for myself how bad driveshaft bounced and shook my drive tires. They told me I could have lost my driveshaft on the street. that could cause serious damage to my truck and God forbid my driveshaft were to hit another vehicle.3) rear brakes and drums. installed, 1 out of 4 brakes were adjusted correct. The other 3 would have put me out-of service at a weigh station had i not checked adjustment myself. i asked that S-cam seals be replaced. not replaced. not charged for it but not done.4) Leveling valve. Was charged for leveling valve. all they changed was leveling valve rod, which was 3 full inches to short from freightliner specs5) 3 axel alignment, oh good lord have mercy. they screwed that one up so bad. manager at a reputable place started laughing and wondered if the guy was blind. You can just look at it and see its off. other shop did great job, very happy.Onsite was very expensive. I was out of work for 3 weeks between Onsite and 3 other shops to fix Onsite screw ups. should have been 1 full week.nice people, but ill never be back again.

Audi Ontario

2/22/2024They will ghost u if u have issues.2/20/2024Hi Emil, if your sales person, Shawn Nabi and finance manager “Javier Rodriguez” did not Misrepresentation and Auto Fraud when we signed the contract at your dealership, I don't think there's a need for us to write this review.I do hope you explained very clearly to us but I don't think that's the case. Image you are the customer, you tripled checked with the employees in the dealership, confirmed all the details and hand them over your old car. But then you found out they actually lied everything to you. How do you feel?If you don't understand, let me tell you what your Sales Rep Shawn Nabi said. He told us that your dealership has a Mercedes Benz sister store and they can just take our leased vehicle without us paying any fees, such as the excess mileage fees, tears and wears. To confirm that was true, we tripled checked with him and he said “Yes”. When he and Javier Rodriguez, finance manager, were both in the office room, we asked the same questions again and they both confirmed that with a “Yes” and no additional documents were needed. We had many options when we were shopping for cars. And Your dealership was not the first on our list. But The reason we chose your dealership was because the EV incentive, the car return offering and we thought we could trust an automotive group that has more than 50 years.

This proves us it is wrong and your dealership will lie everything to get your customers to sign the contract. And once they figure out your lies, you said you are not responsible for that.2/19/2024I have never written such bad review for a car dealership but I feel like I should. I want everyone who is going to purchase their cars from this dealership aware of these and avoid getting cars from them.My overall shopping experiences in this Audi Ontario dealership was horrible, disgusting and very dissatisfied. You wont believe how bad the services you will receive from such a big automotive group -Walter's automotive group (est 1964).Here's the why:1. Misrepresentation and Auto Fraud & ”Bait and switch advertising practicesTheir sales and finance department do not have good knowledges what they are selling and offering. They lied about the EV incentives and our car lease return in order to trick us to sign the contract. They used the trusts from customers to close their deals.

Shawn Nabi was the sales rep who sold us the Audi car and he had stopped responding to our texts, phone call after we found out he lied many things to us when we signed the paper. And the Javier Rodriguez, finance manager, was being pushy and lied about the lease car return when we signed the contract as well.Recommendation: Record every single words from them if you really want to get a car from them. But keep in mind they don't admit their lies.2. Unprofessional customer servicesOne of the Sales managers, Brett McKinley tried to step in the case, but he really pissed us off. His attitudes and his words were extremely rude and unprofessional. He said “Yeah, go ahead and feel free to post it on the social media”But Credit to Chris Blair, he is very professional and knows how to calm angry customer.3. They never follow up

We had to make 4- 5 trips(2 hours drive each) and at least 3 -4 time calls to follow up the case. They promised they will give us a call back to talk about their cases. We even gave them extra days but no phone calls from them at all. I don't see any sincerity at all and I think they should be exposed. It is really Funny that they said they are helping us to make our car lease return easier and convenience but their lies are just making us very inconvenient. With all these events, it proves me that there is no way as a customer to trust this automotive group even they have such long history. And its pretty clear that they don't really care about their customers and keep what theyre promised. I feel like I got tricked to sign the car contract.** If you want to be the next one, feel free to purchase the cars from them.

CubeSmart Self Storage
1372 E 5th St, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
I recommend this place. I initially reserved a rental at Public Storage due to thats the only one I knew of. I moved and had the movers to take my furniture there. When I arrived I was able to look at the storage space. Omg there 10 X 20 was upstairs and I had to use a lift that was to small for my belongings and the entrance door was small as well. I DARE NOT have the movers to work even harder than they have been. This was not what I was told by Public Storage call center rep. I was told I was guaranteed a lower storage. Of course none was available. I then remembered seeing CubeSmart storage while scrolling thru internet a few days ago. I contacted and the call center rep was friendly and understood my situation. It was easy to set up with contactless purchase. They had what I needed and they gave first month promotion. I arrived to the location and they had the storage already ready to store. Once I got there the movers decided to tell me I needed bigger storage. Ohhh boy.. The staff constantly checking the property talk about good timing. I asked her if they had a larger storage. She immediately found a larger storage unit. Talk about good customer service. Only for the movers to tell me I needed a larger unit than this. Ohhh boy again. The staff advised I could rent 2- 10X20s after checking my property load. She located 2 storage units and gave me the first months rent using the promotion. Its not to pricey for the price of two. The entire staff for that shift made it VERY comfortable. Thank you so much. Tara, James and trainee

Ontario Convention Center
2000 E Convention Center Way, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
I try not to be a negative reviewer, but the service received from Ontario Convention Center left me with no choice. First off, on a positive note: The convention center is a relatively new and aesthetically pleasing site to host a convention. There are ample housing options within walking distance. The airport is practically across the street. The staff are courteous, but always seem nervous. That about ends any positives. The admin of the OCC seems to be cutting corners and shaving money left and right. The crowd control and traffic flow is atrocious. On the first night of the convention as people were arriving, they had one parking lot attendant selling tickets to their very limited lot. With 4000 anticipated attendees, the line for parking stretched into the boulevard and around the corner. When the lot filled, the guy kept selling tickets which created a nasty snarl inside the parking lot before help arrived to open up an overflow lot across the street. Fortunately, there was only 1 kiosk attendant which restricted the flow of traffic. This is sarcasm for: It was very bad. Do they not know how many parking slots are in their own parking lot? They shouldve anticipated the masses and had the overflow lot at the ready. They also shouldve had people to direct the car traffic to that other lot. Btw, on subsequent nights, their remedy was to bring in a second attendant for thousands of attendees. Parking was still a nightmare. The security checkpoint was a similar nightmare. They claimed it was for your protection, but in the end, I believe they were there to enforce the No Outside Food and Drink rule. BTW, check out other reviewers comments on the food situation. How do you have only 1 guard at a main entrance checking the bags of thousands? Again, can you say, understaffed, bottlenecked, ineffective, idiots.Ok, to end on a positive note...if you were to have a small event at the OCC that doesnt require staffing. Perhaps a small (50 or less) wedding or company meeting. This would be a decent place for your consideration. However, any event where the attendance is expected to be higher, be wary of your preparations and make sure the OCC staffs your event properly.

Banderas Truck Driving School and Truck Rental ...
13020 S Bon View Ave, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
This is my honest opinion about this trucking school so hopefully people read this review and actually take it in consideration. My experience at this school wasn't so great. Laura is very good at selling her business but it's not a good school at all. It's all false advertisement. If you like being professional and you're a very punctual person, then you'll definitely hate this school. You will not learn how to be a good truck driver at this school. You will pay more money than what she charges you, whatever you pay upfront is not the full price because she will change you more money. All she cares about is money, she could care less if you pass at the dmv. You only get 3 hrs of drive time with her and after that she charges each hour which is about $200 right now. Ask anyone who knows about trucking, and you won't learn how to drive a truck in 3 hrs. That's a joke. However, those who drive manual cars do get it quicker and learn fast because they're used to it. But if you don't, good luck. Also if you don't pass on your first try at the dmv, she will charge you to take you to the dmv after that every time. You will definitely not get your moneys worth. She has no patience to teach and she cares more about her truck than her students. If you grind gears she will not let you drive her truck and kick you out of the school after your first dmv appointment. During my time at this school, she denied 4 students from coming back. That's pretty messed up and you look stupid when you go other schools asking for an opportunity to rent the truck. Everyone learns at their own pace. You get yelled at and she will threaten you all the time when you make mistakes. She has her favorites also so not everyone get treated equally. Also she sometimes doesn't notify you when she cancels class so you'll be there like an idiot waiting for no reason. She also shows up super late and changes the class schedule to her own liking. Yes this school might be cheaper than others but you'll pay more here than other schools, I promise you that. I now have my Class A and it cost me about $5,500 overall. I was actually taught better at another school and they gave me a lot of driving time without being charged. You're not guaranteed a Class A and the purpose of a school is for them to help you get the license. I would not recommend this school to any of my friends or family.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ontario Airport, a...
2280 S Haven Ave, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
Stayed here for one night and I was given quite a spacious Standard Room with a Twin Bed. It was a room for wheelchair accessibility so not sure if other rooms in the hotel have this much space, but everything was modern and updated with very high ceilings. Probably the highest Ive ever seen in a hotel room surprisingly. The lighting in the entranceway and bathroom was quite dim though. They could definitely go for some brighter bulbs. The staff was also friendly and they let me check in a couple hours early and check out an hour later which perfectly worked out with my flight times. An even earlier check in option was also available at a fee. The hotel also provided a shuttle to/from the airport. A receptionist had initially told me that they run and stop by at the airport every 30 min but you actually have to call the front desk in advance to let them know where/when to pick you up.I had a couple minor complaints regarding the bathroom however. The first was the shower. Because it was a wheelchair friendly room, there was no separation between the shower and bathroom floor, and the water pressure from the shower head was so strong that water spilled out all over onto the bathroom floor area despite the curtain. I eventually figured out that there was a button on the shower head to control the flow but it was a really sensitive button and more of an on/off switch for the shower, but I found out a way to position it just right to make it work. The shower fixture itself that held the shower head was also loose and needed tightening/replacing. And second, the AC vent in the bathroom was making random noises and rattling at night. Significant enough for me to notice and wake me up.Apart from that I enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back here in the future.

The Home Depot
1355 E Ontario Ave, Corona, CA 92881, United States
I have been shopping from hardware stores for a long time, mostly homeowner shopping due to small-medium remodels, repairs of all kinds. I normally avoid Home Depot (since I first visited them in 2005). Sometimes,I ended up finding myself in their store, it just happens despite my avoidance. First, expensive pricing for almost anything, once you enter the store you know there is a rip off and all items (except HD brands) are sold %10-20 above the market price. Their we match any price motto is a scheme that makes customers think that their prices are the cheapest illusion. Third (yes 3rd), their selection is poor, there are not many variations of goods. I came to this conclusion when I was shopping from Menards in the Midwest. You put two stores side by side, and, say a special faucet part is absent in Home Depot, and there are even more selections in Menards at a much lower price. Home Depot has not been changed on this over the years. Second, their customer service is literally bad. Maybe this is taken from a company training, those guys always act on the rude side. Not happy to take questions, if you can find one, since they do not like being visible to customers in the aisles. All the way from Midwest, East and here in the West Coast, the associates are very arrogant with a handful of exceptions. When I asked about an item which turned out to be not carried at all, I commented on Lowes have it in stock, the associate by the kitchen aisles responded then go and buy it from Lowes was a prompt confirmation of my thoughts on Home Depot. I took his kind words and did the business with Lowes just to make that guys day. Yet another instance, shopping for some wood planks, the damaged stack came to my attention and asked about the discount, then the employee said there was none, the price was the same. When I questioned on this very meaningful pricing policy, he said go ask the manager. After finding the skinny bearded manager, he seemed even more upset and ignored me with some rumble words in this very Corona store. I understand they would not be as motivated to do business as Craig Menear but, at least, being good to customers always pays back in many ways...As a result, when you put rip-off prices combined with limited selection plus bad customer service, I really keep on avoiding Home Depot and whenever I go inside, I look at the people shopping there and say myself what could have brought all those folks here.

Rancho Ontario 55 Community

9/26/23✔️Roses trimmed✔️trees trimmed✔️Streets being worked on✔️Old street cleaner back✔️owner visits park✔️Landscapers returning weeklyIt's nice to see the work being done. Credit where credit is due. Please remain consistent on an ongoing basis and reviews will jump up.9/9/23The rose bushes and shrubs finally trimmed after many months. The gully trimmed up. Hopefully management will be proactive not reactive, and the landscaping will continue to be done on a regular schedule and the current gardeners will stay with the park for an extended period of time. Mission is an excellent, professional landscaping company.Again fingers crossed???Consistency is key.9/1/2023The ongoing landscaping. Lack of consistent care. The rose garden pictures I am posting are a good example. People walk by this garden every day and comment on the mess it's in. The inclination of those of us who take the look of our homes seriously is to clip the roses ourselves, but that is not our job. The maintenance people go by there every single day to open the laundry room door and clean the area around the trashcan, but again are blind and apathetic to the condition of the park. Maybe supervision by management would help.We are having street repairs done as of this week but so far we were notified of work 5 hours after it started. The flyer placed on the mailbox five hours after the work began is signed Office Management. This tells me they are managing the office not the park. They are partially repairing cracks and leaving others untouched and creating new ones. The company packed up and left after one day. So in my attempt at giving the benefit of the doubt let's see if the company returns and finishes the job. Fingers crossed?8/24/2023Going on 4 weeks of lawns not being mowed. Management posts in monthly magazine to mow your lawns but falls down on upkeep of grass in park. This is not the first time. They fired the streetsweeper company and hired a parking lot cleaner who I kid you not has a guy following behind with a broom and dustpan. This is not a small park. Anything to cut costs. It is a management and owner issue. the red curb pictures are after the street cleaner guy. He just pushed the debris into peoples driveways. The residents here get 5 plus stars for tolerating a substandard management- they get the one. Time and again park being neglected and residents ignored. Todays latest was a county health inspector shutting down the pool. I'm just guessing, but perhaps management cut down on pool maintenance. Who knowsThe neglect list is long. I'm tired of contacting the owner. Andy Goetz is his name. He is listed on Cabrillo management site leave a message he does get back to you, but when nothing really changes I wonder how aware he is of his managers activity. He says he's open to all and any concerns but I'm not impressed. Not responsive. The park website paints a pretty picture but If you're thinking of buying here make sure you take a very close look at how the park is maintained ie the street, the gully, weeds growing up at the back of the park, litters of kittens, stray cats, possums under trailers, bird poo on benches, dogpoo that doesn't get hosed off on the property that the park is to maintain.,The plot lines being moved so residents have maintain areas and trees the park owns. The apathy every time something is mentioned. And don't complain because the park views those people as “ entitled idiots” as published in the park magazine …. Just look closely. The neighbors are great but we all agree on one thing management sucks.Yes we do have a great new community center and dog park. 5 million dollars worth. You would think that with all that they wouldn't let the weeds grow over the new landscaping but I have a different idea of how you maintain property. The added photos were taken to send to the owner because management and maintenance seem to have a blindness for issues. Also check out Yelp reviews 2.5 stars
