I rent from budget out of monterey airport California and always receive exceptional service. I cant say the same for the budget located in Hemet Ca. When I picked up my rental from Monterey I noticed the car had quite a few large scratches. At this location a pre inspection is not done. I didnt mind the scratches and began my 350 mile drive. Half way there on the free way the crash warning light turned on with no car near me. This happened multiple times so I manually disengaged the driver brake assist. The front right tire also knocked and vibrated like the ball joints were bad. I made it to my destination with 3 kids in the car safely. I did a closer look at the vehicle and noticed the front grill was cracked right by the sensor that controls the assisted driver braking. There is also a dent on the bumper with what look to be spray paint where there was damage. The front driver tire also has a large gash with paint transfer from a previous accident. I called budget and advised of the unsafe condition of the vehicle. I was not going to risk our lifes driving this 350 miles back home. I was advised to take it to the nearest budget. I called the local hemet budget and advised my situation. The owner kary Marzi, not sure if he is the owner but thats what he told me. He said to bring in my vehicle immediately and they would give me another vehicle. I brought in the car to the hemet budget and kary was complaining about his, previous customer, very unprofessional. He then helped me and asked for the pre inspection report. I let him know that one was not completed. His response was I dont want this to be my problem just call road side assistance! Im at budget with a faulty vehicle and I need to call road side assistance? I asked him to do that for me and he said,it was not his problem. At this point I asked to write a contract that he is denying me a safe vehicle. He then got close to my face and said this was not his responsibility. At this point I said get out of my face and began recording audio of this insane man. I drove 1 mile back to my families house and called road side service. I told them my situation and waited 2 hours for them to tow away my previuos rental and bring me a safe vehicle. I didnt mind the wait but this man should not have the opportunity to take his bottom dollar over the publics safety. Thank you budget in hemet ca for ruining our family road trip. Update tow truck driver just arrived with no replacement car. What a joke... Final update it took budget 8 hours to replace my vehicle. I has to,dive in,a,tow truck to find an open location. Nearest one 1.5 hours away at ontario aiport. No refund was given to me from customer service not even for my gas i have to spend where I was picked up from. Definately looking into legal options after this.

I planned to meander towards orange county. Have my gallbladder checked out. Then maybe another meeting in La Jolla. Just some time to in beautiful California before heading back towards Canada.I showed up to the East Hemet location with my reservation number I made on-line.I was judged on my appearance upon arriving and told the policy was that cars cannot be rented without having a physical America address???They said they wouldnt give me a car.I had just left backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail. So I looked like a backpacker.I offered to rent a room from my phone but was told I wasnt getting a car.I phoned head office escalations twice (Kenya 1st call disappeared without a reference number) second call to get the reservation honoured took an hour and a half. Head office instructed this location to honour my reservation.Escalations claimed they have a policy in which they need to know where the vehicle was...hence the need for an adress.I suggested they all cars have GPS. I kept pressing for it and finally they caved. It was a farce. Will (assistant manager employee number e911s0) for some reason, takes his calls to his manager ( German Moren ) on his cell in the parking lot away from the service desk. I cringe to hear what he might be saying. They have a long way to go to understanding social awareness:( asked me for names and numbers of 3 additional people and work history. Current adress history. And charged me an surprise $200 deposit!Cassandra (also needs customer service training) was asked by Will for her password after I swiped my card. I hope he doesnt pin the interaction on her :(In the lot Will showed me to a smaller car . I said thats not what I ordered. Then came the dirty Nissan Sentra that had someones possessions in it. Not what I ordered but at this point I wasnt surprised. Stained seats. So very disappointed :( Shame.I usually only post positive but in this case I hope my post encourages Will and this location to improve.I mean look at the stains ? grossUPDATE...1 WEEK LATERThe photo of the stained seat was removed from my review by google I suppose and the rep Tosha has not followed up with how they might avoid this in the future. Oh well here is the photo again to see if its taken down again.

I set up an online reservation for Wednesday the 18th of April. I called and requested to be picked up. Toni, who answered the phone, told me they did not have any truck available at the moment just cars and they will call me when a pick up truck becomes available. I said ok.I canceled that reservation and I set up another one for next day(Thursday 19th) at 8:30am. I called back again to let them know. Same lady answered the phone and she told me Yes it will be available tomorrow morning. We will call you to verify before the end of the day and we will pick you up between 8:30-9:00 am. No one called me on Wednesday at all to verify. SO, I assumed they will have the truck available for me.On Thursday, I waited to be picked up but no one came. 9:06 I called back and told them I was waiting. Michelle, the lady who answered the phone told me I did not know that, we have you written here as a walk in. Hold on. I waited for 5 minutes on hold then she told me We dont have any large pick up trucks available. Would a large SUV will work for you?. I said:No, I requested since yesterday a pick up truck and no one called me to let me know it was not going to be available I assumed you guy will have it. So, she said We will keep your reservation open and when it will become available we will give you a called back. I said ok. She said But we cannot pick you up. You are too far from our location. I will transfer you to the location on east Hemet. I said no I dont want to make business at that location I had issues there before(read my review there) and you guys have picked me up from your location before. She replied sorry we cant. Toni is working at the East location today and she will be taking care of you. She is aware.Anyway, I waited the whole day and no one, no one gave me a call to let me know they were not going to have a truck available at all.Why is that? What kind of customer service is that?Really bad customer service very disappointing. They did not seem to care at all. What is happening with the management in these two locations? They used to be really nice and on the ball at this Hemet location at least better than the East side. Disappointing.
U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hemet
380 N State St, Hemet, CA 92543, United States
To whom it may concern,In May of this year my Fiancé I moved my things into two (2) separate units in Hemet, California, entrusting you with all of my family's earthly possessions. July 26th we were informed that the AC unit located directly above one (1) of the two of our storage units and water was flooding into our unit pretty profusely. We were told that we could get out as much as possible but that they closed at 7pm so we should hurry. So we moved what we could salvage from the water and did not want to further put at risk out of the flooded unit while employees watched us slosh through out wet belongs. We moved the things we were most worried about such as our electronics, games, camera equipment, baby shower gifts, children's clothes and toys. We moved the things of importance to a unit across from the flooded unit. We took a loss on all of the things damaged in the flooded unit and we took it with a grain of salt. Fast forward to November and we're being told that the unit we were given for free wasn't free at all because they auctioned it off without so much as a text or phone call. Everybody at the storage location is assuring us that all would be well once we speak to Sylvia Brooks, whom I believe is the district supervisor. My Fiancé then spoke to Sylvia who tells us not to worry that she understands that they made a mistake, is extremely apologetic, and won't even bother to go through insurance because she wants this taken care of personally and promptly. She ask for an inventory which we send to her and she follows up by saying she contacted the buyer and that he cannot sell us back our things because he already sold them. She also tells us that he says it was just some games and junk ( junk that sold pretty quickly I guess) in the unit and she can only offer us $1,500 of what was at least $7,000 even with depreciation. We're told that this is a best and final offer, take it or leave it! So the price she placed on items we never intended to sell, the start of our new life, and documents pertaining to our family's identity is now only worth $1,500 to uhaul. All of our kitchen supplies for Thanksgiving were in that unit (standing mixer and attachments, pans, dishes, all of my bakeware for business and our family). My fiancé works as a photographer part time and all of his equipment was in the unit along with all of our gaming equipment. I had a baby in July and all of the things from my baby shower are gone along with my other children's clothes and toys. All of the things we needed to start our life now that we're in our dream home gone and we're being told to try and replace it all for $1,500. We haven't heard a single word from Miss brooks since she gave us her ultimatum. What about our documents with sensitive information that were sold to God knows whom. I complained on social media only to have them pretend to be sympathetic and have me spend the day calling around from representative to representative to insurance and back. This is not the way consumers who spend their last dimes to rent trucks and storage units from you should be treated. How is this an ethical business practice? We've been told that there is no one higher than Miss Sylvia Brooks and that she has the final say. I was under the impression that this company was run by an Joe shoen but Miss Brooks apparently determines how the company operates since no employee knows a single piece of information on whom to contact when such a travesty is happening to one of it's customers as a result of the company's mistake. I want the reader of this to know that you cost our family Thanksgiving and that my child is without even necessities because you have sold them. We sleep on a floor due to misfortunes brought on by this company and I hope that when you get comfortable in your chair with a hot plate of Thanksgivings best food that before you even take that first bite you remember that my family will spend the day knowing that the UHAUL Corp. stole ours from us.

My husband and I rented a trailer for a day. We picked it up around 9:30am and my husband and brother in law dropped it off around 4:20. My husband went inside, bought 3 drinks and let Mandy (she says she's the owner) know that he was there to drop off the trailer. She told him okay just unhook it and leave it where you picked it up. He asked her if she was going to send her worker to unhook it or check it and she said no that she would go do it later. On Saturday morning I got an email with a charge for using the trailer for 3 days. I called them and she answered. She was very rude on the phone and told me that she was busy with a customer and would call me back and just hook up the phone. I decided to call Uhaul directly to their customer service line. They put in my complaint and told me that Gary the field manager would be calling once he had the situation resolved. Mandy returned my call later on that same day and told me that she had called my husband and he told her that he had gotten stuck at work and that's why he kept the trailer. I don't know what number she supposedly called because she did not speak to my husband. I started to argue with her and let her know that wasn't true and that I had already talked to uhaul and put in a complaint and just left it at that. Not even a minute later Gary calls my husband. This man didn't even give my husband a chance to explain anything and was very argumentative. Gary told my husband that he was there after closing and never saw the trailer on the lot that he hadn't seen it until Thursday Gary told him that we were going to be charged for 2 days and be refunded for the 1 day. My husband told him to check the cameras because he had gone into the store and bought drinks. Gary refused to check them. Either way doesn't make sense for them to charge me 3 days when they say they saw it on Thursday. Go here if you want to get ripped off. Definitely never doing business here again and don't recommend for you to either.

This above paragraph is in response to your response: I described my vehicle exactly as it is. You had signed me up for True Commercial at $99 a month. In order to be true commercial under state farm you must have a motorized piece of equipment permanently mounted in the back of the van or truck that receives its power from the vehicle. I never stated I had this in my van so no I did not describe a vehicle that qualified for the plan you put me under. After the underwriters reviewed the application they saw that this was the case and that the plan had been incorrectly categorized. That is when I was switched to private passenger for business use. Had you responded with any type of apology I would have removed the review. Instead you respond with a lie, unable to admit that you made a mistake. Thanks for caring about your wallet more than your clients.I can see why you are getting poor reviews. I had gotten a quote and it was great. You really hooked me.A month later I was told that it was going to be almost $60 more because my vehicle didnt qualify as true commercial. Why didnt you know this to begin with?I was told that first month would remain at the original rate and then I would pick up paying the higher fee from the next month on. The next month I paid the higher rate PLUS the difference. Why didnt you know this to begin with?I went to switch agents. In the process of switching, now Ive gotten my bill and it is another $60 higher again! Why am I paying over $120 more a month than what you originally quoted me?? I say avoid this office just like those before me. You have not once apologized for your mistake nor taken one ounce of responsibility.

I bought my car out of this dealer brought it back because the suspension was making noise and the steering wheel was crooked they took it in the lemons was off they say they redid it better steering wheel still crooked and the suspension still make noise bring it back after a week and they took it back in double check on it they say everything is on the respect everything was fine but they soon will still crooked and the suspension still make noise brought it back for the second and third time until they say they the promise of the car has or normal I will let people Josh and see if what you think about it I think the people who works on this place dont have any idea of how to repair car or how to diagnose a car even the manager came out to talk to me and trying to convince me that all this problems that the car is having are pretty normal I will not recommend anybody to come to this place and have the car service I dont think they got any idea of what they are doing and the people there work there that supposed to be certified I dont think their certification its worth their anything if they cant fix problem again this is personal opinion if anybody has a good experience with these people which I doubt it feel free to comment on this post. Heres some pictures that I took myself when Im driving this is how I supposed to drive and I put the car and at shop and look underneath the suspension and this is what I found on the struts which it makes me think that this might be making the noise but they say that thats totally normal that the car has no problems at all even though the noise is even coming back worse every time I stop or I make a turn its making that noise now that I dont know want to bring it back due to they going to come back telling me that its pretty normal period for the manager I did and all the review he came back to me saying the car is on respect and they usually you having s because you drive a lot I wonder if any other people have a same previews like I do will it be able to let me know if they have this type of problem because I drive a lot which I think its a pretty incompetent response from him which probably to go to school and study a little bit more about cars and before he answers any of these questions

Id like to say that first of all, everyone was very friendly compared to other dealerships. Ron and Eddy were very professional and kind. When I traded in my Hyundai Sonata I told Eddy that I wanted the same features on a new car and that Lane Assist was EXTREAMLY important to me. I test drove one SR model and liked the way it drove so we went back and looked at a few more Altimas. I made it abundantly clear how important lane assist was to me and spoke about how convenient lane assist was multiple times with him, he agreed. After continuing to look at a few different Altimas I decided on the one in the showroom floor because it had all the options I was looking for in the particular color I liked. I decided to make the purchase. Eddy asked me if I would like to test drive the car and I declined because I had already drove another SR model and felt this would be redundant since Eddy said it had all the features I wanted. While we waited for loan approval Eddy asked me to sit in the car and began to show me settings and features on the touchscreen display. He was going through all the touchscreen features when Ron came over to the car and told us to come over to the desk because he had herd back from the loan company. We went over to the desk and completed the sale.On the way home to Nevada, I went through the cars menu and found no option for lane assist, I then googled how to turn it on and it stated to hit the blue button on the bottom right side of the steering wheel. There was no blue button and the button where it should have been was not a real button.I called and spoke with Eddy and since I needed to pick up my old license plates, I went into the dealership. Eddy got in the car and went through the menu and turned on the Lane Departure Warning and said THERE YA GO! I said, No, thats only for a warning chime when you go over a lane in the road. He then apologized and I had to get home asap so I left. On the way home I got a call from my mother, Eddy had just called her and told her that we figured out the lane assist and everything was ok. Im not sure why he did this.I have done research as to installing this feature after the fact and it seems to be impossible. I have call third party companies that offer lane assist addons and none of them seem to work with a 2023 Nissan Altima. I am very very very disappointed that this car does not have this feature when I repeatedly stated that I wanted this feature and was told that it did.Im not sure what to do at this point.
