Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Sacramento CA, has the best customer service ever. I rented a Dodge Durango for my trip to Mt. Shasta. The vehicle was spotless, no odors at all. They were friendly, respectful and went out of their way to ensure I was provided with the vehicle that best suited my needs and that I was happy with. Seriously, these guys could give the other car rental agencies classes on how its done. Bravo gentleman! And thank you!!!

Due to a most peculiar set of circumstances, the likes of which could only happen it a place like California, the necessity of repeated car rentals has been thrust upon us...to the tune of up to a dozen or so a year...even adding the price of a rental to each time we go to buy groceries. Even in such a circumstance, the service provided by Enterprise Rent-A-Car has proven reliably to be a bright spot. It seems that no matter when a reservation order is made, they are always able to meet the need. The ride service is especially helpful for people like us who have been stripped several times of our own wheels and finally left under virtual house arrest. There is an irony connected to the pick-up service in that several years ago, when one of us provided our own ride to the agency and were invited to leave our car overnight on premises, a break-in of the car left us out much more than the price of the rental...including for the replacement of door and ignition locks just to get our own car back home. We especially like the weekend special feature as it allows us to more safely take care of business in a calmer, safer way than rushing through a single day rental. We only wish the rate for weekend had not been increased. We are appreciative as well for the increased flexibility that Enterprise now offers regarding car pickups and drop-offs. Well do I remember being stranded years ago at an Enterprise agency, at night, in a not-so-safe-feeling area of south Baltimore. Yikes. So, do we recommend Enterprise? You betcha!Oh, and we forgot to mention-- The agency which, with others, has done so much to make our lives a bit easier and more mobile, is the one on Power Inn Road, in Sacramento (city), California.

I'm an active platinum member with Enterprise and I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I've relocated to Sacramento and have been a customer at this location for a year. I reserved a small economy vehicle for 2 days and used 500 points to cover 1 day and I was left with a balance of $46 + $200 hold =$246 should've been held on my card. The new manager “Hector Cibrian” charged my card twice and held $246 twice.= $492. I have serious concerns about this new team at this location. Last week, I returned a vehicle that I had rented for 5 weeks and when I went to finalize the bill $685~the rental was not in my name AND the dates I had the rental for were not correct! The assistant manager “Ethan Kristensen” held me up 45 minutes scrambling around and turning red faced trying to figure out what to do! And when he finally corrected the situation there weren't any vehicles left for me to rent that didn't need an oil change, he offered to clean up the vehicle I just returned (I had 5 weeks) that needed an oil change. So I left without a vehicle that day. Only to return 3 days later to a deal that proved to be even worse. I just wanted to upgrade my vehicle from a Chevy Spark to a comfortable size 4 - door vehicle and this situation turned into a complete mess...and I ended up in an SUV and my costs went up (changed substantially). I was railroaded into this SUV situation because the manager “Hector” move around so quickly I didn't have time to think and he will go on to the next customer or walk outside and come back in the middle of your conversations. He's an extremely agitated and inpatient person. Please Note: I have to note also that it's better for you to take whatever you get because even if there's no customers in the store the manager “Hector” will move so QUICK and DOUBLE CHARGE your credit card and NOT be clear or accommodating to you. So be prepared to get ran over!!! And by all means do not leave your credit card on the counter while your discussing your rental, it will get swiped very quickly without him going over your charges until after he's swiped! I'm so frustrated/stressed because I have another monthly rental I'm going to take out, I'm not sure if this location will have the vehicle in my class and if they don't am i going to be charged all these extra fees in order to get into the next class level?!..... this new management suck!!!!!!! ??

We rented a Mercedes Metris for the week and the experience was perfect! Steve arrived at the airport early and met us at the curb with the car. It was clean and ready to go and comfortably sat all 8 of us (and all of our luggage)! When we were ready to return the car, Steve met us again at the airport — on time and with a big smile. Fantastic car and fantastic service. So much better than a mainstream rental agency! Thanks Sac Van!

I'd like to take a moment to recognize four outstanding employees within Enterprise. Two of them are out of the Antelope California office and the other two are located in your Las Vegas airport office. Their names are Jose Veronica and Brendan Gill (Antelope California branch) and Miranda Griego and Nouvie Johnson (Las Vegas airport branch). My family and I rented a vehicle from the Antelope location to head to Las Vegas for a soccer tournament at 4:00 AM. Before we left we noticed that the rear tail light and rear blinker was not operating correctly. We had to get on the road at 4:00 AM and did not have a chance to contact Enterprise and swap out the cars. At 8:30 AM (already on the road), I contacted the Antelope office and spoke with Jose. He advised that I could go to any enterprise and swap the vehicle out. We couldn't find a location on the way that had an a sedan available. Jose advised that we could get into a bigger veh and they would cover the gas. We waited to get in town. We attempted to see if the vehicle could be repaired at a local Pep Boys but the issue was bigger then they thought. At this point we attempted to get a different vehicle in Las Vegas. Jose called serval Enterprise locations for us but everything was rented out and stores were closing at 3:00. He then advised that the airport (15mins away) would for sure be able to assist us. I called the airport and spoke with Miranda Griego and she was so helpful, kind and professional. She advise that we call her first thing in the morning as they should have a few sedans in for us. We called her at 9:00 AM and she said, yes we have a few sedans and for us to come on down so they can take care of us. When we showed up we had the pleasure of working with Nouvie Johnson which was calm, cool, and professional. She promptly got us into a new sedan with 15mins. As we were finishing up with wonderful Nouvie, Jose called me to check-in to ensure we were able to obtain a new vehicle. I was so shocked and thankful that he was checking in on us! Now fast forward to us returning home and dropping off the rental vehicle back to the Antelope location. We were able to meet and thank Jose in person which felt great!!! Then Brendan Gill took over to ensure we were fairly compensated for our troubles. He discounted our rental fees and covered some of our gas. He recognized that we had to go out of our way in order to attempt to repair the vehicle and swap it out when the repair couldn't be preformed. I know that I have a long story here BUT these four individuals took their jobs extremely serious in providing my family and I with an ultimate customer service experience. For this I will continue to rent vehicles for my future travels through Enterprise. I cannot say enough about the staff at Clubsportiva! They are professional, friendly and accommodating. I rented their new Dodge Viper and it was outstanding! It was so clean and presentable. They even taught me how to operate every control of the vehicle which is amazing, unlike enterprise where they just give you the keys without knowledge of the vehicle. All in all I will definitely be returning back and renting more of their fine exotic vehicles!

I rented a car at the Sacramento Airport office for 3 days last month. I was grossly dissatisfied with the service that was provided in accepting the vehicle. The clerk acted in a very snippy and curt manner, unable or unwilling to answer most of my questions (e.g., general driving directions to my destination) and providing only the most basic info. The Garmin GPS she provided had a dead battery requiring an exchange at the outset. No apology was offered--only a shrug of the shoulders. The new GPS did not have any audio, but I left the office as I was running late. Upon returning the vehicle, the attendant did not initially note that the gas tank was full, so I had to spend time reversing the fuel charge. The service was by far the worst Ive ever experienced at a car rental agency.

If you have a problem with your vehicle, youll get the run-around from the rental counter and not get a credit or refund for your trouble.We are 18-year Gold Members and can attest that Hertz customer service has gone from one of the best to one of the absolute worst. At least Enterprise (also owns Alamo and National) attempts to be supportive, and helpful, and work with the customer on vehicle issues.We had to return a vehicle a day early because someone prior had smoked tobacco inside, and my wife is allergic to tobacco smoke. Not to mention the nasty chemicals arsenic, lead, ammonia and formaldehyde also present in tobacco smoke, it stays in the fabric and materials of the vehicle and gets into your respiratory system. The smells-like-flowers shampoo treatment doesnt remove the chemicals. For those allergic, it burns your sinuses like inhaling smoke off a campfire.The rental counter agent said they would adjust the rental period, plus a discount for our trouble. This discount was promised to appear on our final bill, and yet the full amount from our original reservation was billed. No refund, no credit, no adjustment. Return a rental early with trouble, and youre charged in full.We tried calling the 800 Hertz number, multiple times, only to be put into the we are experiencing higher than normal call volume penalty box and never talked to a live human being. That is the most insulting robo-message any company can hit customers with. It says our company cant manage our demand with the right number of employees so try calling some other day and maybe, or maybe not, well have our act together.The Hertz online customer Contact form was tediously filled out 3 times also only to receive an unknown error when we hit submit. Different browser and computer it didnt matter. We tried the online chat option, and we were told Call the 800 number and speak to the billing department followed with submit an online message through our website.Classic. Neanderthals could provide a better response.Goodbye Hertz at SMF - you failed miserably. Not following through after giving the customer the smoke and mirrors treatment is insidious.There are too many other car rental options that would make amends, and not just treat a customer like a credit card number.

Just said no & take pictures.know one checked for any problems when we dropped off. Use to be car rental agency would give you the 3rd degree

Watch out for the details in your agreement regarding what is defined as a 24 hour period or day. I never seen such tactic before. Dont count on your reservation being there when you arrive. Also, dont let them change your reservation rate to a higher rate the day you arrive because the car your reserved is not there and the car they have is a bigger car at a higher rate.Also, be careful with any corporate rate you have. They wont honor that rate, it will be lower than what was agreed between the two corporations.Ill be going to another rental agency. It is too much of a hassle at this location.
