U-Haul Moving & Storage of Carlsbad
6175 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011, United States
DO NOT BOOK HERE.I originally scheduled to pick up a truck on the Oceanside Location. Then a rep from this location, by the name of Bri, called me a few times to explain that I needed to pick up a cargo van from this location instead. (since they were out of trucks). She assured me that everything was ok and I could drop off the cargo van at the original Oceanside location after hours. Next day I wake up to a $300 charge for dropping it off at the wrong location. This is so unprofessional. I submitted a refund request and was told I would be called within 48-72 hours...Its been a week already and havent heard an update. Horrible service, will never rent from here ever again.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and go somewhere else.

High quality work delivered on time & on budget.I recently had the pleasure of working with Mastercraft Improvement for a bathroom renovation project, and I cannot express how impressed I am with their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to excellence. We had interviewed and received bids from 10+ contracting firms (as weve had less than pleasant renovation experiences in the past), and are so glad we went with Mastercraft. From the initial consultation with Laura the designer & Brian the Contractor to the final touches, the team at Mastercraft Improvement demonstrated a level of skill and dedication that surpassed my expectations. The project manager, Jeremiah, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand my vision for the bathroom. He provided valuable insights and suggestions, ensuring that the final design would not only meet my needs but also exceed them. The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. I was kept informed about the progress, and any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly. This level of transparency and responsiveness made the renovation journey much smoother and less stressful than other renovations weve done in the past. The craftsmanship displayed by Mastercraft Improvement is truly commendable. The attention to detail and precision in their workmanship were evident in every aspect of the project from Patrick who dropped off the trailer, to Casey who did the demo, to Aaron who did electrical & Edgar who absolutely rocked the drywall (and many other parts) and Jonathan who did all of the tile work - truly everyone was fantastic. I can not stress enough how OUTSTANDING Jonathans tile work came out & how helpful he was to guide us through making discussions about grout and color schemes. The whole team took pride in their work, and it showed in the quality of the finished product. What also sets Mastercraft Improvement apart is their commitment to timelines. The project was started & completed on schedule, and they adhered to the agreed-upon timeline & budget without compromising the quality of their work. This reliability is a testament to their professionalism and organizational skills.Throughout the renovation, the team demonstrated a high level of respect for my home. They maintained a clean and organized work environment, minimizing disruptions to my daily routine. The care they took in protecting surrounding areas from dust and debris was greatly appreciated as we have small children at home.Laura the designer also helped us find materials that were in our budget and helped guide us on what items would be worth it to splurge vs save. I would have been lost without her guidance and feedback on the design!!In conclusion, my experience with Mastercraft Improvement was nothing short of exceptional. They not only met but exceeded my expectations for a bathroom renovation. If youre looking for a construction company that combines expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results, I highly recommend Mastercraft Improvement. They have earned my trust and gratitude, and I wouldnt hesitate to work with them again for future projects.

Chucks Tire Center
6221 Yarrow Dr STE E, Carlsbad, CA 92011, United States
I recently purchased a new tundra at carlsbad they sent my old tundra and new tundra in to swap tires and tpms sensors to chucks tire place unfortunately for me my experience wasnt a pleasant one. I asked if they could loosen some running board bolts and bullgaurd bolts just so I can uninstall it myself as well the owner said no that they were going to charge for that as well. Even though they were charging toyota and not me I feel like they overcharged for the service they did. After leaving this place my tpms light came on I had to come back Monday to get it fixed they said they had not swaped the sensors and even tried saying that the old sensors would not fit that I would have to buy new ones. To top it off the old tpms sensors did fit and I waited about 2 hours for them to swap the sensors when thats what they had originally charged the first time around and said they had done. Overall my own experience was not a good one they lack communication and as for thier building they have no sign or lettering to let you know ur in the place they only have a small sign at the bottom of the entrance door. i live in san Diego and the comute of going up north for a mistake they did was a complete waste of time for me as this shows either they were lazy to the job correctly or werent really doing the job correctly the first time around. Overall I am dissatisfied with thier service and hopefully someone from this shop reads the reviews they get so they cam improve on thier customers experience.

Public Storage
6211 Corte Del Abeto, Carlsbad, CA 92011, United States
I stored my household belongings and boarded a plan to Hawai‘i for 2 months, upon my return I find my 50” TV has been stolen from my unit. I was told by the staff another tenant had been evicted recently and had stolen property in his unit . I cannot imagine how it must feel to have your home broken into, because I had only my TV stolen and I feel so violated. The Manager on duty's response was pretty much “well at least you have insurance”. I'm only home (SD) for 4 days, Not enough time to find a different storage and move my things, which would cost me even more to move. I do not feel safe at all leaving my things here.Yes you can put a nice strong lock on the door, you could put two locks on the door, however anybody can walk across the top of these units and look in and see what you have and break in to what is basically chicken wire covering the top of the units . Which is not even bolted down, I pushed up on this and several places and it came up. The chicken wire type cover seems to only be attached on the corners and one or two spots in the middle of the unit wall. The top of the units should be secure along each wall of your unit, not just corners. I have to take my high dollar items and store them at a friends home. While paying for “secure storage”!!! I'm so upset, this is taking up my short amount of time home (police report, filing loss claim with insurance company). Oh and read the small print, it doesn't cover much (standard $11mo insurance coverage $3,000). 0 stars!!! Can't wait to get back home and get my things out of storage, if it's still there when I get back. Flying off to another state with stomache ache and stress, thanks Public Storage!

Toyota Carlsbad Collision Center
6030 Avenida Encinas #100, Carlsbad, CA 92011, United States
Was the victim of a hit-and-run on Camp Pendleton and brought my 2014 Tundra to get repaired here based on the reviews and the proximity to where I live in Carlsbad. Original estimate said it would only take 3 hours to repair my front drivers side fender. Drop my truck off on a Friday morning and get a rental hoping itll be finished by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.Didnt hear anything Monday or Tuesday, got called by Enterprise saying my vehicle was due, and had to physically show up at the shop in person because no one would answer or return my calls. No one could tell me the status on my truck but they assured me they contacted Enterprise and handled it for me.A week later, after again having to call Wednesday and Friday to get some kind of status on my truck repair, Im told itll be ready by 4pm on Monday. I return my rental Monday afternoon and show up at the collision center to pick up my truck. Estimator apologizes for the repair taking so long and sends me on my way.I later get a call from Enterprise saying USAA wont pay for the week I was in my rental because according to the collision center, there were no delays in parts or repair time, when in actuality it took close to a week and a half to repair. I ended up having to come out of pocket for the rental because they werent truthful with USAA.The work this shop did was good, but they do a terrible job keeping their customers in the loop, they dont return phone calls, they have multiple managers who are never really there, and they are not upfront with customers or insurance companies. If youre a servicemember or have USAA, I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone. Its too difficult to try and get ahold of these people for even the simplest of information regarding your vehicle.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club MarBrisa Carlsbad

Well... Our room was not ready when we arrived an hour after check in time. We arrived after 5pm. The rug in the living room was FILTHY you could feel the stains and dirt on your bare feet. The tub in the master bath was missing a lever which caused the water to shut off having us call maintenance. The bathroom fans do not shut off and are pretty loud. Well they told us the fans are hooked up to the building not to a switch in the bathrooms so there was nothing they could do except give us a new room. As for the lever that was missing in the big tub we were actually accused of breaking it by the maintenance guy he kept dancing around the fact that it should be there, what happened to it ? When in reality after he took the faucet apart he found it wasnt there. We were also told that there was nothing he could do as he didnt have the part to replace it so he showed us how to stick something like a knife into where the lever goes to push down the button on the inside in case the water went off again in case the water shut off again. We had to live with it or we can get a new room. As for the carpet they maintenance was there and they did look at the rug they took pictures of it and then they offered us a new room or that they could come and take it and wash it and then bring it back or we could have a new room. They did come and take it away they told us they were going to wash it and bring it back well we never had the rug again they never brought it back. You may wonder why we never took them on the offer of a new Room, thats because there were four of us and we had already unpacked we had already brought up with several trips to groceries for the whole week that we were going to be up there and had already placed all the groceries away we basically did a lot of work to do this and not once when they offered us a new room did they say that they would help us move any of this or where this room would be and as they didnt even offer us a free drink or anything complimentary for all the inconvenience there was no way we were going to take a chance of having to Lug all this stuff to another room on our own. Besides I was there as a guest of my sister who is an elite partner owner whatever they call them with this resort and I expected more from all the inconvenience not once did they say here why dont you go to dinner on us while we fix this or here why dont we give you a free drink not once we we offered anything for the less than Easy 8/Motel 6 experience we had.

Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort and Spa

I had a terrible experience at my stay here, involving very unprofessional employees.Let me start from the beginning:My boyfriend and I came here to spend some quality time for our anniversary and his birthday. While checking in, we were asked if we'd like to opt in or out of cleaning services, and we decided we wanted to opt out.The next day comes around and my boyfriend and I were getting ready to leave for the beach. For his birthday, which was a few days prior to our trip, I bought him a hawaiian beaded bracelet and for security and safety reasons, my boyfriend decided not to take it to the beach with him, but to place it carefully on our room's TV counter (rather than the safe since we had opted out of cleaning services) before he began spraying SPF. When we came back from the beach, we noticed the bracelet was gone and also noticed our room was cleaned by a hotel staff. This was made very obvious (& later confirmed by Supervisor checking the cleaning log) because we had IN-N-OUT the night before and our takeout bag wasn't there. Of course we were upset but this was the last night of our trip, we came back late, and had dinner reservations to get ready for so we decided we'd worry about the bracelet as we checked out tomorrow at 12PM.The next day as we were packing, we looked relentlessly and every crevice of our room and unfortunately didn't find the bracelet. We went to front desk and told them the situation while also checking out. Cleaning supervisor comes out, we repeat the situation to her, so she goes and checks our room, also unable to find the bracelet. She then tells us there's practically nothing she can do but her manager and the worker who cleaned our room would be there tomorrow, past our check out day, and that the manager will call us.Our interaction with the manager, Rene was extremely unprofessional. First, he was never the one to call us, my boyfriend called 2 times until Rene finally decided to call back. Second, he accused us of lying, which we aren't nor do we have the time for, while saying multiple lies himself like he heard we left the hotel and came back to report the bracelet missing (lie) and then mocked us by saying if it were him in this situation, he would've reported it the day it went missing and things could've potentially been different (also lie). The timing of which we report something doesn't change the hotel's policy, which is the reason they claimed to be so helpless. We didn't want to ruin our stay and we didn't think we'd have dealt with such negativity and unprofessionalism. We were certain we'd find the bracelet with the help of professional staff but unfortunately that wasn't the case. He also accused us lying about opting out of cleaning services when he never checked with his own front desk employee; clearly the woman helping us clicked the wrong button and opted us in even though we made it very clear we wanted to be opted out.All in all, my boyfriend's bracelet is still lost and stolen and not one person from this company/team tried to offer us a solution even as simple as checking their lost and found. I'm extremely disappointed with my stay and the situation we were put in that could have simply been avoided had the staff been more diligent with their customers and had opted us out, and if the staff were apologetic and helpful in finding the bracelet that I had JUST purchased for my partner. Not to mention being accused of liars rather than offering an apology for their own mistakes.

LEGOLAND California Hotel
1 Legoland Dr, Carlsbad, CA 92008, United States
Detailed,Honest and Tips for You review:We stayed at the California Resort arrived on a Sunday left on a Thursday the staff is incredibly kind and helpful however we were told the pool was closed yet as we passed by the entrance to the pool there were people in it...lack of communication between staff needs improvement. Food: If you are a guest breakfast is FREE at Bricks throughout your stay woohoo! Guests have 2 options Bricks Buffet and Skyline also guests MUST RSVP PRIOR using OpenTableApp to dine there but access to food is limited allow me to explain--- Bricks Buffet only accessible for breakfast and Dinner ni room delivery options for breakfast pancakes, french toast, tatertots, buscuits n gravy scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs oatmeal with the fixings, cereals coffee decaf hot tea selection NOTHING IS LABELED so eater beware... no almond or soy milk I have a child that can only have almond milk we were screwed...so BYOAM. SKYLINE: This place isnt opened through the week. Which is madness this would be the only restaurant accessible through the day to guests.. tell me why management would close on weekdays throughout the busiest summer season is beyond me...so you will be forced to either go accross to the Castle resort or order UberEats or PostMates now when Skyline is open food is fantastic they offer a separate menu for room service but room service will cost you extra....Pool: safety is their priority very attentive and friendly pool was clean towels and life swim vests are provided for the little ones hours are from 9am to 9pm. Plenty of seating water is heated. Also you as a guest have access to the Castle resort pool its about the same but they have an outdoor playground area for the little ones.Rooms: Clean comfortable beds AC worked amazing, restrooms clean spacious tub shower good water pressure shampoo and conditioner are nailed to the walls as well as handsoap, 2 water bottles 2 juices 2 keurig pods chocolate and coffee complimentary, Keurig coffee machine good size mini fridge with a freezer section microwaves NOT included but there are microwaves on each floor near the elevator as well as soda vending machine.LaundryRoom: Non existing even though the website says theres one. We confirmed with staff.**Dear readers do pack water bottles, coffee creamer, almond milk, popcorn, yogurts, hotpockets... its amazing how water was so hard and expensive to purchase...I would just buy a pack of 24 waterbottles from Costco and take that lol and dont forget to take your own Keurig pods if you desire something fancier.Another perk gyrsts have EARLY ACCESS to Legoland!! My advice...go to the park at 3pm but hit the aquarium first to kill time the crowds die out around 4pm so you totally avoid waiting in lines!Legoland Waterpark: reserve your cabana prior to your trip they do sell out plus you avoid having to hunt for a spot to sit. Theres 3 options all cabanas provide the same perks EXCEPT the number of seating. We are a family of 5 so the $250 option accommodated seating for everyone 2 layback chairs 2 regular chairs big fridge with 4 big waterbottles you get a totebag with 2 towels. Towels are NOT provided so take your own. Food at the Waterpark theres 2 restaurants or theres a menu in your cabana which your host will bring to you using the texting number they provide but honestly the food is not that good go to the restaurants instead. Also there is NO COFFEE so bring your own Starbucks iced coffee cans, redbulls,Monster energy drinks...we as parents are driven by caffeine how can they not provide us with caffeine...madness I tell you!The water is not heated there my baby was shivering.Their website is out of date do not believe everything you read if you have children that are on special diets as I do PACK THEIR MEALS and CALL PRIOR TO YOUR STAY to request a microwave they will provide you with one.

PODS Moving & Storage
2820 Whiptail Loop W, Carlsbad, CA 92010, United States
It should have been made clear that pods will not deliver to a city address with on street parking before I made the commitment to using this service. I had been quoted for a delivery of the pod to my original address, storage in their facility, and delivery to my new address. Four days before they were supposed to deliver to my new address I was told they could not longer deliver because it was on street parking. That being said, I do not think that I should have been charged the amount that was quoted as there was not a second delivery. I had to rent a moving truck and do the final haul myself, instead of the last delivery that I had scheduled. I was also told that my pod would be in the parking lot of the PODS facility when I arrived that morning but when I got there it was not there. I asked the man at the front office where my pod was and he instructed me to go behind the building to ask someone over there. So I walked behind the building where there were tons of forklifts driving around, I had to wait a long time before I could wave someone down. Finally after getting someones attention, they told me I wasnt supposed to be there as it was unsafe (I shared these sentiments) and I let them know the front desk man told me I had to. He was upset but promptly apologized and got my pod. It was anything but an easy process with pods. They also pushed my delivery back a few days (can be expected).

Flower Fields

This review has been on my mind for a bit. Ive been living here for a little while now and I have to say I love it so much. The community is amazing and the grounds are well taken care of. Huge shout out to Nate for helping me get settled. He was super informative, friendly and made me feel very welcome and at home right from the start. So why not 5 stars you ask? Because of Angie. She is the other person that works in the office and any newcomers (and quite frankly current residents) should steer clear of her by any means necessary. She is the most unpleasant property manager I have ever had the displeasure of working with. If you love straight up aggressive phone calls and borderline harassing emails, then shes your gal. She is the one reason I might not consider living here in the future. Im not sure why she is in this line of work because she is so off-putting and downright rude. If she had been the one to initially show me the apartment I would not be living here today.Im writing this review from my misc email because I am scared of what she might do if she knew I was writing this review. But I feel it would be dishonest to not give newcomers a heads up.So pro-tip to all potential future residents:STAY AWAY FROM ANGIE! Only speak with Nate if you are able.Keep in mind she is always watching you from her desk in the office. I know other residents who actively avoid her as well. Its an ongoing conversation Ive had with several of my neighbors. If Angie ever leaves (a girl can dream) then I would definitely bump this review up to 5 stars.Id like to end this on a positive note so heres a big ol THANK YOU to Nate. He is amazing and I really appreciate how above and beyond he goes in making new residents feel welcome and safe. Truly a man that knows how to treat people right.
