Overall, lazy and indifferent customer service.I rented a 10 truck for one day, along with 2 dollies and 6 blankets. When paying, I was asked for the estimated mileage, to which I replied 25 miles. I returned the truck 1 hour before scheduled, at 24 miles of use, with the gas refueled, and and the interior of the truck quite clean as I had swept it prior to the return and there was no trash or any other items inside other than the dollies and blankets, which were in a small pile next to the dollies. I went inside the facility and returned the keys to the customer representative slouched in a chair behind the desk, chatting with a work colleague. He took the keys and said, Youre good. I asked if he needed to inspect the truck, to which he replied, Nope, well email the receipt. Three days later, the final charge on my card was $25 more than expected. I checked my email for the receipt, which had not been sent. I took the time to return to the facility to inquire about the additional amount. The same person was slouched behind the desk, and he informed me that the amount was just a temporary additional hold that would disappear in 3 to 5 business days (without even consulting the bill). I replied that the final charge had cleared the card and asked for a printed receipt. Begrudgingly, he opened the transaction on the computer and printed a receipt, and handed it to me. It was here I discovered a $25 cleaning charge had been added. I asked why, given the truck was returned clean. He mumbled. Well, they take pics, which he proceeded to look up. There was a single pic of the 6 blankets. You didnt fold the blankets, he said. I said, They charge $25 to fold 6 blankets? At a rate of $125 an hour, based on simple math? He shrugged and said,Its in the contract. I replied that wasnt pointed out, and he replied,we dont point all that stuff out.Unfortunately, this persons ambivalence and laziness overshadowed the decent experience I had with the gentlemen who provided service when I got the truck. I highly recommend that you seek another provider for your truck rental needs. There are other providers Ive used within reasonable distance of this location that provide a much better customer experience.

I moved recently and needed to rent a van on two days in December - the 23rd and 26th. I was pleasantly surprised by the service that I received and the convenience scheduling they had so close to the holiday. This is a small local business and Im very happy that I was able to support it.I met three people and all three were outgoing, kind, and helpful. I was met at the road when I returned the vehicle and didnt even have to go inside. I received my receipt via email in a very short period of time. The billing was spot on and I really appreciate that they didnt waste the paper of printing everything out.I also want to point out that other reviews have a lot of hyperbole around the fact that there is a dog at this location. Bella (the dog) is probably one of the best trained canines I have met. Shes a sweetheart. Shes running around with a tennis ball in her mouth and trots up for a pet. I really cant State strongly enough that there is nothing frightening about this dog.Now with regards to parking, this business is located in an urban area and there is limited parking on the street. Its very limited. My opinion is that this is normal for this type of area. The other shops in the area also have limited parking and I have never had a U-Haul place that had unlimited free parking. So to put it simply, plan ahead.I want to thank the staff for making my two days of hauling and renting the pleasant experience. Anytime I need to rent a truck, this will be the place that I go.

Greg has been excellent to work with! This is my second time renting a trailer from him. The first time I rented a 16' enclosed trailer to move some furniture from an apartment. The second trailer I rented was an 18' enclosed trailer to move a classic car. Both trailers had plenty of tie down rings for straps. He has been more than helpful and accommodating in getting the trailer that would work out best for my situations. He has excellent prices and I would definitely recommend renting trailers from Speedy Trailers. There are multiple trailers to rent for all kinds of needs. Any trailer rentals that I will need in the future I'll rent from Greg from here on out.

When I started renting here 5 years ago, I was paying half of what they had just bumped me up to. They raise their rates constantly and advertise move-in specials to new victims, not existing, loyal, paying customers, whom they gauge with making up the difference.When I got the unit, they had 4 bathrooms available for use. They closed all but one and it is the one right by their office. If you have a unit at the end of the facility be prepared for a walk. They drive golf carts so it doesnt matter. When I reported the restroom broken they shrugged and said they would put an out of order sign on it. Really? I pay $330 a month for a unit you will rent for $180 to a new customer and you turn the lights off on me every 2 min, close the only bathroom and lock up the handcarts when you go home? So after they leave, dont count on using one of the carts they advertise you can use. Also, if your card expires or you dont have funds available when your Autopay hits, they force you to use a credit card or go in and pay. You cant use the bank account you want and you cant call and pay over the phone. They have a service that will charge you to pay by phone. Poor service, poor understanding of their system, the manager indicated that the gate access code could not be changed and that they always lock up the carts. I have been using Public Storage since he was in kindergarten and both statements are not true. I do like the the access hours. Thats it.

Decided to use a local family owned moving company for my move from CA to FL and boy I am so glad I did. My realtor mentioned several clients had used Terry Moving & Storage. Their prices were competitive with the larger national companies PLUS you get the excellent customer service that a smaller local company can provide you. Jim was my initial contact and was great to work with in getting my many questions answered on what was included in the price. Mark was great about keeping me informed on the arrival date window. The local crew that loaded the truck were ROCK STARS! THey showed up right on time and were so understanding of the emotions and craziness I was dealing with trying to get the last minute items packed for the truck or my car. They offered to help with whatever I needed and I took them up on that. I would put items in a certain place and they would quickly pack those last items up. What a BLESSING they were!!! Such hard workers. I was amazed at how quickly they moved everything into the truck. Well coordinated crew! Mark kept me informed each night about where the driver was and that he was still on track to deliver at the expected time. Fortunately for me, the truck left 2 1/2 days AFTER I did or it would have beat me to FL! Les was such an amazing driver!!! He also coordinated the FL crew to unload the truck and that went extremely well also! Those guys were hard working, very considerate of my belongings, put the boxes in the appropriate room, and set up the beds/furniture that needed it. They also asked if I needed any assistance with anything. They would move whatever I needed before they left. Another ROCK STAR team!!! Everything was loaded and unloaded carefully. So far have not encountered any damage. I was so pleased with how everyone at Terry Moving made this experience such a positive one for me!!! This is my first big move across the country and everyone did what they could to make it as painless as possible. I was so grateful! There were no surprises; everything went as I was told. Everyone I encountered with this company was kind, considerate, professional, and hard working! JOB WELL DONE EVERYONE!!! I highly recommend this company to anyone moving locally or long distance!!!

I rented a storage unit this week. The person who helped me was informative and helpful. He showed me different units so I could make my final choice. He even honored the web special price. I asked him about the first month being free special and he told me that the banner had an asterisk and that meant they could exclude the 1st month free if they were almost full. Which he said they were. I completed the transaction with him and put some things into storage today. I happened to access the website to show a friend in the neighborhood and I saw the asterisk meant that the discount excludes Administrative and Insurance fees, not the almost full bs. Well now I feel Ive been duped. Well played storage salesperson. Im not going to cancel my storage, but Im not going to give them the 5 stars I was expecting to either. If you get nothing else out of this review, please check your asterisks.Response to Owners Response: Free 1st Month When its Available? What does that mean? You put a banner on your location with free month. Your website says free month. Then you use my cookies after I went on your website to follow my wife and I around the web with your free month ad. Once we pull the trigger on a storage rental you say its not available. Very convenient for you. Great false advertising ploy. The discount is available when you make it available.Honestly, if you had never offered the discount I would have rented the space. But, because you used it as a carrot and then pulled it away I feel screwed. I changed my review to a one star. 90% of my reviews are 5 star. Not this one.Update:After 4-5 months they raised my monthly dues to demand. I ended up moving next store to the ? storage place. Better price and I got my free month. No asterisk.

What happened to Billy? He had the best customer service skills and was the whole reason I have come back to this place time and time again. I hope the new person is as just as good and easy to deal with as Billy was because if they are like the lady that was there before Billy, Im going to be disappointed.This place is great. Its clean, well lit and they have the best access hours. Billy is wonderful! He takes the time to work with you and he always finds solutions to any issues you may have. This is my boyfriends and my third time coming back to this place because its the best storage facility in all of OC! I currently have three units there and everytime I had to ask Billy for his help getting the best rate, he always gives me a list of different options and lets me see which works best for me in terms of keeping costs reasonable! Its good, hard working people like Billy that really make customers happy to come back year after year to A-1!

A few days ago, I submitted a review regarding a phone conversation with Lauren and the unbelievably helpful information she gave me. This (very lengthy) review regards JoLynn McCullough and includes an awful lot of background I left off of Laurens review. If you dont have a lot of time and want to skip the background, skip down to the ***** near the bottom of this note. As I explained in Laurens review, Im having trouble with a dealership that has, literally, stolen my refund from the cancellation of an extended warranty I had with Portfolio. I cancelled due to the manufacturer warranty, not Portfolio. But thats not the point. The Legal Director for the entire Auto Group refuted my claim with the Arkansas Attorney General and included a copy of a Portfolio form (it had the Portfolio logo on it) as proof I wanted the funds from my cancellation used as a down payment. Criminals arent smart, these Arkansas criminals are really sloppy (I was going to say stupid but JoLynn probably wouldnt care for that). All the information was type-written except someone wrote to be used as down payment in cursive as the reason for cancellation. Believe it or dont. I was easily able to prove the other documents submitted were complete frauds but I had never seen this form before. I knew it wasnt a form used to verify application of funds from the cancellation but didnt have any idea where it came from or what purpose it served. Finally getting to the point. The only help understanding this form would have to come from the people who it belonged to: Portfolio. I was certain I told Lauren I wouldnt call again (she insisted it was no problem many times) but really, really didnt want to go back on my word. After all, I am not a Portfolio customer and no one at Portfolio owes me anything. After trying to get the answer on the internet I was stuck so I tried to call Lauren but she wasnt at her desk. ***** JoLynn answered and asked me how she could direct my call. To me, that means one of two things, operator or receptionist. After telling me Lauren was away from her desk and asking if I would like to leave a message (I said no), she asked if there was something she could help me with? She told me she was familiar with the form I was calling about and then I knew I had hit the jackpot again. I began asking questions and the extent of her knowledge on this form and everything having to do with the extended warranty process was remarkable to say the least. I asked question after question and she was so gracious and willing to take the time to explain her answers so someone unfamiliar with the extended warranty process (me) could understand them. Then she made sure I understood and answered many questions, that would certainly have come up later, before I even thought of them. She was so helpful and giving of her time with spot on assistance, I was afraid I had taken advantage of her. What a nice lady. It was like talking to family. Please thank her for me and tell her I appreciate her more than I can say, even in this lengthy message.
