U-Haul Moving & Storage at Garey Ave
2190 N Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91767, United States
My storage unit was broken into twice within 4 days. I lost everything that I inherited from family and everything I worked for in the past 12 years. The first time both my locks were picked and the second time the replacement locks were forcefully removed; causing damage to the door/latch.When I spoke with the manager (David Sahagun) the first time about how to go forward he repeatedly said, “Are you sure stuff is missing; ARE YOU SURE!!??”, and got louder after every time, as to public humiliate me in front of his employees and to try to make me think that I'm the crazy one for even believing that theft could possibly take place at “his” facility. The employees of U-Haul just rebutted by saying, “We have night time security and cameras everywhere”. Well, that doesn't do anything when anyone can come and go as they please during the day because there isn't day-time security.Drive up doors will stay open for 10+ minutes. Doors open whenever someone walks by the sensor on the inside - not even trying to leave, just walking by to grab a cart or use the restroom. Not every isle has a security camera (the storage I had) and many security cameras are mounted in the worst possible fashion as to not even surveil the entire hallway/units, and there are cameras mounted ABOVE air conditioner ducting providing a blocked view.Additionally, homeless people will wait for the door to open so they can use the bathroom. The majority of the U-Haul employees are bottom of the barrel talent (laborers). The insurance company ignored my second claim (because my unit was broken into twice) including every inquirey I made to get into contact. Pomona police didn't care and has since ignored my theft/burglary case.I hope all of these people face severe karma - I despise them all.Don't store your belongings at this ghetto facility nor the ghetto city.

I would highly recommend Storage Etc. Pomona to anyone looking for a Safe Secure & Clean Facility to rent from.Nadine was more than helpful when finding the right size & priced storage unit for me. She is very friendly & accommodating, & made my rather stressful moving circumstance much smoother! And my first months rent was only 1$!!She didnt have to but she even provided me with a passcode for the gate that was super easy for me to remember, not just a random one like I usually get! Little things like this make a huge difference. One time I was late on my payment, and she gave me a call and let me know, so I could avoid being charged a late fee! She went out of her way to warn me about this and saved me the money! I know I wouldnt have gotten that type of service at just any locationShes excellent.I have rented a storage here for over a year now and couldnt be happier!
Temco Logistics
1405 E Franklin Ave, Pomona, CA 91766, United States
Another dissatisfied Temco customer joining the online Google support group to rant and, hopefully, provide **advance warning** to anyone thinking of using Temco Logistics. Our story is like many other victim-customers:1. Ordered washer/dryer from Home Depot2. Called for delivery date from Temco.3. 1st delivery attempt: 2 guys spent 2 minutes then said they couldnt install the new unit until we had a new gas line put in. (To be fair, this could have been a legitimate issue as the unit had been in place for more than 15 years. We had our plumber come the next day to install a new gas line.)4. Called Temco again to schedule a 2nd delivery. The earliest option was 1.5 weeks out.5. 2nd delivery attempt: After 2 minutes, the 2 men found another issue: we needed longer water hoses to accommodate the new unit. Even though we paid extra for the necessary water and gas hose part kits at the time of purchase, the team did not come with the appropriate kit for the machine. Same day, we bought multiple additional hose options to be prepared for the next visit and called Temco to schedule delivery #3.6. Called to schedule delivery #3 - no appointments were available for another 2 weeks. We were more assertive letting the scheduler know that the first crew should have told us ALL that was needed to take delivery so we wouldnt have new problems each time. (Were still not clear why they could not use the parts package from Home Depot.)7. 3rd delivery attempt: delivery window was 7a-11a, but the driver called at 5:50am to say he wanted to come into our home(!). 3 men showed up. Their names were OSCAR LOPEZ (the driver), FRANCISCO ROMERO AND MARVIN ROSALES (even Tempco didnt know who this last guy was)! The driver, Oscar, came in to our house and was SO RUDE. He went straight to the unit area, disassembled our closet door door and proceeded to soil our white carpet with the door and his dirty shoes. Asking him to show a little more respect in our home, maybe lay down a drop cloth or blanket, he challenged me (finally looking at me) and saying: What, I know youre not going to hit me. Really?! So random. What kind of customer service is this? And whats with rolling up to someones house so early in the morning acting like such a jerk?Things continued to get worse. The men proceeded to damage our drywall taking the old unit out, then afterwards found damage on our new washer/dryer unit. The new unit had clearly been struck on the side by a blunt object which pierced the cardboard box and materially bent the side of the machine. The unit packaging had no other scuffs or markings. The strike was clean and likely recent, as they didnt tell us about the damage when they arrived and surely would have caught in a quality check when loading the truck or after arriving at our place. With their horrible attitude, we wouldnt be surprised if these guys just didnt want to install after the haul, so damaged it themselves. There also was no license plate on the truck. Just a plate saying Real Hasta La Muerte. The worst part is that OSCAR FORGED MY SIGNATURE as if we had accepted delivery of an undamaged unit. THIS IS FRAUD.Weve called twice asking to speak with a Temco supervisor, and have not received a call back. Home Depot management says there is not much they can do as Temco is contracted at a corporate level and is used by Home Depot, Best Buy and Lowes with a monopoly on the delivery business. Please question this company (or the big box suppliers who use them), or better, go to a mom and pop appliance store. (We found the same machine with delivery for less than HD+Temco.) If you have your own horrible experience with Temco, be sure to escalate your story up the chain with your big box store so the management negotiating these service agreements can be aware.Companies like Temco should not be in business with such horrible delivery and customer service.
Public Storage
1351 Pomona Rd, Corona, CA 92882, United States
I know this is long, but please take moment to read before doing business with this location. I hope that Public Storage Corporate doesnt condone their business practices.THE PEOPLE AT THIS LOCATION ARE DISHONEST AND SHADY!!!! My mom recently passed away and I have some items that needed to go to storage. I live in Georgia. She lived in California. I found this Public Storage online, 1351 Pomona Rd, Corona, CA. In the process of completing the quote I entered a wrong initial in the name. Sometimes I will do it on purpose if Im just information seeking. In this case, I decided I wanted to rent the space. I tried to correct the incorrect letter but the system wouldnt let me correct it. I didnt think it was that big of a deal so, I entered my information and paid for the unit and planned to call the office the next day to correct it. I received a confirmation letter stating that my space was ready for use. The letter provided me with a gate code and the storage unit number.Upon attempting to use the information, the keypad screen said that I needed to see the property manager. It was after office hours, but it was before 9 p.m., which is the cut off time for move-ins. Upon calling the office the next day, I spoke to a uppity little girl and she told me that unless I could come in and provide my I.D., they wouldnt be able to rent me the unit because the account said C. Williams instead of M. Williams. Just playing devils advocate here: since when is it illegal or suspicious to have a name on an account and have someone pay the down payment for you? All the information was legitimate. Remind you, I AM IN GEORGIA and she wants me to fly to Corona, CA to show her my drivers license. There is no policy stating that I had to reside in California in order to rent the space. There is a procedure for doing everything online without having to come into the location. I told her that was fine because I obviously couldnt come into the office, so just refund my money. She told me that they wont refund the money. Its their policy not to give refunds. I said thats not acceptable. You are refusing to rent me the unit -- I didnt cancel or change my mind. Besides that I NEVER ENTERED THE PREMISES, NOR DID I TAKE POSSESSION OF THE LOCK OR THE UNIT.Lets recap. I never took possession of the unit, but Im getting charged for one month at $52. I never used the lock but Im getting charged $19.99 for the lock, which they will reuse, I never accessed the property or the unit and Im getting charged $15 for the mandatory insurance on the unit, I never took possession or move one piece of anything into the unit, but Im getting charged a $24 move-in fee. Im getting charged $1.25 for taxes AND, THE ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY DUE TO THEIR NO REFUND POLICY!!!! In all fairness, I could understand this if I had taken possession of the unit BUT I NEVER SET ONE FOOT ON THEIR PREMISES LET ALONE TOOK POSSESSION OF THE UNIT. I would also understand if I cancelled or changed my mind about the unit. THEY REFUSED TO RENT THE UNIT TO ME BECAUSE I COULDNT COME FROM GEORGIA TO CORONA, CALIFORNIA TO SHOW THEM MY DRIVERS LICENSE. Keep in mind, they did verify that my license was a valid Georgia license. Please be careful dealing with these people. They are scamming people because COVID19 has given the the perfect opportunity!! I dont believe they ever had an available unit. So, false advertising, shady business practices and Im out $112.54, all while still grieving the loss of my mother. I agree with the other reviews. If I could give this place negative stars I would give them 100 negative stars. APPARENTLY THEY STEAL YOUR BELONGINGS ONCE YOURE THERE AND HAVE NOW FIND A WAY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU EVEN SET FOOT ON THEIR PROPERTY.Martha W.

I visited this place to find out information regarding their trailers. All but one look in good working conditions. The young sales rep was rude when I asked load safety questions. After several misleading answers from the sales representative, the sales rep became disrespectful and began to make ignorant statements about weight distribution hitches. Sadly, the rep admitted he did not know what a load distributing hitch was, But that did not stop him from making statements about the purpose of this product even after clearly stating that He had no idea what the product was or function. After becoming hostile with me, He left and began to make fun of me with his co-worker. I found the behavior of this sales rep so immature and disrespectful. I will never return.Do you self a favor, if you rent their products, inspect them and make sure there in working order?
Lilys Tacos

I was in the neighborhood with my daughter and wanted to try something new. Saw the reviews on this place so we decided to have lunch there. We liked it. We ordered the carnitas taco plate and combination chicken burrito. Good flavor for both. I asked my daughter if she would ever like to come here again and she said Definitely. Went home and told my wife about it. She wanted to try. Came back for dinner. Ordered the Chile Verde plate, quesadilla, and chicken enchiladas plate. Everything was good. My favorite was the Chile Verde. I asked my wife if she would ever like to come here again and she said Yes. In both visits the staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the prices were better than other places Ive been to in the area. I recommend. Its been a month or two since my initial post. Ive been back with my daughter for breakfast. She had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. I had the potato and chorizo breakfast burrito. These are now my favorite items on the menu. So very good.

I am going to be straight forward and tell you this review is about the staff.I arrived to the location to check in fairly late at night, so I was just ready to get to my bed.During checkin I informed the front desk that I was checking in with my Service Animal (which I wouldnt think it would be a problem). The front desk personnel then asked me, in front of other guests, What medical need I have for a service animal? - mind you this is none of their business and way out of the range of questions they should ask, especially in front of other guests. I obliged and told her what needs I had for him.As if that wasnt embarrassing enough, the next day I was walking back into the hotel through the lobby and I was approached by the (Im only guessing because he didnt tell me his name or if he worked with the company) general manager. He proceeds to tell me that they are not a PET friendly hotel, so I informed him that my animal is a registered SERVICE animal and sorry for any confusion. He proceeds to ask me (just as the front desk personnel did) What medical need I have for a service animal and because he didnt like my answer of Thats not your business, all you need to know is he is a registered service animal, he then tell me that it is not possible because of the breed and level of energy my dog has. Mind you this is in front of several different guests...To top it all off, I check my bank account today and I see an extra charge of $250. I called to get to the bottom of it all. The general manager, Sam, would not take my call and kept forwarding me to voice mail.I waited a while and he wouldnt return my call, so I called the corporate offices.Bottom line is, he has no right to tell me that my dog cant be a service animal because of his BREED then charge me a $250 cleaning fee.Dont stay there if you have a service animal! They will charge you the cleaning fee!
