I typically never write negative reviews but the experience that I had with Enterprise located in 3003 auto center circle in Stockton California was an experience that I hope no one has to go through again. Me and my wife talked to Taylor the front end associate and communicated that we had rented a full size vehicle because we have two toddlers and luggage. but was given a small vehicle instead. (A mini cooper.) Taylor said yes we have another vehicle for you just return the one you currently have. So we did. After waiting for almost 3 hours. I asked Taylor about the vehicle ?. He said we don't have one right now. So I asked for the manager on duty Steven Aldava the branch manager came. He said to me that they were cleaning the vehicle. I asked what type of vehicle ?. He said one slightly smaller than the mini cooper you just returned. I don't understand how they misunderstood me and my wife request for a larger vehicle not a smaller one. But the manager refused to help us and said that he didn't want to help us anymore because we didn't have a reservation. We had called customer service previously and made the reservation before we showed up. I currently been working in customer service for 20 years and never seen so much unprofessionalism poor customer service and No respect for their customers. I asked for the corporate number and Steven gave me the wrong number. So I asked him for the corporate number again and he pretended that he had made a mistake. While I stepped outside to call corporate Steven told my wife that we can leave because he is not going to help us. After they refused to help me I drove to the other location in 320 N Hunter St in Stockton California. Front end associate Eric and the manager provided me with all the help and solutions I needed. Like two angels they helped me and my wife with a large sedan vehicle. I review them 5 STARS. And thank you so much for your help. Eric and site management in Hunter st location. Thank you ??. I want to share the horrible experience I had with this location. I made reservations over the weekend late March to pick up a rental car that following Monday. I was already verified and was told just to bring my I.D and my debit card as well and then I would be on my way. Soon as I got there it was already a few people waiting to get their rentals as well. I was next in line and Dealt with Peter looking up my reservation. Upon first checking Peter informed me I was $1.37 short on my debit card and that I needed my paystub as well and to go to the bank just to deposit the $1.37. I drove to the opposite side of town obtained my paystub and deposited the $1.37 into my checking account. Soon as I walked back into this location, I noticed I was the only customer in there and Peter and the White Male manager walked past me talking to each other. When Peter finally acknowledged that I was there he immediately had a tone of disappointment and or bad news. Peter looked at my paystub and told me that he was sorry but they can not rent me a car because I do not have enough In home care clients. I was beyond shocked because these people sent me out twice just for me to come back and be denied because of Racial Profiling. I was already verified and even called corporate and they said they were shocked they would not rent to me. I then called the auto circle location and explained the racial profiling experience I had and the lady told me she doesn't know why they did not rent to me because I am verified and ready to go for a rental. So then she apologized for their lack of professionalism and booked me later that day for a rental. I would never go back to the Hunter st location they are very unprofessional and will walk right past you with a smirk. Corporate has been made aware of the racial profiling I've received for no apparent reason and I am looking forward to resolving this issue and for the inconvenience. Also I found out today through corporate I still have a open rental contract with the Hunter st. location but they did not let me rent a car. Seems like Scam artists and racial profiling going on at this location.

I am updating this review yet again - I would have left it at a 3 but because of the lack of follow up (when told I would receive follow up) I am compelled to make the update:I responded to the reply I initially received, a support ticket was created back on August 8th and I have still not had a conversation with the EG team Or proper email resolution from ANYONE from Enterprise, the date of the post is 8/31/2023My previous rating was 5 stars. I booked a reservation online for 8 am. I arrived a few minutes early. Upon my arrival, there was one employee waiting on a customer at the kiosks upon entry. There was one customer in line in front of me. There were at least three customers sitting in the waiting chairs nearest to the windows to the left of the entrance and at least one customer waiting outside.There were several employees outside and several more in the rear of the office. They were amongst themselves. There was one employee retrieving rentals for the customers waiting.I patiently waited in line for my turn. The same initial employee assisted the person in front of me, then me. Still, several employees wander in and out - no one acknowledging those waiting. It is my turn - the young lady that assisted me was efficient. But told me there were two customers in front of me. I can count, there were now about 4-5 waiting for their rentals and 2-3 people are turning their rentals in. The customers dropping off were prioritized over those who arrived before them.Still, one person is retrieving rentals for all of us waiting. And still, several employees were wandering around - some were cleaning vehicles but at least half appeared to be doing much of nothing. Now a vehicle pulls up in the rear and the employee gets out with his arms full of Starbucks - employees showed excitement for their Starbucks arrival. He walks in and employees gather to get their beverage.I am STILL waiting with several others. I am sure their beverages were quite amazing and I would have stopped for one on my way to work had I not had to wait so long.45 minutes later I am FINALLY leaving in a rental with filthy windows and an oil change light on the dash.In the past, I was greeted upon walking up to the location. I did not even need to step into the office. There were always several employees eagerly waiting to serve me and quick to hand me a business card should I need anything in the future. Today, everybody seems to have just clocked in and forgot the reason they were there. Definitely did not feel the spirit of your motto “Take care of your customers and employees first, and the profits will follow.”I wasnt up to writing this novel as I sat waiting for my rental this morning - but perhaps I will update it to give more perspective to review readers.Current rating - 3 Stars - NOW A 1 StarThings have changed over the years. Seems like a whole new team. The lack efficiency, sense of urgency & theres too many on staff to have such a lack of service. There are at least 10 employees in sight, granted they all do different jobs but there are just as many customers sitting around waiting to be served. Not too long ago I was greeted upon arrival and immediately walked over to secure my rental & out on the road in less than 20mins. Today Ive been here almost 30 mins no greeting no nothing just go sit & wait. ?? 3 stars for $$.

Worst customer service experience. We call and make a reservation. Whoever first inout our information input a number in their system that is black listed and saying we couldnt rent because we owed them something. Then they put us through some customer service line to clear our name and then they notice that it was their mistake and they used the wrong phone number and address? Then they fail to tell us about the deposit and insurance she just put it in there. Thankfully someone from the district was there and scolded her about not letting us know which was still unprofessional to scold her in front of customers. Then tell us we have to keep the rental because they are closed, therefore we get charged a whole day when we didnt even need it. The next day they call and call saying that we could have just dropped it off outside and let the guards know? They never told us that, their only concern was to make the other customers seem like it wasnt their fault. When I go in she starts blaming my fiancé and saying that she told me when she didnt and she was putting on her makeup? If we ever need a rental we might consider budget but NEVER this place.

Worst service Ive ever had dealing with U-Haul. Ramon was so unprofessional, stating out loud how he hates Sundays. If you dont like your job find another one. Also, I had a reservation for 9 AM and arrived on time, but didnt leave until an hour later because employees at this location dont know how to do their jobs. I will never return to this U-Haul and definitely wont recommend it to anyone.

I rented my uhaul from them in February of 2016 when I was moving. the day before, I called UHaul and spoke with the manager Chris just to make sure that my rental was there in the system. While talking to chris, I asked him of how much do I need in order to pick up my rental and he stated over the phone that if I have $80.00 in the bank, i would be fine. All was on recording via phone conversation. The next day, I went and pick up my rental. I asked Chris again about the payment and he re-stated that if I have $80.00 in the bank, I WILL BE FINE. I process the paper work and put a safety deposit. I used my uhaul rental that day and at 8 p.m., i returned my rental. As my rental was being inspected, theemployee told me that I owe them $160.00. I asked him how come it is so high and he stated that they charge mileage. I told him that Chris informed me prior that if I had $80.00 in the bank I would be fine. The service rep that inspected my vehicle informed me that the employees at this particular UHaul place likes to screw people over and he didnt know why. I ended up paying $160.00 because I was informed that if I didnt pay, I would be sent to collections. I called the coporation and after talking to them about the situation, they apologized and stated that they would talk to the manager Chris and call me back with the end results. 5 MONTHS LATER, IT HAS BEEN QUIET AND NO CALLS AT ALL.

I do not recommend this location at all. After a very long day of emptying my storage unit and running around to get things done before making my 3 day drive back home, I called to verify the address of where I should go to drop off the key. The woman I spoke to gave me the address and since I was already on the phone I specifically asked if there was anything I needed to do other than bring the key back. She asked if it was cleared out and if I left the door open. I explained that it was completely cleared out, but had not left the door open. She said, Its fine so long as its cleared out. I finish up other business I had, and headed to the location I was tild to go, feeling confident everything would go smoothly. It did not. After having to wait 15 minutes for service due to many customers, which was fine, I walked to the with key in hand only to be refused. I was only now told that I must now drive all the way back to the storage unit to take what I would deem useless pictures of the empty storage unit, as they prove nothing, especially since she didnt even take the time to look at which storage unit I was taking pictures of. To make an already long day even longer, I did. When arriving back, not only did she not help me, but left another customer standing there waiting, to count boxes. Thanks UHaul for putting even more aggravation onto someones life than what was already there. Very professional. If someone asks what they need to do, next time tell them! Dont force them to drive all over town, when they already have a 3 day drive ahead of them.

I used to always go to this U-Haul to buy supplies…and spent good money there in the past but I will stop as of today. I parked my SUV in the equipment return lane (as I always have in the past) to pickup a bundle of boxes. I had surgery on my Achilles and walking the extra distances agitates my heel and knee. A worker immediately tells me, “You can't park there.” No hello…no excuse me…just you can't park there. Tried to explain I just want to get a bundle of boxes and leave and also tell about my injury but wasn't given the chance to explain. There was no one there. No lines. No one returning equipment. No one. But to be peaceful, I parked my car in the area he wanted me to park. I then went inside and was met by the manager who had a very facetious tone when speaking to me after I mentioned what happened outside. I really was over it but could tell she was ready to defend the “don't park in the return lane” rule even after I moved my car and…did I mention no one was there?!She asked me do I want my receipt and I jokingly said, “Yeah I better get it cause the vibe I'm getting around here, who knows what will happen?” The manager took what I said to heart and started giving me even more attitude. It was pretty surprising because I used to have a pleasant experience there but they lost several customers today because my family will stop going there as well after they hear this story. I suggest sharpening up on the customer service skills and politeness. It helps tremendously in business.

Reserved a pickup for 11am. I arrived at 10:50am. There were no trucks in sight. Waited while the guy was on the phone with whomever speaking loud enough to know other customers business. His CS skills are pathetic. The woman completely dismissed my presence EVEN THOUGH I was standing right in front of her..I mean literally 2 ft in front of her. Instead of saying to me sorry for the wait,I will help you asap they said their truck isnt there yet,sorry but I can go to another location. The point of a reservation is that you have the truck there upon my arrival.Thank you Uhaul for your fine,outstanding services. NOT!
