Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Had a little trouble making online reservations, but when I got to the Visalia office, the agent helped me process my car rental as fast as if I had booked online. I was treated as if I was VIP. I will not use any other car rental agency. Thank you for the easy in and, done.

Reservation means nothing in Enterprise Rent A Car Organization. The branch employee call you a few hours prior to pick up or when you get to the branch to pick up the car that they have no car for you and we are SORRY.Apparently enterprise rent a car knows that their web side reservation has no idea if the branch has the car or not they just simply do the reservation on the customers expense.Shame on enterprise rent a car for wasting peoples time and ruining their plans. They always thank me for being loyal customer but no loyalty from enterprise rent a car .They never see my face again even if I have to walk.

I have always used franchised, main steamed car rental agencies but I was in search of the best deal in town when I happened upon Express Car Rental. Laura, Irene & Andy were friendly yet professional & gave me a great price for my 4 day car rental. The vehicle was clean & in good condition. I will definitely be a return costumer.

Budget Car Rental
340 S Burke St, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
Taking trip abroad and needed to rent one-way cars to and from Visalia to LAX. First car I picked up the AC did not work and was dirty. Second car I picked up I left the lot and within 5 miles the low-pressure tire warning came on. I also realized by that time the window was cracked. I raced back and the store was closed exactly at 5:00 PM. I called Budget Roadside Assistance in the morning and they told me to air up the tire (BTW there was no spare and the air pump was missing) and get to Bakersfield where a replacement would be waiting. Also had to completely clean the car myself because the windows were filthy, there was spilled coffee inside and it just needed to be cleaned. We pulled into Bakersfield and the attendant told us the did not have any vans nor were called by roadside assistance. Because we had to catch a flight, we had to risk it. We did make it into LAX and the tire held, but the stress and risk simply should have been attended to by Budget. Our rental car back from LAX was again filthy and the brakes were literally grinding and making horrible noises. When I turned it in to Visalia, I explained everything that happened to and from and all the person did was chuckle and say sorry. Just a warning to anyone that rents from Budget, and specifically the Visalia location, the vehicles are not well maintained and you are at risk. If you have an issue out on the road, buyer beware, that the roadside assistance is ridiculous. If you are taking a family trip like I was, dont trust budget with your family, go with one of the other competitors, even if it costs a little more, your family and the potential for less stress is well worth it.

Hertz Car Rental - Visalia - Main Street HLE
721 E Main St, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
I have been using Avis Visalia and it's been fairly good, hertz happens to be closer to we're I was working last week so when my car broke last Wednesday I thought I'd try them specially since it was cheaper( or so I thought) Avis was 37 a day hertz 31, at first all seemed ok even the car had a “sanitized” seal on the driver door. I checked it on the front, it looked clean. I drove away and when I went to pick up my family I noticed the back of the car is not clean, so I guess they only “sanitize” the driver seat. Then next day the mechanic calls and said my car wouldn't be ready at least for another day. So I called hertz and tell them I was going to be needing the car for another day or two so how do I proceed? I was told not to worry I was going to get an extension but due to thanksgiving they'd be closed for the weekend but the had express return so just return it drop the keys, then call us Monday morning and tell us when you returned it and we'll just charge whatever days u used it for the same rate. Great! Hassle free right? Well I dropped it Saturday before due time I filled the jacket with the info and dates and thought ok 3 days 31 dlls a day that's 93 dlls, good. I started getting calls from hertz Monday morning telling me that I better retur the car or else they'll take legal action against me. Whatta heck!! I call them they said no to worry they're already processing my transaction and sure enough, a few minutes later I got my receipt even with a discount!! Great!! But as I kept reading through there it comes! Late return fee 12 bucksReturn change fee 10 bucksVehicle license fee. 3 bucksTaxes. 9 bucks.Seriously! That never happened to me wit Avis! I called the 1800 number to dispute those charges. I explained all this to customer service specially the late fee since I called and ask for an extension and told her : look, it's not a lot of money but it's not fair and I ended up paying way more than if I had used Avis. If there's anything you can do at least with the late fee I'll really appreciate it, if not that's ok. I learned my lesson an move on. She said give a minute I'll talk to my supervisor. She play dumb for a few secs and the she said “hello sr”, I replied “yes” and she started her game “ hello sr” hello sr can you hear me? Of course I can hear you! Hello sr are you there? I was like seriously! Is this how you're going to get out of it really?!! Hi sr are you there?... I showed my wife look! My phone is not muted it's not on speaker check it, she's just full of it. Then she hanged up! Nice job Hertz! Another customer lost. Not that you care or anything!

Avis Car Rental
340 S Burke St, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
Not sure what is up with these Avis rentals this year. They are full of disgruntled employees.Im a 63 man who travels for a living. My company only rents through Avis. I can only ride comfortably certain name brand cars. For some reason Avis employees (especially the ones at Fresno airport) act as if giving out a specific brand car that is within my companys contract is a mortal sin. The worst offenders are the mom and pap franchised Avis.I started in Vallejo CA Avis. The guy is nice, his stock of vehicles alaays sucks. He only had a Chevy Cruz. I cant do that. So he has a Nissan Sentra that isnt cleaned yet. The car stinks. I agree to take it temporary. (Avis always boast about exchanges for any reason.)I go to Fairfield CA Avis to exchange it. The woman tells me So now youre going to leave us with a stinky car! Yes… .yes I am. Sorry get better stock I guess? I ask for a Toyota (the only car I can fit in). She says no. Thats it. No explination. Just no fool. Gives me another Nissan Sentra. Mind you she had like 3 Toyota Corollas chillin in her FULL lot of same price as the Sentra.I uncomfortably drive to Fresno CA 4 hours away. The people at this Avis act as if they will be beheaded if they exchange the car. The woman acted upset by my request and refused to exchange the car for a Toyota. At keast her excuse was that they were booked up on reservations. Mind you this is an airport site with a lot filled with 50 or more cars. They woukdnt exchange my car for any of them. Even though my coworkers are showing up in Tacomas and Mustanges. I just want a simple Corolla, Prius, Ford, Honda Flex focus. Something that is not Chevy or Nissan. So now im stuck in this Nissan Sentra for 2 weeks and my knees hurt if im in it for more than 10 minutes because Avis staff cant spend some time just giving me a car exchange within the same price range my company agreed on.Mind you Sandiego is AMAZING. Hawaii Avis is AMAZING. Fresno, not so much. This is my second time dealing with Fresno and being unhappy.

Lifesafer Ignition Interlock Visalia
2211 E Main St #1, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
I had a terrible experience with them overall. I was charged $35 for taking my car to the mechanic to replace my starter. I notified lifesafer that I was taking my car in for repair and the car locked out on me and they charged me $35 for a code to unlock it. Also when it was time to get the interlock device removed I was overcharged. Pick em up truck store has no idea when your service ends and told me to contact lifesafer and when I did they told me that they have to contact the DMV which they didnt do. I had to contact the DMV on my own and they told me my restriction was lifted. This was after I already paid for another month of service because they were going to lock my car out if I didnt.Edit.Thats incorrect. I took my car to replace the starter on Dec 17th and a few days later my car locked out on me and i had to call for a code to unlock it. When I went to my next appointment on 12/23 I was charged $35 for the code. As for the Removal you did say that I would be credited $80 for the removal fee but that just covers the march payment. I still paid $84 for april and one of your repesentitives said you have a scrict no refund policy. And for your information noone ever responded back to me. I had to keep calling back. Now not only did I pay for an extra month but I also have to take time off of work for the removal. Nowhere in you contract when I signed up did it mention that it was my resposibilty to notify the DMV for my removal. I never missed an appointment and held up my end of the contract and I feel that you as a company didnt do the same.Reply:Can you answer me this quwstion then? Why did I recieve a lockout warning in the first place? What do your records show there? Also your company did not verify anything to me on the 25t. I was told that they would have to contact the DMV and would get back to me. I never heard back so I contacted the DMV on my own to find out the removal date. I called back on the 26th to inform lifesafer and thats when the so called waiver was offered but its actually the payment I made for march and your not mentioning the payment for april that you refuse to give back.

Patrick L Salazar - State Farm Insurance Agent
5127 W Walnut Ave, Visalia, CA 93277, United States
Ive been insured with State Farm almost all the time Ive been a driver, for over 50 years. When I moved from San Francisco to Visalia in 1983, I found a State Farm agent there. That agent retired several years later and my account was taken up by Patrick Salazar.I have made only a few claims over the years. On every occasion, Patricks office made the experience as painless as possible. They really took me in hand, were always there for me, answering questions and following up on details, even when it wasnt, strictly speaking, their responsibility to make sure things were okay for me.Once, a claim was filed against me which was bogus, full of inconsistencies and falsehood. Patricks people helped me pursue the details, and the claim disappeared. There was an earlier period of time, for a couple of years, when my husband had passed away and I was going through a lot of personal difficulties. One of Patricks staff always went the extra mile, calling me so I would avoid being late with my monthly payments. I was glad he had so much stability in his office staff. It was a great help during a tough time.Through ALL these years, Patrick and his staff have made sure I was getting the coverage I wanted and needed, for the most discounted rates possible.I have had such confidence in, I have so valued the Salazar State Farm Agency, that when I moved back to the Bay Area NINETEEN YEARS AGO, I didnt change insurance agents! I might not ever see them in person, but they provide everything I want and need from State Farm.

Karen Gross - State Farm Insurance Agent
1325 W Main St, Visalia, CA 93291, United States
Ever grateful to Lupe and other staff at this office. In some of my most stressful times they are there and ready to assist. Polite, courteous, and professional. Living in the Three Rivers, CA is not easy, from Fire evacuations to tourists accidentally hitting my truck with their RV, to cooling fans breaking because of the climbs and causing a need for a tow, driving narrow and windy roads etc. is dangerous, so having an agent with personnel who listen and bring down the stress level just by being empathetic is crucial to me. During the KNP FIRE Diana reached out to me and the other patrons that live in Three Rivers to see if there was anything they could do to help with our evacuation. I was so touched by that and that in itself is why it's important to have good quality insurance with caring personnel. I've been with State Farm for over 40years. I've had different agents thought that time, but I'm so happy I found Karen and her excellent, efficient, and outstanding staff. Thank you.

We never have to worry about our insurance at all. Central Valley is always on top of anything pertaining to our coverage so that makes our life much easier.
