Ill start by personally thanking Norman, the manager, for how professional and understanding he was thru the most difficult and challenging move of my lifetime. It was bad enough that I lost my home and had to move out, but right in the middle of the move I had lost my dear mother to Parkinsons...Truthfully, I did have a complication with the rental truck assigned to me...However, if it wasnt for their Roadside Assistance package, which I highly recommend, I dont think I wouldve got thru my move successfully...You see, upon receiving the news of my mothers demise is right when I had to contact the Roadside Assistance to help me with a truck battery issue..Well, lets put it this way, normally when one receives such tragic news, they turn to someone to hug...There wasnt anyone around at the time to do this with, but I did have the gal on the other end of the line that seriously got me thru what I must say was the most difficult moment of my life...oh, and resolved the battery as well. So, in closure to what seems to be more of a novel than a rating, I couldnt of asked for a better experience than this particular one at this particular location..To the gal at the other end of the Roadside Assistance line and to Norman, thank you from the bottom of my heart for simply being there when I needed someone most...God bless you all ?

Fatbike HB
7151 Yorktown Ave Unit 105, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States
Just a weird experience in general. Bought e-bike rentals on Groupon. So when we arrived we mentioned we had Groupon valchers. The guy seemed annoyed and made the statement “well if you didn't already get them we'd prefer you to get it from us because they take like half the money.” Clearly after I already stated that's why we are here, because we bought the offer off Groupon...? I've rented e-bikes else where around California and no where has weirdly made me put a $500 holding fee. Like am I renting a car here. The bikes they offered us together I don't think even total the amount of $500. Not confused anymore why they are just a little side business that you can barely see from the street. As well the guy gave us completely wrong directions to down town. Should have just taken the straight shot I was going to take originally that he denied and said his way would be easier. Thankful a different guy was there when we got back. Honestly I would just rent from a place closer to down town since they don't actually let you pick the bike you want, so what's the point? You won't have to put down $500, nor get back handed comments about the way you purchased. If you don't like Groupon why sell on Groupon? Definitely lost a customer that sadly would have been a super73 sale. The experience was just so bad, I decided to wait and bought mine straight from the company when the model I wanted was in stock.
Elite Clear Bra
7712 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States
Buying a new car buying is such an exciting experience. So when I wanted to protect my new baby, Scion FRS Monogram, I called multiple places and Craig was the only one that called me personally and told me about what he offered. I got to know him and felt at ease that he would do a great job. He mention he primary uses Xpel for the clear bra and wraps the edges around the hood and fenders. The Scion badge was taken off and place back on after the clear bra. Thumbs up there! From the experience, I learned that Craig is a super hard worker and very accommodating. After picking up my car at the dealer, I arranged a time to meet up with Craig. He was prompt and showed me around his shop. He does clear bras for expensive cars! Like Lambos, Audi R8s, and an Audi was sitting in his shop which was his previous project. After I saw his work and the quality of Xpel, I was sold that he would deliver.I chose to go with the Partial Front Coverage vs Full Front Coverage. If you can afford it, I would go with the Full Coverage as there wont be any transition between the clear bra and hood. With that said, the Partial Coverage looks great and you have to be very close to see this transition. A few feet away you can hardly tell there is even a clear bra.Craftsmanship is great. No bubbles, lint, edges wrapped super cleanly. After dropping off my car, I went to a birthday party. I later found out my friend knows of Craig and started raving how he does great work and is one of the best around the area. I knew I was in great hands. He even added extra protection at the door cups. I dislike those fingernail marks with a passion. They are the biggest eyesore. In Summary:I had a very positive experience with Craig. He went the extra mile and blew my expectations. I would definitely come back here in the future. Craig is a very hard worker and is great with what he does.
Sarah Atkinson - State Farm Insurance Agent
15061 Springdale St Ste 101, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, United States
Everyone I have spoken with at this office has been very polite and friendly, but I also think it is important to be competent and accountable to which this office has proven to lack completely.I recently setup a policy for three vehicles that I was moving from out of state and the rate that I am retroactively being charged is ALMOST THREE TIMES the rate I was quoted when I setup the policy. Initially I was told this was because they did not have my driving record, which is not plausible as I was transferring from another State Farm office so State Farm as a company most certainly had my driving record. Then they apologized and admitted they made an error, but refused to accept accountability for the error an instead said they can not legally charge me the rate they misquoted. There are probably about 4-5 other things about the policy that was not quoted correctly, and I received a few iterations of misquotes in between. Apparently their interpretation of the law (which I believe to be incorrect), is that if they as the insurance provider make a mistake when quoting a policy they can come back at any time in the future and retroactively increase your rate from when the policy started and it would be illegal for them to charge you anything other than the higher rate even if it is THREE TIMES HIGHER than the rate you were quoted.Anyone dealing with this company to get a quote should ask them if that is their interpretation of the law and how they treat their customers. Do they reserve the right to come back and charge customers THREE TIMES AS MUCH OR MORE retroactively due to their own incompetence in pricing out the quote. Ask them specifically if they make a mistake in pricing out the quote if you will be held accountable for paying a higher rate than what you were quoted due to their mistake.I should note that the initial quote I got was about where other companies where charging and their retroactive price increase makes their charges way out of line.
A-1 Self Storage
17292 Gothard St, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
I wanted to take some time out to write a review for A-1 Self Storage in Huntington Beach, and to acknowledge the great service that it provides to its customers. First of all, I am a returning customer with the last 10 years. I recently sold my house and needed a storage unit. I drove to A-1 on a Sunday and was able to rent a unit via the kiosk. I had remote assistance from the San Diego office where the customer service rep helped me through the process. The very next day, Dean called me to see how my experience was. I replied AMAZING! I remembered Dean from the first time that I rented space and he was just as kind and courteous from my first experience. I truly believe that A-1 Huntington Beach is clean, secure and the rules and guidelines are straight forward. I feel like I can get to things whenever I need them. These types of things shouldnt go unnoticed; from my opinion, its clear that customer service is Dean and A-1 Self-storages number one priority. Thank you so much for protecting my valuables! 5-STAR *****
Rays Rentals Huntington Beach
124 Main St Unit 102, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States
My two kids and I (ages 10&4) got a kids bike, a cruiser bike for me and I added the trailer for my 4 yo. We rented the bikes for 4 hours. it was about 51$ out the door. Keep in mind there is a $400 holding fee that is returned once you return the bikes, which I thought was a little crazy but understandable incase people dont return the bikes. It was refunded after we returned the bikes. We rode the bikes from HB to close to Newport beach. We stopped and played in the ocean for a while away from all the HB crowds. Which was nice. The girl working was super nice. She held my stroller for us as well which made things easier for me, single mom life lol. Would rent here again in were ever in HB.
Extra Space Storage
7471 Warner Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
Please READ - DO NOT RENT FROM ANY EXTRA SPACE STORAGE Facilities.- UPDATED Jan 2nd 2023—————————————————————Best storage unit facility in Huntington Beach area. I have been to multiple storage units and the employees are what make this place different from the others! I went in there flustered after leaving a public storage unit. I went into the office and felt a huge relief once I talked to Sara. They made everything so easy and simple for me. Sara took the time to help me and answer any questions I had. Every single time I go in Sara and Mike have the best energy and a smile on their faces! AND first month free?! What more can you ask for. I'll be here for as long as I need a storage unit.Changed my review. After extra space storage allowed me to rent a unit. Then days after I moved in, I was contacted via phone call (while at the facility) telling me that I had to move out within 48 hours. ….why? Because someone had used my identity to break into to multiple extra space storage units around the OC/LA area. I spent almost 2k more to get moved out of my unit. …more rental trucks, movers, an additional hotel night. It was horrific. There's nothing the management, Keith. Said he could do… I was appalled and baffled by the “well we don't know what to tell you, corporate said we can't rent to you”Why didn't corporate immediately deny my renters application?
Seacliff Self Storage
18100 Kovacs Ln, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States
I really wouldn't recommend SeaCliff. There are several issues:1. The hours are very limited2. They have a moisture problem in the building. I put a moisture absorber in my unit and it filled up in about 2 weeks; all of my boxes have become “soft” due to moisture absorption; when picking up items stored in plastic there is usually moisture on them.3. The key pads are placed in a terrible position, especially for a woman. You have to get out if your car to reach them; the exit one is several feet behind a curb and not in a place you can just drive out.4. It took over a month to get a working light in my unit, with weak excuses from the manager.5. I hate the locks they make you buy; it can take minutes to unlock and lock your unit.
AAA Self Storage
7252 Saturn Dr, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
We have been using AAA for a few years. It has been fine and it is a clean place. There is crawl space between at least my unit though. They must have hired a new manager because this guy is a complete jerk. He reminds me of a tweeker or some other abuser by his appearance and his bad attitude. This genius decided to slurry coat the entire complex on a business day and failed to notify all his customers. People had loaded vehicles and also needed to have access to their units but were rudely prohibited by this lame brain. He said no one could enter although he was walking on the dry asphalt himself. His authoritarian complex was evident as he barked at anyone who talked to him. Including a contractor. My suggestion is to find another storage facility. We looked into it when we got home and found comparable storage close by. We will be moving out. The last thing I need is an angry, loser storage manager on top of dealing with my precious junk lol.
