National Car Rental
19051 Airport Way, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
National in John Wayne airport was a very poor experience…to work with… customers are very aggressive and entitled of getting cars“ upgrade for free” free rental and not pay for gas etc…The customers are very aggressive not cooperating with policy and regulations of National rent a cars - like showing them drivers license and credit cards…..The managers Thomas, Kara, Victor, KyleThey refused to pay commissions to the agentsAnd avoid the aggressive customers behavior towards agents…..Many times customers they do rent cars online when they arrive We agents don't have any more cars to fulfill the customer needs. But national tell agents we have to figure it out and give something to the customer, even if we don't have any available cars.Customers are Physical and verbal aggressive towards agents behavior many customers they rent a car then they wants something more luxury for free.. therefore they feel they should have all they want BMW 7 séries for free etc..Unfortunately agents take this type of customer 8 hours per day.. this is stressfulmanagers and some 3 agents they disappear to not deal with this horrific customers during work hours. When other agents are being abused by customers verbally and physically.National don't want pay commission to the agentsAnd allow some agents Jordyn and Courtney and Scott, leave work during work hours and busy times, for more then 3 hours and still pay hourly..When other agents are taking aggressive and abusing customers for 8 hours a dayNational doesn't pay to agents to be abused by horrible customers behavior lead agents leave the company. It's a very unstable company constantly changing management.Cars with bugs ? or no cars at all to fulfill the rentals for the day.Unethical and unprofessional from national upper management. The customers only give good reviews if they get a rental for free, or agents excuse them not paying for gas. Or we upgrade them for free. HypocrisyFrom many customers. It's stressful and very draining to deal with customers that want a rental car and don't want to pay for it..Plus this company National does not protect the agents against a constant aggressive customers..And doesn't pay agentsTo many issuesManagers smoking weed and drinking alcoholDuring work time etcThis is not a good business it's call be hypocritical reviews..Two or 3 agents are nieces but they take a lot inAccept bad behavior from customers…The National mind set in this location it'sGive them all they want but ask to give a good reviewNo matter if the customers are aggressive or doesn't want to show drivers license and credit cards or throw it in your face literallyIt's the most horrible customers.. horrible mannersTerrible managementUnethical and unprofessional management
Alamo Rent A Car
19051 Airport Way, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! If I could give no stars, I would!!! The employee Omar was very rude to me when I came to get the rental. He ignored some of my questions and answered others with an annoyed attitude. He did not bother to show me where my car was parked, he just stated the parking spot. Also he didn't take me to the car and show me the features and basics like the emergency brake, fuel filler neck, gps connectivity. I asked a question about the fuel options and he ignored me and made a decision for me on how to proceed. When I came to return the car, there was no spots available on the Alamo side. The lady inside was annoyed and kept saying in a rude tone that I should've came earlier to avoid traffic and park the car on the correct side. Who is she to tell me how I should live my life! Her and Dino kept insisting that I take my 50 pound suitcase and two carryons and go back and park the car in the correct spot. Finally after telling them multiple times that I'm late to attending a wedding, Dino went with me to “check” the vehicle and park it in the correct location. He was looking at the exterior and said that there was a crack on the windshield. He kept looking at it and finally saw that it was only grime. He went on to say that I should leave a good review for him at least after I told him how I was treated my Omar when I came to get the car…So today the “manager” Jeff called for me to explain the situation which I did. Jeff did not do anything to remedy the situation but only made it seem like I was lying. He said that Omar “always” receives good feedback from customers. Well then can I say that this interaction was caused by racial discrimination. Also the company had overcharged me one hour past the return window which if I hadn't mentioned it to him then they would've just ran with it. Jeff showed no signs of empathy and only stated that he would talk to his employees supposedly. He offered no compensation for this horrible customer service and only offered to take care of me next time I book with them?! Like I would give them another chance…GET REAL Jeff and the Alamo Company of SNA and go back and take some customer service classes!
U-Haul Moving & Storage at Harbor Blvd
822 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
I rented a 17 truck from Uhaul on June 19th. The cable to the back door got tangled so it wouldnt close properly. I called for roadside assistance and they came and cut the cables, making the door extremely heavy to open. Luckily I only needed to open the back door once to unload everything. I returned the truck and informed the employee of the issue and handed them the key. 20 minutes later I received a receipt with the normal charges from a Kiara. There were no missing item or damage charges on the receipt. 2 hours later, I get a 2nd receipt from another employee named Ricardo saying that I owe them $1223 in damage charges. It is a scam tactic that this location uses to get more money from customers. Im trying to contact Uhauls office to get this resolved but beware when renting from this location. You may get a receipt saying everything is good and then get a follow up email asking for $1000s dollars more for damage that they claim you caused even though their employee already said that there was no damage on the return receipt.

Peggy Bates - State Farm Insurance Agent
2723 N Bristol St Ste D1, Santa Ana, CA 92706, United States
I have been with this office since I started driving and honestly their office has the best customer service who go above and beyond to ensure customers questions are answered and satisfied. I tried another company for home owner insurance for a while and they were the worst which led me to put all insurance back with Peggy Bates. Angie González has been my main rep, she is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and has phenomenal customer service skills. Her expertise and recommendation are always in the customers best interest. I dont even live in Santa Ana anymore and still stay in this office because not only do they streamline everything for you, they give you the most affordable pricing for maximum coverage. Yes, you can always pay cheaper somewhere else but, wait till you actually have to deal with any insurance claims. You get what you pay for.
Public Storage
4501 W MacArthur Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
Price hikes are excessive. My unit is now more than double what they rent current similar units for.Ive been a customer here about 4 years. 10x15 unit.--Initial price with insurance was $233.--9 months later increased to $255.--12 months later $291.--12 months later $393. Prices online at that point significantly less.--I ask if they can do anything, they brought the price back to $291.--3 months later, the price hikes back to $393.--6 months later it hiked to $467. Prices online about half. I ask if they can do anything, they decline.--Prices online today for similar 10x15 unit, $219 with insurance.I finally just booked one of the online units for $219 and will physically move my stuff from one unit, down the hall, to the other. I asked if there was a way to avoid going through this exercise and just give me the price that they are currently asking for rentals, and they said they could reduce my rate down to $375 but no more.Periodic price hikes are one thing, but for them to get to the point where the unit of someone who has been around for 4 years is more than double the price of a similar unit currently online is horrible.Facility itself is fine and the individual people working there are nice, which is why it doesnt get 1 star, but the pricing practices are a just a bad way to treat customers.

The Auto Service
800 S Grand Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
REVISED FEEDBACK04-18-2024Back here after wasting valuable time with a repair shop (Fox Auto Care) down the street who I had used for 2-3 years. I have no idea WHY I stayed with that other shop for that long, the rationale, or lack thereof, escapes me.Very glaringly obvious issues the shop down-the-street shouldve noticed, and which I also commented about to that shop several times, were immediately suspected by TAS. The auto-transmission (AT) had a massive leak. TAS tech-psychic and GM John P immediately and for some unknown reason advised that they needed to check for AT leaks (now, HOW did HE suspect that WITHOUT even looking at the AT, no obvious leaks on the pavement nor putting it up on the hydraulics and NOT saying a word to him?). The other shop was up under this truck in the area of the AT numerous times and were asked to please check where the fluid leaks were coming from, again, numerous times. I assumed the leaks mayve been oil leaks (engine seals, etc), since I had never experienced deteriorated AT pan seals in decades of driving. That other shop shouldve noticed that leak since they had it up on a rack, viewing the AT area. Am I complaining, maybe even bemoaning that previous experience? Yeah, not just due to misdiagnosed, obvious issues (other missed issues as well) but also because of wasted, invaluable, irreplaceable time (numerous trips to and from the other shop, sometimes for the same symptoms, time without a vehicle, relying on friends for trans, etc, etc), as well as placing valuable trust in the wrong repair facility (all repair shops make mistakes, inaccurate diagnoses from time to time, but the same mistakes and misdiagnoses repeatedly?). I dont like to see any small or privately-owned business fail, but AAA needs to review its approved auto repair shops. Luckily, TAS is one of the approved, however, Ive also known TAS when Steves pop was running it (and John Pizanie was a young buck...SORRY John!), over 40 years ago.Great work John, Steve and team. Please dont loose those values. If I were back on the track, Id want you folks as my crew!PRIOR FEEDBACKGreat shop, very professional. Unfortunately, the cost to repair the vehicle was far, FAR more than the value of the truck (i.e. high thousands). So why the high rating?TAS gave a rough diagnostic of what was WRONG with the vehicle, which was pretty much in line with my dreaded suspicions, and strongly cautioned against investing (throwing good money after bad) in a vehicle that would only need more repairs. The vehicle (truck) was purchased from Fairway Ford and, unbeknownst to me at the time of purchase, was fraught with problems that quickly (within 2,000-3000 miles after purchasing) evolved into worse problems culminating in the aforementioned exorbitant repair costs. In summary, The Auto Service was completely honest in advising AGAINST costly, irrational repairs (contrary to Fairway Ford who gave an estimate implying that the vehicle could be repaired, AGAIN, for a vehicle that they sold in initial stages of disrepair).Other than that, the shop is impressive, VERY impressive. The customer waiting area (lounge?), although I just peaked my head in, was equally impressive. Large, comfortable, very clean. If I were so inclined to throw large sums of money away on vehicle repairs, I would trust those repairs to TAS over any other shop.
Eddie Quillares Jr - State Farm Insurance Agent
415 N Broadway, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Wow, so let me first just name the ladies who saved us from a near meltdown Category 5, Jasmine, Karla, Jayline, and Macy. We called and during their lunch to help us with our issue regarding our vehicle insurance. Us being on 10, panicked and gave it 45 minutes, and then drove to their site on Broadway and Santa Ana Blvd. We explained the situation to Karla, who honestly took pity on us and let us in to help (because they were closed), she could have totally turned us away because we didnt have an appointment and we probably looked crazy. She calmed us down real quick and explained everything and identified a solution. Once our heartrates went back to normal, she handed us off to Jasmine who began the process in fixing our issue. Its literally a coincidence that myself and my husband had been talking about getting life insurance policies, being that this year we would both be 30, so I was like we should look into it. Jasmine without knowing had mentioned it, and we started a conversation. Now I know everyone is out here thinking But Bryan, you went in for one thing and walked out with two., Yes but my point is, and the main reason for my review: I didnt feel ganged up on, bombarded with information, or pressured to get something. She answered every question that I had, and even if I was shy (trying to act like I knew everything) Jasmine was very observant to catch my confused looks and provided additionally clarity without making me feel all Tii- tidi-tiiis. In the past Ive worked at Verizon Corporate and Franchise and I have seen some shady sharks out there, but Jasmine is one of the real ones. Even once the deal was set she still continued to follow up with us. Thanks Jasmine and the entire team. Thank you.
The Ticket Clinic
940 N Grand Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
I was caught speeding on the 133 crossing lake forest. Mind you, this is a 65 MPH zone. There was a cop waiting for anyone speeding. The cop/chp officer said I was speeding but he didn't pull me over until I crossed the light on lake forest. He told me he caught me doing over 80 mph but the said he would lower the speed to 79mph to help me out with the cost. Anyways I hired Mr. MacEachern through the ticket clinic. I thought there would be a chance of winning this case since there were many cars on the road and the cop was about a 2 miles from where he said I was when he clocked me doing 80 + miles. I thought my LAWYER would have done something besides just showing up and not arguing any of this. Mr. MacEachern told me that there was nothing he could do for me because the cop used a liedar gun which is the most accurate radar gun out now and that the cop was credible and I'm just a simple civilian and my word is worthless in court. He then advised me not to pursue this in court because the judge would see it the cops way and I would end up paying more in the end. My point being that if Mr. MacEachern couldn't even over turn this case, or even reduced the cost of my ticket. He really can't do anything but take your money in exchange to show up to court in your place. Don't waste your money trying to fight the ticket / fine. Was it worth it. NO! Don't hire this guy.
